Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I have been taking Zepbound for seven and a half weeks now. I have lost 20 lbs! I am happy about that. I love how it takes that constant hunger I felt and cravings for junk are gone - that’s a miracle in itself. I did have some side effects of bloating, nausea, and sulfur burps and gas, but they do seem to taper off as your body adjusts to the dose. I am now up to a 5 mg dose but have opted to stay here for now because the nausea was increasing. I have no hunger at all. I will try it another month at 5 mg and if no relief in the nausea, I will ask to go back to the 2.5 dose. I continue to lose 2-3 pounds a week and it is adding up."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Started at the end of Jan 24. 4 weeks at 2.5mg, 8 weeks at 5mg due to lack of supply. I've had to seek alternatives due to the shortage of this drug, but it is worth it. I've lost 30 pounds in 14 weeks and moved up to 7.5mg on my last dose. The food noise is gone. The alcohol noise is gone. Other than some nausea and fatigue on shot day, side effects have been mild and easily manageable. I wish I'd have been able to start this long ago and gotten my life back. 30 pounds to go and I have no doubt I will be successful."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Been on Zepbound 7 weeks now. Lost about 22 lbs so far with no exercise. This stuff is amazing at curbing your appetite. But beware, stick to healthy foods and minimal portions because the nausea is otherworldly. I ate too much too late in the day yesterday. I had to leave work early today for the second time since being on this med. Light-headed, profuse sweating, chills, diarrhea almost non-stop and even puking. This med is a miracle, but you cannot mess around. Take it seriously. Cut back portions, minimal dairy, low sugar and don't eat too late. I'm excited to see how far I can go on this med. So thankful I have access."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I am in my 50s and I stayed on the 2.5 for 2 months and just began the 5 mg today. I had gastric sleeve exactly a year before covid, lucky me, huh? Working from home, no gym, already had depression, joint, and severe back issues. It all did not mix with slowing down and sitting down. I gained half of the weight I lost, and the high cholesterol returned. I started Zepbound on Feb 17, 2024, and lost 18 lbs by my first check-up on April 1. Very fast. My cholesterol dropped significantly. I do not have high blood pressure, but it was down too. All blood work is great. The only side effect is constipation that I fixed with Miralax. There are no food cravings or noise in my head. I get full very fast, although I have to remind myself to eat. I have dry mouth; I bought sugar-free popsicles to deal with that. I have been sleeping better, although I stay up late due to the energy it gives me."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I'm a 53-year-old male and my weight has gone up slowly with each passing year, so the ladies at my doctor's office were telling me how they all were losing weight by taking the Mounjaro shots. I was a little bit worried at first because of the thought of having to give myself a shot. I barely felt it, so I started out on the 2.5 shots, and the only side effect I got was the burping sulfur taste. This is the absolute best thing I could have done; it's lowered my blood pressure, and I'm off the meds for that. I sleep better and feel healthier, the only bad thing is my clothes don't fit. I'm feeling better about myself. I'm now on the 10mgs, but each month I went up to a stronger dose, but I'm going to stay with the 10s as a maintenance shot. I don't feel hungry at all; I have no cravings, I have to make myself eat, and when I do eat, it's just a little bit at a time. You don't want to overeat on this or you will be sorry. I highly recommend it. A big thanks to the makers of Mounjaro. I've lost 40 pounds in 4 months."