For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I feel amazing on Mounjaro. I feel as though my body is “back in tune” and the weight comes off steadily. I’m just never hungry but I do eat. It doesn’t take much for me to feel full once I do eat. 23 pounds lighter and 10 more to go."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This medication has been a huge blessing in my life. Started at the lowest dose in August of 2022. Increased each month to the highest dose and have stayed there for 3 months now. It's May of 2023, and I have lost 80 pounds!! I was pre-diabetic, depressed, and hopeless. I've had a bit of stomach upset, diarrhea, heartburn, gas...nothing terrible. But I feel so much better. My joints don't hurt hardly at all, I have more confidence to go places and talk to people and do stuff outside and I even sleep better. I was looking into bariatric surgery before I found Mounjaro. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been taking 0.3ml weekly for nearly 8 weeks. This stuff works! Hunger dissipated and smaller portions eaten. Constant weight loss over that period up to 5kg (haven't checked in this week yet). My side effects are severe reflux (usually on the same day as injection) but can happen rest of the week and constipation. I do suffer from reflux from time to time prior to this, but it is definitely amplified with Mounjaro. All in all, very happy with the outcome."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Lost 10 kg in 3.5 months with daily exercise and calorie calorie-controlled diet. It does not eliminate the cravings though, I always have them, just needed the mindset that this is an expensive drug and I have to make it work. No side effects at all compared to what I experienced with Saxenda. Saxenda gave me the most horrible constipation I've ever had in my life. I genuinely thought I was gonna end up in A&E for impacted stool. I'm very happy with Mounjaro."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Mounjaro 2.5mg for 3 weeks now, and have lost a total of 22 lbs. When they say it kills the appetite, they aren't kidding! I struggle to get 800 calories a day, and most of the time, those are either from salad dressings or protein shakes. The side effects aren't horrible, just not fun either. The first 3 days after my shot, I've got constipation and no appetite at all, those are the days when I'll have a single 32 mg protein shake for the day - if I take in anything else, I feel like I've overeaten and get bloated and slightly nauseous - not worth it. Day 4 I start to feel really queasy and can't even stomach my shake. Day 5 comes the diarrhea, for the entire day. Day 5 and 6 I feel pretty good. I know it's a lot, but the symptoms haven't really caused me to do anything different - other than consumption of food. I live off of Gin-Gin chews (ginger chews) for the symptoms, and they are enough to keep everything at a low-grade annoyance."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "The medication works for a certain period of time and you will lose weight. The medication will have no effect after six months; however, you can maintain the weight that you lost. The problem with this medication is simply the unavailability of it. Most pharmacies are out of medications, and you have to wait a month or so to get it. This will cause you to gain all the weight you had lost. Not sure why the medication is not available and so difficult to get."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 74 years old. I was thin until I was 40. Started eating all the wrong food as my husband showed his love with food. I started Mounjaro last year in October. I didn't lose any weight for the first 2 months. I lost 5 lbs in the third month. Then I started losing more. I went from 175 to 115 by August. I never wake up at night and started having a problem making it to the bathroom to pee 3 times a week. I called my doctor and she lowered my Mounjaro dosage to 10 mg and I was fine. I stopped taking Mounjaro last month. Mounjaro makes you just not hungry. I learned to be picky about what I ate. I chose healthy food and feel lighter. I have learned to be healthy and thin. Yes, I am short at 5ft 3 inches and happy to have taken Mounjaro."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Mounjaro has been a life saver for me. I am fortunate enough to not have many side effects. In the beginning I would get gas and stomach cramping, but I have learned what foods seem to cause that and now avoid them. It is so nice to be able to get through the day with my brain not constantly telling me to eat."