For Insomnia "I took 1 (one) 25 mg tablet. I haven't been sleeping well, so I thought I would try this. I did fall asleep within about 30 minutes. I awoke about 6 hours later, and my room was literally spinning. I was so dizzy feeling I could barely get to the bathroom and then back to bed. I fell back to sleep quickly, which for me is unusual. I slept for another 3-4 hours. When I awoke, I was still quite dizzy feeling, but not like when I had woken up previously. That was 5 days ago. I have had dizziness since I took that one pill and have not taken any more. I must be extremely sensitive to this medication. I have also had some nausea this whole time."

Doxylamine for Insomnia "I’ve been taking Unisom Sleep Gels for 3 to 4 years every night. I was first suggested them by my OB/GYN while I was pregnant for nausea and for insomnia. I have no side effects while taking it. When I try to stop, I get serious nausea, cold sweats, and headaches, it’s like really bad."

For Insomnia "I was prescribed this for all-day nausea during my first trimester of pregnancy -- I really don't think it did anything helpful at all. They also had me try it in combo with Vit B6 - which I think actually made my nausea worse. To be fair -- I tried several other things, including ginger, sea bands, diet changes, and nothing helped me. Unisom may have helped me fall asleep?? -- but that wasn't really an issue anyway. I do think I was more tired during the day when taking it (could have been because I was miserable from the nausea too though). Maybe worth a try -- but not helpful at all for me."

"Works great for pregnancy. I’m in my first trimester, and I’ve been feeling super nauseous. My doctor recommended I take it whenever I need to without exceeding 4 a day. Starting in the morning before I get out of bed. It takes 30 minutes to kick in, and my stomach feels way better after. Definitely recommend."

Doxylamine for Insomnia "I took it for nausea back in 2020 and also to help me sleep. It worked great until it didn’t work at all anymore at 25 mg. I tried 50 one night and felt like I was going to pass out. Threw them away. Now having severe insomnia and desperate, been on prescription meds. I tried this again, 25 mg, and it made me feel so weird, made me not be able to feel myself breathe, and I was up for hours for most of the night until that all could calm down. I will be throwing it right in the trash. I normally cannot take antihistamines or Benadryl or anything like that because they all make me feel similar and make my heart race. But since I was okay with Unisom in 2020, I thought I’d give it another go. This really sucks. I’m exhausted."

For Insomnia "I took 1/2 a pill, cause I always wake up tired in the morning and have dreams. I woke up dizzy, nauseous, and groggy all day. It's 2 pm and I'm still not well and now can't go to work."
Doxylamine for Insomnia "I took 50 mg for sleep and nausea because I'm pregnant. It helped with the nausea, sleep was another story. I felt relaxed 20 minutes after the dose. Then, I got a burst of energy and had a sleepless night. It felt like I drank an energy drink."