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I’m an 6’4, 275 male, 62 years old - no diabetes or health issues, on no other meds. Obtained prescription via Dr and took first 2.5mg injection on Dec. 24. Lost 10 pounds with the first 3 shots, then Dr said I could go to 5mg (saved the last 2.5mg pen for future use) because weight loss had stopped. After starting mg, lost 2 pounds in 2 days - so combined weight loss using 2.5/5mg is now at 12 pounds in e weeks! No significant/terrible side effects except some constipation, intermittent fatigue, and minor chills at times (not a lot - could just be the cold weather). Ive yo-yoed up and down with weight for years. Because of my size, I can eat a lot of food - but this drug has significantly reduced my appetite and I have more energy overall. I can’t wait to see the results in a few more months. Zepbound has so far been perfect for me. I don’t mind the $550 price (with the Lilly savings card - has been hard to get CVS to make it work but that’s another story/nightmare)."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "After so many people I knew were doing so well on these injections, I started Zepbound 6 weeks ago. I was fine for 24 hours, then the side effects kicked in. I don't recall ever feeling this sick. Sulfur burps, churning stomach, started vomiting and diarrhea for 3 full days. I was sick for days after the first shot. I had no hunger while so very sick. Week 2 and 3 had no problems and the food cravings were gone. I was prepared to be very successful on this medication. Week 4 sulfur burps came back again, 24 hours after my injection. The same reactions returned but less violent; I was sick for 24 hours. Maybe a fluke? Week 5 and 24 hours in, same sulfur burps started it again: diarrhea, stomach spasms, and vomiting. Nope, off the Zepbound. I would rather stay fat than make myself sick with every dose. I never got beyond 2.5. I know this has been wonderful for some people; it's just not for me."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Absolutely life-changing. For the first time in my life, I'm satisfied by reasonable portions. I'm not always thinking about the next thing that I'll be eating. I'm able to feel and respond to my actual hunger cues without my scarcity brain taking over. Even if I wasn't losing weight, the relief of food obsession and binge eating disorder would be worth it. Four weeks in, down 13 lbs and very satisfied. Only side effect has been feeling cold and some mild constipation."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "This medication has given me my life back. I have been on the diet and workout train for the last 24 years, but nothing worked to lose a significant amount of weight. I did take one medication that worked temporarily years ago but left me feeling like trash, and once I was finished, the weight came back and then some. I have lost 90 lbs on Mounjaro over the last 14 months. Yes, my eating did improve because it quieted the food noise. I no longer starve myself throughout the day and then binge. Mounjaro has truly changed my life. I was giving up hope and falling into depression because nothing worked, and I didn't want to risk my life with surgery. Thank you to the makers of this medication. You have no idea how you are changing people with weight loss struggles. It's so much bigger than stop eating and working out more. I wish people would understand, and I wish insurance would approve this for weight loss. So many people are struggling. I never got real sick, sometimes a little nausea the day after."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I have never had anything like this in my life! I was always small and IBW until I went through menopause. Afterwards, I gained weight regardless of what I did. Nothing I tried, and no program I did helped. Once I reached a size 22 on my 5'4 frame and weighed almost 230 lb, I decided to do something else. By this time, I had also become "pre-diabetic" and was insulin resistant. I have been on Mounjario for 7 months and am now a size 8, down 65 pounds. My blood sugars are perfect, and I feel like my old self again! The journey has been effortless, and I enjoy the foods I like, but my body metabolizes it better. I have now switched to Wegovy since insurance only covers Mounjaro if you are a diabetic. I would stay on it forever, but cannot continue to pay almost $1100.00/month for it."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "So far, so good. Rarely get hungry and can't eat too much. Side effects: Heartburn, reflux, constipation, hair loss. I will have to weigh myself in the morning, but I am guessing I am down about 8 lbs. in 5 weeks. Just started on the 5 ml. No exercise yet. Wine and alcohol will definitely slow down the progress. Not a lot of cravings for junk. Every now and then I want something fried, but it will have you on the crapper by the next morning! Stay away from greasy food on this! And YES, the needle DOES hurt to me!"