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I don’t have diabetes. I may have insulin resistance. I’m taking this for weight loss. BMI 48. Took first dose, a sample dose, five days ago. I didn’t even feel the needle. Within a day of the injection I started having pain in my low back, in the tailbone area, squeezing muscle pain when standing or walking. The pain goes away after a few minutes of sitting or lying down. (I had similar pain when taking Belviq. I don’t normally have back pain.) Also have some intermittent mild itching at wrists, ankles. I still think about food all the time but I’m not actually interested in eating it. Someone brought me a quarter pounder sandwich for supper. I had to cut it in half and then I shared my half with the cat. There’s cake in the refrigerator and I haven’t touched it. I’m hungriest in the mid-morning now and today had 1 low carb tortilla, one link turkey sausage, a slice of cheese, cilantro, and a bowl of watermelon."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I tried Ozempic for 9 weeks and thought I was going to die, so they switched me to Mounjaro. The 1st 2 weeks were okay, I just didn't have an appetite, but week 3 hit me just like ozempic did. Total exhaustion, I've lost 5 lbs in little over 3 days, I have side effects of sulphur burps, dehydrated, constant nausea, falling to sleep at all times, all night vomiting and diarrhea. I feel bruised from head to toe and blurred vision. I'm telling people this for a warning. Read the reviews. People are constantly going to the ER because of these medications. I'm flustered because I found something that worked for my diabetes, but it is really bad for me. Since starting Ozempic up to now I've lost almost 30lbs... might sound great but not when you can't function."

Triglycerides are now normal at 125, were 250 to 700 for the last 20 years. Down 50 lbs in seven months from 300, without much effort. Pain is down/activity is up. Thank you, Eli Lilly, for saving my life and reversing the aging process!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "The injection is great for weight loss. I lost 45 lbs in about 9 months. Don't taper up every month. Only go up and stay at that dose as long as possible. Involve a nutritionist or dietitian to help you from the beginning understand how to approach food so you can get off the med. I'm barely eating anything and when I tried stopping, the appetite comes back ferociously. I am now considered anorexic and having the nutritionist help me taper off the med. I pray it works and I don't put too much weight back on but can eat healthily."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Mounjaro for 3 weeks. (2.5 mg injection) and It has helped me tremendously. I started out at 333 lbs. Now I weigh 319 lbs. I feel full for longer. Just feel tired a lot but I take vitamins and something for energy so that has helped. I take stool softeners so I won't get constipated. I had a slight headache for a couple of days when I first started. But not bad. I don't crave snacks, caffeine, or sweets like I use to on a daily basis. If I even overeat a little I feel miserable so I have to watch that. Managing your portions is very important. I'm doing better with that now. It doesn't take much for me to eat and drink to be satisfied. My BP has been good. My doctor said I may be able to get off BP meds soon. I am so grateful for this new med. Can't wait to move up to the next dosage."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Mounjaro for weight loss on 10/10/2023 and have lost 23 pounds as of 11/04/2023. I feel full most of the time, so my food intake has decreased. I am paying more attention to my eating habits. I eat more liquid meals with lots of protein, healthy snacks, and greatly lowered my salt intake while drinking lots of water daily. I have increased my exercise because I know I need to tone and firm along the journey. I feel so much better on the days that I exercise. My side effects have been nausea and extreme fullness. Sipping protein shakes and herbal tea with mint help soothe the stomach on those days of nausea. I highly recommend this drug for weight loss. I have seen others with amazing results."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I know this med doesn't work for everyone and some people have some pretty horrific side effects. Luckily, I am one of those people who it DOES work for. In 4 months, went from A1C of 7.5 to 5.0. All of my other regular labs are in normal range. Going off atorvastatin (10mg for cholesterol) and lisinopril (10mg for high blood pressure) soon. Also, lost 45 lbs. Only side effect worth mentioning is constipation, but I think I finally have a handle on that (with magnesium supplement). Started on 2.5mg for 8 shots, 5.0mg the rest of the time. My biggest problem is supply issues. I have a prescription for 7.5mg but haven't been able to find any yet. Shortage is supposedly ending, so hopefully that will be resoved soon."