For Migraine "This medication, Ubrelvy, is absolutely TERRIBLE! Beware! I took 50 mg the first time, and it did absolutely nothing for me. Went back to my neurologist, and they gave me 100 mg to try. After I took it, I got so dizzy and sleepy I actually got into a terrible car accident. I didn’t realize how sedated and dizzy this med can make you."

For Migraine "I’ve had pretty good success with Ubrelvy after many bad experiences with Maxalt. Maxalt gives me jaw pain, and the migraine boomerangs back the next day. Ubrelvy gets rid of the migraine faster and without making me sleepy most of the time, but the last two Ubrelvy that I took earlier this month seemed to increase my vertigo. I read the insert to look for drug interactions and found that I can’t drink grapefruit juice when taking it due to dizziness. Other people mentioned muscle twitching—YES!! The last dose that I took a week ago had me napping due to the pain, and my right index finger woke me up twice because it was twitching!! I’ll have to talk to my PCP about it."

For Migraine "Tried Ubrelvy at the recommendation of my neurologist and will never take it again. Within an hour of taking it, I began feeling very agitated, panicky, and unable to think clearly, as if my brain was in a fog. That lasted for hours as the headache continued. Then I started to have serious body aches, to the extent I wondered if my headache was actually the onset of flu or COVID since I had the type of painful body aches associated with illness and high fevers. Four hours after taking Ubrelvy, the body aches were so severe I could hardly walk but made it to the bathroom to take 2 extra strength Tylenol. I was finally able to fall asleep but woke up again in night sweats and feeling dizzy. The following morning, my headache and all other side effects were completely gone, but I had horrible diarrhea. Never again."

For Migraine "I have been experiencing this non-stop headache (migraine) for almost two years now. Sometimes scary, sometimes bearable. I think I am getting used to living with pain. :-( When I saw the Ubrelvy commercial, I was so hopeful. I prayed it would work for me!! I took just one 50 mg tablet, and within 20 mins, I felt dizzy and nauseous. After half an hour, my usually normal blood pressure jumped. And the headache, it became much stronger. I waited for two hours (as it is required) and took my good old Extra Strength Excedrin. At least, my pain went back to my usual 4. At night and the next day, I was still dizzy and 'not myself.' Something is not right with this Ubrelvy."

For Migraine "I currently take monthly injections of Emgality and have Botox every 3 months. If I have a migraine, I have been taking rizatriptan for the past 6 years. My neurologist gave me a sample of Ubrelvy. My migraine went away in about 30 minutes. However, I was extremely nauseous, dizzy, and sleepy. I became very lethargic for about 2 days. I could not get out of bed. Although it did work for my migraine, the side effects were not worth it."

For Migraine "I was given samples of Ubrelvy from my primary care doctor when they ran out of samples of Nurtec. I am on Aimovig but have a few breakthrough migraines, so I only need a few each month. The first time I took the Ubrelvy, it worked well. I took 100 mg, and it greatly reduced all symptoms. I wouldn't say they were gone, but definitely improved. The problems came the second time I took Ubrelvy. Again, I took 100 mg. This time it cut down migraine symptoms, but a few hours later, I felt extremely dizzy, like everything was spinning, and it felt like I was walking on a trampoline. I thought I was having a stroke! My husband and I looked up other people's experiences with Ubrelvy, and that put my mind at ease, knowing it wasn't a stroke. The dizziness lasted over 72 hours! I am definitely never taking Ubrelvy again!"

For Migraine "This stuff works! Most of the time, I can take 100 mg of Ubrelvy at the start of a migraine, and in a little bit, I'll forget that I'd even had one! Other medications might dim the pain but leave me with the other symptoms, like fog, dizziness, etc. Ubrelvy makes it all just go away!"

For Migraine "I was given samples of Ubrelvy from my primary physician for my migraines. I took one 50 mg pill, and an hour later my entire left arm went numb. 30 min after that, I had double vision. I was very dizzy, EXTREMELY nauseated. Not feeling myself at all felt very, very weird. This was yesterday, today I feel horrible. Extremely nauseated, vision still blurry, very weak, very shaky. I will NEVER take this drug again and would not suggest it to anyone. I threw them in the garbage."

