Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Zepbound (tirzepatide) is amazing - if you are not losing much on semaglutide, see if your doctor will let you try tirzepatide. I’ve been on Zepbound seven months and I’m down 55 pounds. Took 2.5mg the first month and then spent 5 months on 5mg. Just moved up to 7.5mg this month and it has totally killed my appetite. Main side effect for me is fatigue, especially the day of the shot and the next couple of days. I plan to stay on 7.5 until I reach my goal weight and then go on maintenance. I will have to keep taking it - otherwise it is likely I will gain all the weight back. Yes, it is expensive but worth it."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I am just starting week 5. I started on 5mg, so today was my first 7.5. Last month, I lost exactly 20 pounds. I started at 222 and now I'm at 202 after 1 month. I get bad constipation, but nothing Dulcolax liquid can't fix. I drink 2 protein shakes a day, a handful of chicken, and some days I replace chicken with fruits and low-fat cottage cheese. I drink lots of water and have 1 coffee with only milk once a week. I can't wait until this time next month. It's definitely a game changer. I haven't been that active, but today I will start going to the gym 5 days a week. I will update next month."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Started using Zepbound in March 2024, at 2.5 mg. History of Obesity (BMI > 29) and Hypertension. Starting weight was 202 lb. and Blood Pressure Avg. of 153/90. As of today, May 24, 2024, currently on 10mg. My weight is currently 177 lb, having lost 25 lbs (12%) of starting weight. It was easy to learn how to use the injection pen, and it is a painless process. I am also exercising, running 4-5 days per week and weight training 2 days per week. Exercise is an important adjunct to weight loss treatment, and can help maintain muscle mass while losing weight. It is also imperative to eat foods rich in protein and green, leafy vegetables. Side effects have been minimal, with occasional constipation, which is remedied by using Miralax or similar products."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "5’ 8” and 272 was my starting stats. I did four weeks of 2.5 then went up to 5.0. I am only on my 6th week (4 2.5s and 2 5.0s) and I have already lost 30 pounds. Now, at 242, I am looking to take off another 30-50 pounds. I am trying to be put on a list to have a transplant and have to lose a certain amount of weight to make the list. I give the medication a 100% A+. If you need to drop weight, this is a great medication. Side effects: Constipation. Drink as much water as you can and be prepared to take laxatives to poo. I’m talking rock pebbles harder than pleasing a Gold-digger on a date; you’ll definitely have to take some laxatives to poo. I suggest flavoring your water. It helps. Candy: You will crave sugary candy like Gobstoppers, Sour Patch Kids, Skittles; pretty much anything you can get your hands on. Try dark chocolate almonds and just small nibbles of candy when you get really, really sleepy. Bottom line: It works! It's worth the hard rock poo."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "50-year-old female with 100 lbs to lose and PCOS. Been on Zepbound for 6 weeks (just took 7th shot). Minimal side effects. Occasional nausea, headaches, and sore muscles, usually the day after injection, but they go away by the next day. Taking the 5 mg dose right now. I have been getting large injection site rashes with itching, burning, and swelling with the last 3 doses. The swelling and itching go down after 3-4 days, but the red spots are still visible from all 3 of the previous doses. I didn't get this with the 2.5mg dose at all. Hoping it was just this last box of the medicine and the next will be better. I have only lost 5 lbs in the 6 weeks I have been on it, which has been very disappointing. It has lowered my blood pressure though. It was on the high side of normal before, now it's perfect. Really hoping that going up to the 7.5mg dose will start having better results for me as I have got a long way to go, and hopefully the skin reactions won't get worse."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I have been on Zepbound for two months and have lost only 9 pounds. I don't eat breakfast because I am not hungry; this has been a lifelong habit of mine. I am hungry at noon and eat more than I should. I have found that I am eating too fast, which is causing me to not have the weight loss that I would have if I ate slower. I have noticed that when I eat slower, I stop eating when I am halfway done with my meal. Hopefully, I can break a lifelong habit of eating fast. I have no side effects from the drug or overeating."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I have been losing about 2 lbs per week since I started using this. I was 170 lbs when I started and am down to 149 lbs over a period of 10 weeks. I was on the 2.5 mg for the first 4 weeks and then increased to 5 mg after that. It has taken away the 'food noise' where I am no longer preoccupied with what I'm going to eat and when. I have had a major decrease in appetite and there are days when I will only have a milkshake and not be hungry for anything else."