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It has reduced my appetite by about 20 percent. I have lost 25 pounds in 10 months. I am still 40 pounds overweight. I am up to 10 mg dosage. Minimal side effects. It's a bit frustrating as I see others losing much more and much faster. It has helped but I still have a pretty hearty appetite. Minimal side effects."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "Wonderful. No side effects. Have appetite suppression, which is good for weight loss. However, I do not feel I am starving at all. Have lost 6.8 lbs. in the first two weeks. Taking 2.5 mg. Walking 45 minutes on treadmill early each day and do not really have the desire to eat junk food. Eat well, especially breakfast which was the same I had been doing, but the same after I had heart surgery last year. I am increasing to 5mg. after this week and I will see how it goes. No side effects at all as far as I can tell."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "After years of dealing with type 2 diabetes and taking metformin, I finally managed to get my numbers under control long enough to get off the daily meds and control my condition with a proper diet. At the age of 68, after about 15 years of being quite obese and discussing the matter with my doctor, I began using Mounjaro. I started with a low-dose weekly injection and in a few months worked my way up to the full recommended dosage of 15 MG/0.5ML per week. It's been less than a year and I have lost 110 lbs and feel fantastic with no noticeable side effects. Mounjaro was not the first medication I tried, but it was the first one to really give me results. I chuckle at other meds I hear jingles about on television commercials and have my own jingle that comes to mind for Mounjaro every time, and I can't get it out of my head."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "My own personal experience on Mounjaro was the best choice I made. Ozempic does have too many side effects, as I tried and stopped. So I asked the doctor for Mounjaro, the four pens are easy, and I have had absolutely no side effects. Just, it does make you not hungry, but you have to eat. I get full fast. I feel great also. I am started on the first low dose. And in a week, I noticed a change in appetite. I don't crave sweets or beef. But I do follow a strict diet for cholesterol and diabetes. But I'm no longer binge eating either."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I began my journey 08/23/22. As of 01/17/23 I am down 55lbs. I have had no issues. I truly have little to no desire to eat. I have to force myself to eat. My blood sugar is now normal to the low end. I really hope that insurance will kick in before the coupon is no longer effective. I am stunned by how well this has worked. I have tried other meds and nothing has come close. I am 11 lbs from my goal weight. I think I and going to have to readjust my goal. Yay!"

For Diabetes, Type 2 "Started at the 2.5 level and lost some weight. (15 lbs.) Sugars are down as well. Greasy foods are not recommended. Went to the 5.0 level and everything dairy went bad...sours on the stomach badly, and quickly. Ate too much one night and got very ill, vomiting and diarrhea all night along with serious gas from both ends! I don't like that I can't have my diary, even tried Lactaid to no avail. Also, there seems to be a metallic taste in my mouth most of the time."

For Diabetes, Type 2 "I was prescribed the 2.5 dosage as a trial by my endocrinologist for pre-diabetic and weight loss on 9/15/22. I felt fine the first day, shot was given in the morning but the next day I actually forgot to eat lunch. That is not normal for me. I wasn’t hungry. The third and fourth day I had horrible sulphur burps, nausea, fatigue. On the fourth day I took two naps which is not normal for me. I thought my symptoms were getting worse but then the fifth and sixth day I felt great. I am fearful to take the next injection this week as I don’t want a repeat of the less than desirable side effects. It really wrecked my weekend. On the up side, I lost a couple of pounds the first week. That’s exciting but at what cost?"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've used Mounjaro for 2 weeks. I've lost 8 lbs. It's crazy how it completely takes your appetite away. You rarely think of food or hunger. You have to make yourself eat. When I eat I can only eat about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food. It feels like that is all you can fit in your stomach. Side effects.. some insomnia, a lot stomach acid, nausea. But it has re-risen some panic attack issues and unfortunately some dark thoughts which may be the reason I stop taking it. For me this little experiment has shown me that my weight is indeed too many calories. I LOVE not thinking about food or feeling hungry but the psychological side effects may end my experience."