For Migraine "I took Ubrelvy 50 mg for the first time today. My migraines have become very frequent, and I feel that Imitrex is only giving me a few hours of relief before the pain comes back and I need to take a new pill. My Dr. recommended trying Ubrelvy, saying that it will work better than the triptan and that I will have fewer side effects. I guess it is not for me. 1) didn’t get rid of the pain until after 8 hours, 2) made me nauseous, 3) made me very dizzy and sleepy, and when I sat on the sofa to rest, I started having terrible hallucinations. This happened to me when I took Percocet after a surgery a few years ago, and it was horrible. From that time on, I’ve never accepted a prescription for pain relievers, and I will never take Ubrelvy ever again."

For Migraine "Tried Ubrelvy as directed by Dr. And within an hour of 1 tablet, my migraine was gone. I took it at the onset of the migraine when I start seeing an aura around lights. I have a migraine every day. I took a single dose of 50 mg, headache gone. The side effect that got me was dizzy and nauseous. I puked one time, but this is common for me during a migraine. This only lasted maybe 20 minutes, I immediately started feeling better. Side effect number 2, for some reason, it made me hyper, not in a bad way, just a lot of energy. Side effect number 3, insomnia. I took the tablet around 1 pm and I got up at 8 am, and I’m typing this review at 4 am and not even remotely tired. I would take the tablet again for the relief. I used samples provided by Dr. Not sure about the cost."

For Migraine "I took 50 mg of Ubrelvy at the onset of an early morning migraine. About an hour after taking it, the migraine intensified to the point where it was unbearable. I finally took a Maxalt, which got rid of it. For the rest of the day, I felt extremely tired, dizzy, hungover, and just overall weird. I didn’t start to feel normal again until late that evening. After reading the reviews, this medication seems to work very well for some, unfortunately, it did not work for me."

For Migraine "Was suggested to try this medication for my barometric migraines due to having a medical condition triggering them. The medical condition is called dysautonomia in the form of hyper POTS. Within 20 minutes after taking one dose of the 100 mg, I had severe vertigo, which almost caused me to pass out. It was due to the side effect of this medication."

For Migraine "I was so hopeful about trying this medication. I woke up with a migraine. I decided to take my first dose. Within 30 minutes, I was vomiting, dizzy, stomach hurting, and feeling very strung out and tired. I’m very happy for the folks that have good results. I’m not one of them, though."

For Migraine "Tried this for the first time today. Woke up with a migraine, took 50 mg Ubrelvy, and after about 1 hour, pain was worse, and I had terrible nausea. After throwing up, my lips and fingers were tingling, and I was extremely dizzy. Don't think I will try it again. Triptans work, but sometimes need several doses, or the headache rebounds, and I get extremely irritable for a few days after."

For Migraine "I’m shocked by the amount of negative reviews here, but I guess this is just like any medication. It works for some and doesn’t for others. I tried triptans prior to this medication, and they made my migraines SO much worse. They also made me feel so sick and dizzy. This medication kicks in for me within 30-60 minutes, and it seriously changed my life."

For Migraine "I first tried taking sumatriptan, but my hair started falling out, and I was dizzy and couldn't find words most of the time. I then started Botox for my migraines. It made such a difference! I went from basically being bedridden to only having 3 migraines a month. I have much less now, and when I know that Tylenol isn't going to take one away, I use half a pill for it, or a full pill for a 'deep' one. It pretty much knocks me out for a couple of hours, but then the pain is gone. The side effects hit me the next day. So last night I took one, and today I am out of breath, sweaty, my skin hurts to touch (especially my legs), and I have a dry mouth. BUT I can be up and with my kids. I just have to take it slow the next day is all. I would rather have these small side effects and be able to be up and about instead of being in bed still trying to get over it. The Botox and Ubrelvy combo has gotten me my life back! I would suggest anyone with migraines try it."

For Migraine "It definitely works to stop my migraines. Initially, I felt a little dizzy and my vision was blurry when I took it, so I was careful not to drive (I typically can't anyway with a migraine). I soon got used to it, and other than a little drowsiness sometimes-which also could be explained by poor sleep with migraine pain-I suffer no apparent side effects now. My migraines are triggered by weather changes (wind, pressure, cold) and by environmental allergies; I am suffering terribly lately in rural NJ. I hope that FDA approval for more doses per month will be granted so I can get through these intense seasonal episodes."