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "16 weeks now on Zepbound. I am down 27 lbs. 5’5’ 170 lbs now 143 lbs. Had high cholesterol. This is a great product but you have to be ready to eat healthy too. Protein shake in the am. Protein bar in the afternoon. Try Fuffil bars. Walmart sells them; they are amazing. Salads, salmon, pork, chicken, veggies for dinner. Try Sobol; they have a great green smoothie and healthy fruit options. Kodiak products are good too. No side effects, but I chose to stay at 5 mg. No need to go up. I have so much energy now; work out 6 days a week. It’s a new me, and I’m loving it."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "This medication is incredible. My cholesterol and blood pressure were borderline. My doctor suggested losing weight (I have had a weight problem my entire life) which was an ongoing life pursuit for me. Nothing lasted. I would end up feeling worthless and depressed. I started this medication in January 2023. Today is April 25th and I have lost 36 pounds. My blood pressure is on its way down. My energy levels were stable throughout the day from week one so it is not just the weight loss, the medicine has helped with my ADHD and my depression. The only side effect I have experienced was constipation which I corrected by using small dosages of Miralax daily. I hope the FDA approves this medication for weight loss soon. It is a great tool to use along with healthy eating and exercise."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "So, I took one dose; unfortunately, my doctor screwed up and started me at 15mg. I've been in the ED for 36 hours and have had the worst 3 weeks of my life. This is not a review but a caution; check your script thoroughly, make sure you're taking the right dose. I need to purge this dose from my system and then start a 2.5mg dose."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "This medication has been a huge blessing in my life. Started at the lowest dose in August of 2022. Increased each month to the highest dose and have stayed there for 3 months now. It's May of 2023, and I have lost 80 pounds!! I was pre-diabetic, depressed, and hopeless. I've had a bit of stomach upset, diarrhea, heartburn, gas...nothing terrible. But I feel so much better. My joints don't hurt hardly at all, I have more confidence to go places and talk to people and do stuff outside and I even sleep better. I was looking into bariatric surgery before I found Mounjaro. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Started Zepbound 2.5 mg just 3 days ago. For the first time in my LIFE, I am eating to nourish my body, and not to satisfy hunger or cravings! Super excited to see how the weight will drop with new habits. Downside, I wasted a pen the very first time I injected because I didn't remove the grey closure. My fault for not thoroughly following the instructions but total bummer because the cost of this med is not cheap and the pharmacy says they can't fill an Rx for just one pen. It would be nice if the manufacturer of the drug would allow a single pen to be purchased for a lesser cost."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I've been taking Mounjaro 2.5mg for 3 weeks now, and have lost a total of 22 lbs. When they say it kills the appetite, they aren't kidding! I struggle to get 800 calories a day, and most of the time, those are either from salad dressings or protein shakes. The side effects aren't horrible, just not fun either. The first 3 days after my shot, I've got constipation and no appetite at all, those are the days when I'll have a single 32 mg protein shake for the day - if I take in anything else, I feel like I've overeaten and get bloated and slightly nauseous - not worth it. Day 4 I start to feel really queasy and can't even stomach my shake. Day 5 comes the diarrhea, for the entire day. Day 5 and 6 I feel pretty good. I know it's a lot, but the symptoms haven't really caused me to do anything different - other than consumption of food. I live off of Gin-Gin chews (ginger chews) for the symptoms, and they are enough to keep everything at a low-grade annoyance."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "Mounjaro has been a life saver for me. I am fortunate enough to not have many side effects. In the beginning I would get gas and stomach cramping, but I have learned what foods seem to cause that and now avoid them. It is so nice to be able to get through the day with my brain not constantly telling me to eat."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I am 74 years old. I was thin until I was 40. Started eating all the wrong food as my husband showed his love with food. I started Mounjaro last year in October. I didn't lose any weight for the first 2 months. I lost 5 lbs in the third month. Then I started losing more. I went from 175 to 115 by August. I never wake up at night and started having a problem making it to the bathroom to pee 3 times a week. I called my doctor and she lowered my Mounjaro dosage to 10 mg and I was fine. I stopped taking Mounjaro last month. Mounjaro makes you just not hungry. I learned to be picky about what I ate. I chose healthy food and feel lighter. I have learned to be healthy and thin. Yes, I am short at 5ft 3 inches and happy to have taken Mounjaro."

