For Migraine "I received a sample of this medication from my neurologist yesterday and had to take one immediately. Two hours into my migraine, I was still in pain. I finally was able to go to sleep, although my head was pounding. The next morning when I got up for work...the headache was gone, but the hangover is crazy! I have never been so tired in my whole entire life."

For Migraine "Very disappointed with Ubrelvy. I had a bad migraine and was asleep when it started for other rescue meds. I waited too long, so I thought perfect time for Ubrelvy. It did not work at all for me. Thankful I have a prescription for Sumatriptan injections. I took that, and it was gone in an hour, and it was a bad one. My insurance pays for Ubrelvy, but it is not worth refilling. Sumatriptan injections work, but sometimes you feel really tired after taking them and sometimes the next day. Ubrelvy is $92 per pill cash price. Not worth $1 for the treatment."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy knocks out the most serious migraines within 30-40 minutes without the exhaustion and hangover effect or the issue of having loss of vocabulary. I did have to get a prior authorization through my insurance to get it covered."

For Migraine "I currently take monthly injections of Emgality and have Botox every 3 months. If I have a migraine, I have been taking rizatriptan for the past 6 years. My neurologist gave me a sample of Ubrelvy. My migraine went away in about 30 minutes. However, I was extremely nauseous, dizzy, and sleepy. I became very lethargic for about 2 days. I could not get out of bed. Although it did work for my migraine, the side effects were not worth it."

For Migraine "First off, triptans and most other drugs have not worked for me. I have been taking Emgality, and that has been a minimal improvement. I’m also getting Botox every 12 weeks. Botox has helped tremendously, but I still get at least 12 migraines a month with aura, nausea, and visual disturbances. I took this drug after a migraine started, and I had nausea. Usually, this would mean a day of pain... at least. This medicine was like a miracle. Everything else leaves a residual headache that makes the migraine come back. I took this a week ago and have not had a migraine since. This is a game changer for me. It makes me really tired, but it is so worth it to me. I still can’t believe it."

For Migraine "Just took my third dose of this in less than a week. Saw other migraine sufferers buying this, so I asked my doctor for a prescription. Currently, I had been on Relpax for years. Relpax works wonders but leaves me so tired and thirsty. This stuff does nothing. Nada. Zilch. No pain relief. I might as well be eating candy for my pain. It's that bad. Don't buy the hype, and don't get it if your migraines are on the bad side. You will be suffering waiting for relief that never comes. Back to Relpax and naps. Insurance didn't cover, but with a coupon, it was twenty dollars."

For Migraine "I've never reviewed any medication in my life, and I don't take anything besides Ubrelvy. I have suffered from migraines for nearly a decade, but I felt compelled to review Ubrelvy because it simply changed my life. I considered myself disabled and was always scared of having a migraine attack, especially when around my young son. Ubrelvy does take about 2 hours to start working, but once it does, it lasts the entire day, and you forget you even had a migraine. It is AMAZING! You do feel tired and sleepy, but I can deal with that as long as the migraine and nausea go away."

For Migraine "I was receiving BOTOX treatments for my migraines, my insurance (United Healthcare) decided to deny them after 6 years unless I wanted to pay in full for the treatment (which I can't afford). They agreed to Ubrelvy, out of 5 my Neuro sent over to them (it wasn't my Dr's 1st pick). It has not made my stomach upset (thankfully), I experienced dry mouth and being tired (zombie-like). However, it hasn't helped with the 1 migraine so far, and I have tried back-to-back doses. I've been using it for a month now (about 6 doses). I just want/need to be without pain for at least 1 day."

For Migraine "I was given a sample and then prescribed Ubrelvy. I was taking triptans but had side effects. Ubrelvy works within 2 hours for some relief and eliminates migraine symptoms within 3-4 hours. I do feel a little jittery and agitated/spacey after a few hours. I feel more tired, but pain and other symptoms are relieved. Have to drink a lot of water or feel “toxic” after and left side belly ache."

