For Migraine "I’ve been diagnosed with cluster headaches. Ubrelvy diminished my pain after two hours, and the pain was basically gone about 15 hours later. But then, approximately 30 hours later, I was extremely nauseous, had terrible stomach cramps, and started vomiting. Six hours later, I’m only just starting to feel better, and I feel like I’m getting another headache. I’ve been using Tosymra with good results, but it causes extreme nerve pain for about 30 minutes. However, I will never take Ubrelvy again."

For Migraine "Was so excited to try Ubrelvy of the CGRP group of meds after it was prescribed by my neurologist as an alternative to triptans because of my elderly age. I have suffered with migraines since I was about eight years of age. Triptans have been a real miracle treatment for me but have been fearful of stroke and complications in the elderly, so finding out about the new group of drugs was so encouraging. I took the three times 50 mg with some relief, but after trying the next 50 mg for a migraine of seven pain level, with not much relief after the 2-hour mark, I took another one, which gave me extreme nausea and vomiting all night. I might try this drug as a supplement but trust Maxalt and Frova for the pain and other symptom relief of migraine for now. Disappointed."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy did absolutely nothing for my migraines. The only thing it did was cause vomiting and a worse migraine. Then came the skin itching and burning. Drove me insane, along with that, mania. Definitely not a good medication for me. I was so hoping it would work after using every other medicine and Botox."

For Migraine "If your migraine wasn’t already going to make you vomit, this medication definitely will. I took the lowest dose of the two dosing options and still had severe nausea, not even ODT zofran could knock it out (on top of Bonine, which is a dissolvable meclizine). The lower dose was not enough to knock out my migraine, disappointing given the severe nausea side effect. I haven’t tried a higher dose because vomiting is nearly as miserable as the pain for me, plus nausea and vomiting give me a headache. Failure for me."

For Migraine "The first time I took it, my migraine went away with minimal side effects. Took it for the second time last night, and thought I was going to die. Headache went from 5/10 to 11/10, and I began vomiting and felt like I needed to go to the ER. I have an iron stomach and have not vomited in 15 years. Migraines never make me throw up. This was the worst I have ever felt, hands down. I am so disappointed but also very concerned because those side effects were downright scary. I feel wiped out today and will never take Ubrelvy again. I used to tell people a kidney stone was the worst pain of my life... this was worse. I'm still kind of in shock - I've taken all kinds of meds, and nothing has ever done this to me."

For Migraine "Seemed to work amazing the first time, but the next two times made me feel strange and caused vomiting. Never had this issue with Maxalt. Does not seem insurance will cover it anyway (currently using samples from my doctor), even with the copay card that was offered, it was declined, and $850 for ten pills is ridiculous... especially for something that makes me throw up and puts me to sleep for six hours. May as well just experience the migraine for free."

For Migraine "This medication has been better for me than triptans but still not 100%. The side effects from all four of the triptans I've tried were still too much for me to return to normal functioning. I don't seem to get any direct side effects from Ubrelvy. I get most of the classic migraine side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, photophobia, sensitivity to sound, visual changes (tunnel vision in my case), and insomnia. Ubrelvy does very well at reducing symptoms overall, along with a reduction in head pain. However, I can get stuck in cycles where I take it, symptoms and pain subside, then I wake up the next morning and I'm back to where I started from. This can go on until I run out of medication and give in to going to the ER. So I definitely prefer Ubrelvy to triptans, but it's not quite perfect for me."

For Migraine "I do not get migraines often. But when I do, they leave me in bed all day. Was given a sample of this to try. 100 mg pill. I woke up with a horrible migraine. Took the sample about 30 mins after I woke up. Within an hour, I had extreme nausea, nausea like I have never experienced. It didn't stop there. I began to dry heave, I could feel my stomach just contracting over and over, to the point where eventually I started to throw up water like greenish... bile? The severe stomach contractions and vomiting went on for about 4 hours. I finally took some Promethazine and was able to sleep it off. But my stomach was still sore and uneasy for over 24 hrs after taking. I will NEVER take this medication again."

For Migraine "I tried a 50 mg Ubrelvy for a migraine that had been building all day. Shortly after, I had pain in my temples and then complete relief. The next morning, I woke up with awful, awful head pain. It was throbbing, and I could hardly walk. I puked my guts out all day and couldn’t keep anything down. My usual arm weakness worsened. I still am not better three days later and am still taking Zofran to not puke. I will not attempt this drug again."

For Migraine "My doctor gave me a sample of Ubrelvy as a treatment for when a migraine were to occur. On the plus side, I started feeling relief in about 90 mins. It was early evening, so I went to sleep. Woke up around 3:30 am, and I was no longer in pain, but I was sweating with the feeling of the room spinning. My mouth was very dry, and I was feeling nausea. After dry-heaving a bunch, I drank half a bottle of water. Vomited that up not long after. The plus side is the pill seemed to help with the headache, but were the side effects worth it? I’m on the fence about trying another dosage for future migraine."

For Migraine "I was so hopeful about trying this medication. I woke up with a migraine. I decided to take my first dose. Within 30 minutes, I was vomiting, dizzy, stomach hurting, and feeling very strung out and tired. I’m very happy for the folks that have good results. I’m not one of them, though."

For Migraine "I suffer from vestibular migraines, most doctors don’t even understand what they are. They just think, oh migraines, nope, they are different. I have tried so many meds with no relief. The most recent was Ubrelvy. It knocked the migraine down from a 10 to a 5. However, I was so sick to my stomach: severe nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea two hours after taking it. I was up all night with a severe upset stomach. I tried Zofran, Nexium, and Tums. Nothing worked. Then I felt fatigued all day the next day, like a hangover, and the migraine is creeping its way back in."

For Migraine "This is the worst migraine medication I have tried so far, and it seems like I’ve tried them all. I took this after receiving a sample from my new neurologist, and all it did was knock me out for 6 hours when I was supposed to be working. It also made my nausea and vomiting worse, and when I woke up, my migraine was worse. I will never take this again. The side effects greatly outweigh any benefits, which to me there were absolutely no benefits to this medication. All negatives."