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "After many years of trying to lose weight only to keep gaining, I finally had enough and decided to start Zepbound last December when I found out my insurance would pay for it. I started on 2.5mg like everyone else and increased the dose monthly. It’s June and I currently take 15mg. I have lost 55 pounds. I consistently lose 2 pounds per week. I had side effects as I titrated up. I no longer have any side effects. I am still losing weight and I have never felt better. I plan to stay on this long term. My doctor is on board with that plan as well. I would recommend this to anyone that has tried everything and has been unable to lose the weight. I am 50 years old and want to be able to stay active and have little to no pain. This medicine has changed my life."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Started using Zepbound in March 2024, at 2.5 mg. History of Obesity (BMI > 29) and Hypertension. Starting weight was 202 lb. and Blood Pressure Avg. of 153/90. As of today, May 24, 2024, currently on 10mg. My weight is currently 177 lb, having lost 25 lbs (12%) of starting weight. It was easy to learn how to use the injection pen, and it is a painless process. I am also exercising, running 4-5 days per week and weight training 2 days per week. Exercise is an important adjunct to weight loss treatment, and can help maintain muscle mass while losing weight. It is also imperative to eat foods rich in protein and green, leafy vegetables. Side effects have been minimal, with occasional constipation, which is remedied by using Miralax or similar products."

I had minimal side effects besides constipation and lost a total of 28 lbs. I did not wing off the medication and everything went fine, did blood work last week and everything was perfect compared to the year before. My weight has been steady thanks to the healthy habits I built during the medication."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "Benefits: Completely stopped the food noise and cravings for fatty and sweet foods, decreased appetite within the first 2 days of injection. Injection not painful at all, tiny needle. Side effects: feelings of fatigue for 2 or 3 days after injection days, can feel very bloated due to constipation. Feelings of a lump in the throat due to some acid reflux. Sometimes feel more emotional than normal. Increased periods, 2 periods within 1 month, very heavy and prolonged, appetite increased slightly on last 2 days before next injection due. Can feel shaky/weak if not eating enough calories due to decreased appetite. 1st month of use experience on 2.5mg."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "Ten days on Zepbound. Love this medication. The energy it gives you is amazing. 1st day injection in thigh developed bruise and slight nausea and headache. But no biggie. 2nd shot belly super easy. Takes away urge to eat. No more stomach grumbling when hungry either. I have a protein shake in the morning, mid-morning protein bar, little bites throughout the morning. Small lunch and salmon or chicken for dinner. Veggies and fruit are important. No issue with bathroom. I take a fiber gummy and multivitamin daily. Treadmill and gym. After showering, I've been using lots of lotion on skin, massaging in. You'll be fine. Smart choices in foods. Yogurt gave me nausea as did tuna with mayonnaise. 6 lbs so far."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I have been on Zepbound for 6 weeks. (4 weeks 2.5) (2 weeks at 5.0) I have lost 23 lbs. 307-284 I ride bike/treadmill and lift weights. I eat 2300 calories a day. If I happen to eat too much, I don't seem to notice. But what I do notice is I don't crave food like before. Before, I used to still be hungry after dinner. Not anymore. That part of my brain that was ravenous for more is gone."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I am just starting this process. It has been 2 1/2 weeks on 2.5 ml. I have lost 9 lbs. I'm 55 years old, 5'7", 182 starting weight. Menopause kicked my butt; I could never lose more than 5 lbs. Negative side effects: headaches (which I've been prone to or sensitive to in the past), sometimes several times a day. I had mild diarrhea the first week and am now one week in with constipation. Mounjaro seemed to reduce my internal stomach size enormously. I don't have to remind myself to eat, like other people have said, but my body is on a delay and feels full 90 percent of the time - like I don't wake up ready for breakfast; it takes two hours to want to eat. What I do eat is a fraction of what I used to eat. For example, a small soup is plenty for lunch, yogurt for breakfast. It's definitely working for me, very happy. Good luck to everyone trying this:)"

