For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been diabetic and overweight for 20 or more years, along with several health issues and various medications. Thank God for my doctor and Mounjaro. I started at 2.5 and 204 lbs in March, with few side effects. It is easy to use. I am now on 5.0 and 64 lbs lighter, and my A1c is at 5.7. I can breathe better and go for walks more. I crave no sugar or carbs. I was miserable with no hope in sight. I will be going on the 7.5 with hopefully no side effects. Thank you Mounjaro and my doctor for giving me my life back."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was on Mounjaro for 3 months for weight loss, starting weight 180 lbs. I Increased to the next dosage every month. I had minimal side effects besides constipation and lost a total of 28 lbs. I did not wing off the medication and everything went fine, did blood work last week and everything was perfect compared to the year before. My weight has been steady thanks to the healthy habits I built during the medication."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I am 6ft and started at 213lbs. Blood sugars were a little elevated and I could see they were headed in the wrong direction. I also have severe sleep apnea. I started @7.5 and just finished my fourth week. This drug is amazing. I’m down 24 lbs in 28 days. Lost 4 lbs last week. Current weight is 189lb. Goal is 175lb. I check my blood sugar 2 or 3 times a day. My highest reading was 101 about an hour after eating. Most readings in the low 80s which is perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more from this drug. Side effects are constipation (drink lots of water) and tired the day after the shot. I’ve been slightly overweight my entire life. I hope to lose this weight and then see if the sleep apnea goes away. Life changing."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "Female age 56. Started Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes in February 2022. Start weight was 249 pounds. Today, my weight is 162, down a total of 87 pounds! No more high blood pressure or high cholesterol. My lower back pain that prevented me from walking for more than 5 minutes is gone. I no longer get out of breath just trying to do normal everyday things. I was very depressed and miserable due to the struggle of trying to live life being so overweight and basically semi-handicapped. I was very introverted and unhappy overall for decades due to being overweight and countless attempts to lose weight and not able to be successful and continued to gain. Now I can walk for miles on end without any pain. I can do things I did 25 years ago. I got my life back. Wish this drug was around many years ago but better late than never. I am on a 15mg dosage. If I get nausea the day after the shot, I take a couple of tums and it’s gone. I take a stool softener to combat hard stools and it does the trick."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "Holy side effects. First, if you eat when you take it, it just sits in your stomach and you’ll be burping it for 12 hours. The headache is insane. Starts immediately. Then you are hit with 3 days of nausea, fatigue and just overall fatigue. Just when you start to feel better, cue the insane heartburn ! It took me 5 days to feel normal again. I’ll pass on this even though I lost 5 pounds the first week."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Mounjaro for just two weeks. I've lost 5 pounds without trying. While that's nice, I am posting a very early review to let other newbies know that other than some indigestion the first two days I haven't had any side effects. I had major constipation on Ozempic. I find taking a : daily stool softener, stay hydrated, take a Metamucil tablet daily, and take a daily prebiotic (get the refrigerated one in your pharmacy as it has live cultures. Keep it refrigerated!) I'm on 5mg, but, moving up to 7.5 next week. Will go to 10mg if no supply of 7.5. My pharmacist said to get my order for the 7.5mg in at least 7 days early so they can get it in on time. They don't stock it, but, get it on overnight. Just FYI, after using Ozempic and Mounjaro, I weigh less than I did 10 years ago. I've gone down 4 sizes. 4 inches off my waist since Christmas! Now a petite XL rapidly headed to petite L."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm on month three. My doctor thinks I might be too sensitive to it and may have to stop soon. Extreme nausea, occasional vomiting, and sulfur burps followed by diarrhea, weakness, and lethargy. The pros: in three months I've gone from 262 lbs to 239 lbs."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "Constant nausea no matter what I eat. Muscle weakness and tired all the time. I’m feeling mentally down. Tomorrow will be my 3rd shot and I’m seriously hoping these side effects go away so I can get type II diabetes under control. Probably losing some weight because I dread the nausea after eating so am not eating as much. The verdict is still out for me on this medicine."