For Insomnia "Great for insomnia. Best to be used pulsating (one day on, one day off), but can also be used day after day. No annoying side effects (only dry mouth, but when you sleep, you don't notice) and very effective. No addiction, no withdrawal."

For Insomnia "After a few nights of waking really early and not being able to get back to sleep, I was given these from the pharmacist. A very traumatic experience followed. Paranoia, feeling of being disconnected from reality, feeling physically weird, very little sleep, headache, dry mouth. Truly awful experience."

Doxylamine for Insomnia "I've always had a hard time falling and staying asleep. Seems like I've tried everything, including meditation, sleep noise apps, music, melatonin, making the room freezing, warming the room up, and reducing caffeine and stimulants before bed. Bought some Unisom to see if it would help. Taking as directed, 1 pill at bedtime. Still takes me a good hour of tossing and turning, and then I'm awake every hour or two all night and wake up with a dry mouth. Maybe I'll go back to 10 mg melatonin because that seemed to work best."

Doxylamine for Insomnia "Used as directed to help me get to sleep, took the gel pill, made me even more awake. Tried the other Unisom with the other sleep aid medication, just made me dizzy, with dry mouth, and kept me awake. These are a joke!!!!!"

For Insomnia "Helped me get to sleep, but caused a dry mouth and nose and made me feel generally unwell in the morning, although it took me a while to realize because I am unwell at the moment anyway. Realized this week that I felt worse each morning after taking it, and better when I hadn’t. This was capped off by me having a nasty visual disturbance with the room spinning and almost vomiting today when I woke up. This may be okay for occasional use, to break a cycle of not getting to sleep, but beware of taking it several nights in a row, and don’t rely on feeling good the next morning, even if you have slept."

For Insomnia "Took one 25 mg tablet and ended up in the ER with dry mouth and brain fogginess. Doctor gave me a hydrocortisone injection. Heart rate was high, and I had to do blood tests. Doc sent me home, but a couple hours later, I woke up with a fast heart rate, 143 bpm, dizzy and blurred vision, and went back to the hospital where they gave me a beta blocker to slow down my heart rate. Since then, I have heart palpitations and anxiety. Wish I never took this tablet. Heart tests all came back normal."

For Insomnia "Absolutely horrible experience. Made me have to go five times during the night. Could not fall into deep sleep, kept waking up over and over. It's morning, and I am still feeling the effects of it two hours after taking. Dry mouth and foggy head. I took 25 mg - 1 pill, which the package recommended for adults. I will be throwing away the rest of the pills."

Doxylamine for Insomnia "I hate this medication, Unisom. I took 1/2 pill, woke up with a stiff back, dry mouth, dizzy, off balance. I'm throwing it out."
Doxylamine for Insomnia "I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant. I've been having some trouble sleeping, so I decided to take Unisom. I've never felt so restless in my life! I'm wide awake, dry mouth, awful taste in my mouth. I think it had the opposite effect on me. I feel sleepy but just cannot fall asleep. Very frustrating, gonna have to find another solution."