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "I originally started the Zepbound shot at the end of this past January. I weighed a total of 202 lbs when I started it. That would be about 3-4 months ago. I was very self-conscious, I didn't want to take any pictures of myself, I felt disgusted by myself, I always brought myself down, etc. But now, now I weigh 154 lbs. I'm at the 10 mg of the Zepbound. I started off as the lowest and I'm still not at the highest, to be honest. I lost about 50 pounds in the last 4 months! I researched it and it'll take 16 months to lose about 50 pounds for a normal person who doesn't take anything. And I did it in 4 months with that shot! I never thought I would get to this weight, to be honest. In the beginning, I was going to the YMCA to work out every week to put in the extra work, etc. At first, I started losing like a pound a day, not even kidding, sometimes 2 lbs a day. Then it went to a pound every couple days, and it would vary."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) "5’ 8” and 272 was my starting stats. I did four weeks of 2.5 then went up to 5.0. I am only on my 6th week (4 2.5s and 2 5.0s) and I have already lost 30 pounds. Now, at 242, I am looking to take off another 30-50 pounds. I am trying to be put on a list to have a transplant and have to lose a certain amount of weight to make the list. I give the medication a 100% A+. If you need to drop weight, this is a great medication. Side effects: Constipation. Drink as much water as you can and be prepared to take laxatives to poo. I’m talking rock pebbles harder than pleasing a Gold-digger on a date; you’ll definitely have to take some laxatives to poo. I suggest flavoring your water. It helps. Candy: You will crave sugary candy like Gobstoppers, Sour Patch Kids, Skittles; pretty much anything you can get your hands on. Try dark chocolate almonds and just small nibbles of candy when you get really, really sleepy. Bottom line: It works! It's worth the hard rock poo."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I have been diabetic and overweight for 20 or more years, along with several health issues and various medications. Thank God for my doctor and Mounjaro. I started at 2.5 and 204 lbs in March, with few side effects. It is easy to use. I am now on 5.0 and 64 lbs lighter, and my A1c is at 5.7. I can breathe better and go for walks more. I crave no sugar or carbs. I was miserable with no hope in sight. I will be going on the 7.5 with hopefully no side effects. Thank you Mounjaro and my doctor for giving me my life back."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I have been on Mounjaro for just two weeks. I've lost 5 pounds without trying. While that's nice, I am posting a very early review to let other newbies know that other than some indigestion the first two days I haven't had any side effects. I had major constipation on Ozempic. I find taking a : daily stool softener, stay hydrated, take a Metamucil tablet daily, and take a daily prebiotic (get the refrigerated one in your pharmacy as it has live cultures. Keep it refrigerated!) I'm on 5mg, but, moving up to 7.5 next week. Will go to 10mg if no supply of 7.5. My pharmacist said to get my order for the 7.5mg in at least 7 days early so they can get it in on time. They don't stock it, but, get it on overnight. Just FYI, after using Ozempic and Mounjaro, I weigh less than I did 10 years ago. I've gone down 4 sizes. 4 inches off my waist since Christmas! Now a petite XL rapidly headed to petite L."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I am 5'2", 41 years old, started taking the shot in November of 2023. Weighed in at 293, cried all the way home. Within a week lost 16 pounds. Here I am, almost a complete 4 months later, and down 72 pounds. Best thing I have ever done. No more snoring or waking up all hours of the night, and I have so much more energy. Yes, I have some constipation, but it is a small price to pay to feel so much better! Next month I will be on the highest dose. So, from here on out, it's up to me to keep it moving with healthy activity and diet."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) "I just wanted to give an update on my success on Mounjaro. I've been on it for 18 months. I continue to lose weight slowly. No problem with the shot. I've lost a total of 118 pounds. I went from a size 22 to a size 2. I do Weight Watchers app online for the accountability. And walk 5-8 miles a day. My doctor thinks I should be her spokesperson in her office for the new patients going on it to give them the motivation. But can't with HIPAA. I'm okay with her giving them my name and everything but she can't. It's funny when I'm out in public and people are not sure if it's me or not. But it sure makes me feel good. I just know when people do ask how I've lost weight and I tell them. I say with diet, exercise, and I have diabetes. I also take Mounjaro but it's not a miracle drug."