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "This is my fifth week and I started on 2.5mg and now on 5.0mg, I have had only one side effect. Dry mouth but I lost 29lbs the first month. I weighed 243lbs and now I am down to 214lbs. If you don’t eat fried foods, sugar, or heavy carbs, you will do great. I don’t overeat anymore, plus exercise I walk 5 miles a day. I drink at least 64fl oz water. This medication is worth taking. I had no issues at all. And feel great. I can’t wait to fulfill my journey. The key is to follow a plan. You want a life change this is it! I used the coupon and only certain pharmacies know how to code it. I got lucky because My pharmacy worked with me."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I saw this medication on TikTok & decided to try it. Started on 2.5mg on 9/23/22 at 204 pounds. Had some chills & started feeling a little off, light headed, metallic taste in mouth, major loss of appetite, increased anxiety. Continued through the 2.5mg then moved up to 5.0mg. On my 4th injection of 5.0mg my life flipped upside down. This medication caused me some serious side effects, syncope, dehydration, electrolytes to be out of sync, chest pain & one heck of panic attack while at work I had to be rushed to ER. Very scary & thankful I was not driving when it happened. I've stopped the medication immediately. I want to feel normal again. Down to 190 pounds now not worth the risk."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am just starting this process. It has been 2 1/2 weeks on 2.5 ml. I have lost 9 lbs. I'm 55 years old, 5'7", 182 starting weight. Menopause kicked my butt; I could never lose more than 5 lbs. Negative side effects: headaches (which I've been prone to or sensitive to in the past), sometimes several times a day. I had mild diarrhea the first week and am now one week in with constipation. Mounjaro seemed to reduce my internal stomach size enormously. I don't have to remind myself to eat, like other people have said, but my body is on a delay and feels full 90 percent of the time - like I don't wake up ready for breakfast; it takes two hours to want to eat. What I do eat is a fraction of what I used to eat. For example, a small soup is plenty for lunch, yogurt for breakfast. It's definitely working for me, very happy. Good luck to everyone trying this:)"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "The medication works for a certain period of time and you will lose weight. The medication will have no effect after six months; however, you can maintain the weight that you lost. The problem with this medication is simply the unavailability of it. Most pharmacies are out of medications, and you have to wait a month or so to get it. This will cause you to gain all the weight you had lost. Not sure why the medication is not available and so difficult to get."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "This is my 2nd post, I am on 7.5 mg of Mounjaro and I have loved every moment of this journey. I was 243 lbs and lost 49 lbs so far since October 2022. I also eat a healthy diet and exercise. Stay hydrated because my side effect is dry mouth and constipation. I did however find out that if you eat carbs, sugar, or fried food you will get nauseous and possibly throw up. Lesson learned. Stick to protein and vegetables and fruit. I need to lose 34 more lbs to be at my ideal weight. I am still excited to be on this journey."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 61-year-old female. I have been overweight for over 20 years and also dealing with other health issues. I started taking Mounjaro just a little over a year. I started with 5mg in the first week and lost 9lbs in one week, then I increased to 7mg and continued to lose weight. Long story short, I am now on 15mg and I have lost a total of 90lbs, from 339 to 247. This is unbelievable. I too have to make myself eat, like other reviews have stated. I feel so good. I have had 3 major back surgeries within the past 3 years. My A1C was never good, but now it's perfect. I used to walk hunched over, and now my posture is perfect. I want to lose 50lbs or more but I am happy with the state I'm in. However, I will be extremely happy to lose some more weight. I am a living testament that these injections work, just like the thousands of other reviews are saying. Where was this medication 20 years ago?"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This medication is incredible. My cholesterol and blood pressure were borderline. My doctor suggested losing weight (I have had a weight problem my entire life) which was an ongoing life pursuit for me. Nothing lasted. I would end up feeling worthless and depressed. I started this medication in January 2023. Today is April 25th and I have lost 36 pounds. My blood pressure is on its way down. My energy levels were stable throughout the day from week one so it is not just the weight loss, the medicine has helped with my ADHD and my depression. The only side effect I have experienced was constipation which I corrected by using small dosages of Miralax daily. I hope the FDA approves this medication for weight loss soon. It is a great tool to use along with healthy eating and exercise."