For Migraine "The doctor gave me a sample on day 2 of a migraine. I took the sample on day 3 when I returned home from doing errands as I did not know how it would affect me. Within an hour, I felt extremely lethargic, and my head felt heavy, but the pain was dulled. I went to lie down, but I could not fall asleep. After another hour, I got up, and my head felt better than it had in days. I continued on with my evening, but by bedtime, I was wired! I could not sleep even with sleeping pills! The next night's sleep was troubled, but my head remained pain-free. I will have to take another dose to see how it will affect me, but I would rather be tired than have a migraine."

For Migraine "I took 50 mg of Ubrelvy at the onset of an early morning migraine. About an hour after taking it, the migraine intensified to the point where it was unbearable. I finally took a Maxalt, which got rid of it. For the rest of the day, I felt extremely tired, dizzy, hungover, and just overall weird. I didn’t start to feel normal again until late that evening. After reading the reviews, this medication seems to work very well for some, unfortunately, it did not work for me."

For Migraine "I was so hopeful about trying this medication. I woke up with a migraine. I decided to take my first dose. Within 30 minutes, I was vomiting, dizzy, stomach hurting, and feeling very strung out and tired. I’m very happy for the folks that have good results. I’m not one of them, though."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy has worked wonders for me. For years, only triptans helped me. When I’d take Imitrex, it would cure the migraine but made my whole body hurt—joint pain, hurt to swallow, total lethargy. My doctor switched me to Zomig. I had fewer of the all-body symptoms but didn’t like heart attack as a possible side effect. It also made me feel lightheaded. I tried Ubrelvy. The first time I took it, it took over two hours to kick in. As time has gone on, I think my body has adapted to it, and now it’s more like one hour. If you’re not better after two hours, you can take another. I’ve only had to do that once. I have literally NO noticeable side effects on Ubrelvy. If you look at the science, it just blocks proteins, whereas the triptans actually affect the vascular system, which is way scarier to me. I’m happy to have found this medication."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy takes forever to kick in - that's my one complaint. It is an hour+ to start working. Occasionally, it can be hard on your stomach, but I haven't run into too many problems. Once it does, the head pain is gone. I still have other symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, body pains, but the head pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain are gone. It can make you tired as well, but it's hard for me to tell if the tiredness is the migraine or the drugs, so it is not a pronounced drugged-up feeling. Sometimes I have to take a follow-up pill a few hours later if the first doesn't work. Given how long it takes to kick in, the sooner you notice a migraine coming on and the faster you take a pill, the better. The problem is, since it is expensive, you definitely don't want to waste pills either. I am allowed 10 pills, 100mg dose per refill. Supposedly, there are no rebound headaches, but I am unsure if mine are rebound ever."

For Migraine "Ubrelvy has been a miracle drug for me. The first medication that ever worked for me. My migraines used to last for 12 to 48 hours. It usually takes two hours for Ubrelvy to get rid of my migraines, and occasionally I have to take a second pill after two hours, but it gets rid of it every time. My sensitivity to light and sound also disappears. Sometimes it makes me a little tired, but that’s the only side effect I’ve had."

For Migraine "Haven't been taking it very long, and it does make me a little tired when I take it. While it does not get rid of my migraine completely, it does dull it to a mild headache, making it more tolerable."

For Migraine "I’m so blown away by the reviews here. I switched to Ubrelvy 6 months ago after suffering a mental breakdown on Imitrex. I was using it so often that I could predict my rebound migraines. In 5 years of Triptans, I developed severe depression from them (Google serotonin and Imitrex)-not uncommon, I learned after asking my neurologist. Ubrelvy does not make me tired, sick, or anxious, it doesn’t make my heart race. It has only failed me once so far versus Imitrex failing about 20% of the time. Ubrelvy does take 2-3 hours to kick in. It slowly, slowly clears up the pain until I just forget it was there. I will say I was super disappointed when I first took it because it took so long to kick in. I’m nervous about the long-term side effects, always with new drugs, but hopefully these CGRP inhibitors will be useful for me."