I have noticed I have no appetite. I'm going to keep a diary of what I eat so I make sure I get enough protein. Also, I started taking a gummy multivitamin. I will check back and keep you all apprised of my progress!"

Triglycerides are now normal at 125, were 250 to 700 for the last 20 years. Down 50 lbs in seven months from 300, without much effort. Pain is down/activity is up. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "The injection is great for weight loss. I lost 45 lbs in about 9 months. Don't taper up every month. Only go up and stay at that dose as long as possible. Involve a nutritionist or dietitian to help you from the beginning understand how to approach food so you can get off the med. I'm barely eating anything and when I tried stopping, the appetite comes back ferociously. I am now considered anorexic and having the nutritionist help me taper off the med. I pray it works and I don't put too much weight back on but can eat healthily."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "The medication works for a certain period of time and you will lose weight. The medication will have no effect after six months; however, you can maintain the weight that you lost. The problem with this medication is simply the unavailability of it. Most pharmacies are out of medications, and you have to wait a month or so to get it. This will cause you to gain all the weight you had lost. Not sure why the medication is not available and so difficult to get."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I have been on Mounjaro for 3 weeks. (2.5 mg injection) and It has helped me tremendously. I started out at 333 lbs. Now I weigh 319 lbs. I feel full for longer. Just feel tired a lot but I take vitamins and something for energy so that has helped. I take stool softeners so I won't get constipated. I had a slight headache for a couple of days when I first started. But not bad. I don't crave snacks, caffeine, or sweets like I use to on a daily basis. If I even overeat a little I feel miserable so I have to watch that. Managing your portions is very important. I'm doing better with that now. It doesn't take much for me to eat and drink to be satisfied. My BP has been good. My doctor said I may be able to get off BP meds soon. I am so grateful for this new med. Can't wait to move up to the next dosage."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I started Mounjaro for weight loss on 10/10/2023 and have lost 23 pounds as of 11/04/2023. I feel full most of the time, so my food intake has decreased. I am paying more attention to my eating habits. I eat more liquid meals with lots of protein, healthy snacks, and greatly lowered my salt intake while drinking lots of water daily. I have increased my exercise because I know I need to tone and firm along the journey. I feel so much better on the days that I exercise. My side effects have been nausea and extreme fullness. Sipping protein shakes and herbal tea with mint help soothe the stomach on those days of nausea. I highly recommend this drug for weight loss. I have seen others with amazing results."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I have had zero issues with the drug when I do right. If I overeat, I have diarrhea and sulfur burps for sure. When I start my day with protein and coffee, and drink lots of water, I have zero issues. But if I mess up like I did this week (ate breakfast, lunch, happy hour, snacked), I was up all night in a world of hurt, and I still haven't fully recovered. I haven't noticed a significant weight loss in 5 weeks (10 pounds), but it’s been steady. Just DO NOT OVEREAT and drink plenty of water."