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This medication has been a huge blessing in my life. Started at the lowest dose in August of 2022. Increased each month to the highest dose and have stayed there for 3 months now. It's May of 2023, and I have lost 80 pounds!! I was pre-diabetic, depressed, and hopeless. I've had a bit of stomach upset, diarrhea, heartburn, gas...nothing terrible. But I feel so much better. My joints don't hurt hardly at all, I have more confidence to go places and talk to people and do stuff outside and I even sleep better. I was looking into bariatric surgery before I found Mounjaro. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I started with the 5mg, and it gave me quite a bit of gas, especially if I ate anything fried, like a chicken strip. I hated it at first, but it helped me lose 20 pounds in 2 months. In the 3rd month, I’m taking 7.5mg because the 5mg is out of stock. I still have the gassy feeling, but it’s lessening, which is good. It helps me eat a lot less, and I can’t exercise much because of cartilage loss in my knees. It does help my blood sugar levels a little more than without it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 5'2", 41 years old, started taking the shot in November of 2023. Weighed in at 293, cried all the way home. Within a week lost 16 pounds. Here I am, almost a complete 4 months later, and down 72 pounds. Best thing I have ever done. No more snoring or waking up all hours of the night, and I have so much more energy. Yes, I have some constipation, but it is a small price to pay to feel so much better! Next month I will be on the highest dose. So, from here on out, it's up to me to keep it moving with healthy activity and diet."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just wanted to give an update on my success on Mounjaro. I've been on it for 18 months. I continue to lose weight slowly. No problem with the shot. I've lost a total of 118 pounds. I went from a size 22 to a size 2. I do Weight Watchers app online for the accountability. And walk 5-8 miles a day. My doctor thinks I should be her spokesperson in her office for the new patients going on it to give them the motivation. But can't with HIPAA. I'm okay with her giving them my name and everything but she can't. It's funny when I'm out in public and people are not sure if it's me or not. But it sure makes me feel good. I just know when people do ask how I've lost weight and I tell them. I say with diet, exercise, and I have diabetes. I also take Mounjaro but it's not a miracle drug."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 74 years old. I was thin until I was 40. Started eating all the wrong food as my husband showed his love with food. I started Mounjaro last year in October. I didn't lose any weight for the first 2 months. I lost 5 lbs in the third month. Then I started losing more. I went from 175 to 115 by August. I never wake up at night and started having a problem making it to the bathroom to pee 3 times a week. I called my doctor and she lowered my Mounjaro dosage to 10 mg and I was fine. I stopped taking Mounjaro last month. Mounjaro makes you just not hungry. I learned to be picky about what I ate. I chose healthy food and feel lighter. I have learned to be healthy and thin. Yes, I am short at 5ft 3 inches and happy to have taken Mounjaro."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I’ve been taking Mounjaro for about 14 months. I’ve lost 80 pounds (didn’t realize how heavy/fat I was!). I feel better than I have in years. My A1C initially went down to 4.5. My doctor was concerned - too low. So he took me off all insulin - wow. I’ve been Type 2 for over 10 years. My latest A1C was 5.9. So my diabetes is in excellent control. I can now walk with my hubby. The weight loss helped with this. I feel so great every day! Thank you Mounjaro!"

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I don’t have diabetes. I may have insulin resistance. I’m taking this for weight loss. BMI 48. Took first dose, a sample dose, five days ago. I didn’t even feel the needle. Within a day of the injection I started having pain in my low back, in the tailbone area, squeezing muscle pain when standing or walking. The pain goes away after a few minutes of sitting or lying down. (I had similar pain when taking Belviq. I don’t normally have back pain.) Also have some intermittent mild itching at wrists, ankles. I still think about food all the time but I’m not actually interested in eating it. Someone brought me a quarter pounder sandwich for supper. I had to cut it in half and then I shared my half with the cat. There’s cake in the refrigerator and I haven’t touched it. I’m hungriest in the mid-morning now and today had 1 low carb tortilla, one link turkey sausage, a slice of cheese, cilantro, and a bowl of watermelon."
