"For the most part, it has been fine, but 2 months in, at the injection site, I would get an almost mosquito bite-looking type mark, but it was hard, red, itched, and sometimes warm. It started 2 months in, so it was odd. The pharmacist did not hear of that and is looking into it. The other thing I just noticed, as the weather has started getting colder, is I have the chills constantly, and I never do. But other than that, it has worked great for me, nothing I can't deal with. I dropped 25 lbs in 3 1/2 months, cravings for sweets are mostly gone, and I don't have late-night munchies. I started at 7.5 I believe, and now I am at 10. My husband is diabetic, so he does my shots for me. I'm not fond of them. Otherwise, it's fine. Every 7 days. But you also have to eat right and keep moving, not just sit at home-move somehow."

"I started Zepbound 2.5 mg back in December 2023. I didn’t have any issues from the 4 weeks I was on it, once I went to the 5 mg, I started to get nauseous, but nothing I couldn’t tolerate. By March, I had lost 30 lbs. I started at 270 lbs. Unfortunately, at the end of March, there was a shortage, and it was impossible to get it anywhere. But I kept up on exercising and watching what I ate until the shortage was over. In June, I was finally able to get back on Zepbound 5 mg, and so far, I have lost an additional 20 lbs. I am weighing 220 lbs and feeling great! Not gonna lie, after being off of it for a few months, I have been really nauseous."

"I began Zepbound in March 2024. Previously to Wegovy, but weight loss had stalled on 1.7, and higher doses had lots of quality of life side effects that prompted a change. Began 2.5 Zepbound, and weight loss has been very slow. Have lost 10 lbs since March. Currently on 10 and moving up to 12.5 next week. I have had minimal discomfort on Zepbound. Food noise has subsided. Appetite is very manageable. The past two weeks, I've had injection site redness. Have been injecting in my stomach until this week, thinking the belly area may need a rest. Injected in my thigh and noticed today that the area has a quarter-size red spot. Zepbound has been a painless medication to inject. I was concerned about injecting near my belly button, as the last medicine was uncomfortable. Overall, good experience as far as side effects go, but weight loss has been slow. I took Wegovy from March 2023 to December 2023 and lost 60 lbs. I need/want to lose an additional 40 lbs. I'm a 62-year-old CF, beginning weight was 264 lbs, current weight 194."

"67 yr old male. Started at 270. Took approximately 5-6 months to drop down to 220. Average weight loss was about 10 pounds per month. Started at 2.5 mg (weekly) and gradually went up to 15 mg. Now that I have reached my goal, I have reduced the dosage to 10 mg every 10 days for 6 more dosages. The biggest challenge was the constipation. I finally found an herbal supplement (Dr. Schulze’s Intestinal Formula #1 on Amazon) that worked amazingly! With rapid weight loss, my blood pressure has reduced to almost borderline low. But with hydration and weight now stabilizing, it is normalizing at about 110/70. I am concerned about the potential long-term side effects that are now popping up… not sure if they are legitimate or not. But too late now. Working out consistently and eating small portions will help me to keep from bouncing back up in weight. Off Zepbound completely now…and have been able to stay near 220. Drink water! Occasional Tums were needed during the first couple of months."

"4 weeks in and minor small stool issues. I workout daily and no head hunger. I’m on the lowest dose. Monday is my day, and it is Thursday, and Wednesday developed flu symptoms and still have them. Not sure if side effect or flu."

"I haven't started taking the medication because it scares me of the side effects, how it says it can cause tumor, and you can't take it with other medications over the counter. It's just the warning labels. I think that is scaring me about taking the medication, but overall I heard it gave people good results."

"I started taking this in March 2024. I've had some weight loss (about 30 pounds), but not as much as I anticipated. I occasionally experience nausea and stomach pain, but it's usually after a very fatty meal (avoiding those types of foods minimizes this symptom for me). When I reached the 10 ml dose, I began having an itchy, raised red area surrounding the injection site that dissipates by the end of the week. I had one shot that didn't dispense the needle until I held it up to inspect it. I am happy I started this medication because I did lose weight (and hopefully will continue to) and was able to stop taking metformin! The worst thing about taking this medication is trying to get the prescription filled. I have had more issues trying to get my refills for Zepbound than any prescriptions for opioid pain medication (which I have taken in the past post-surgery due to an allergy to acetaminophen). At first, it was supply issues. Now it's preauths and difficulty staying at a certain dose."

"Made my anxiety more intense, bad nausea, lightheaded, dizzy, not feeling like myself, not interested in anything, depressed. The only good thing was I was losing weight, very slowly but was losing. I decided to stop Zepbound because I needed to feel like me again and not a nervous, anxious zombie."

"First things first. I'm a 40-year-old woman. My height is 5'9", and my starting weight was 214. During my first month on Zepbound 2.5 mg, I experienced fatigue, dry mouth, and slight constipation. I'm on my second month dosage of 5 mg now, and I'm experiencing nausea and migraines. This is my sixth injection, and the weight fell off during the first month, and now I'm at a standstill. I'm weighing in at 195 for the last 2 weeks. During my first month, I had no carbs at all. I made sure I had at least 120 g of protein a day, and I weight trained four times a week, getting my goal of 10,000 steps a day. I haven't kept that same training routine these past two weeks, which is why I probably haven't lost any weight. I'd say the medicine really works. I'm not looking to stay on long-term. Since I hit 40, I've struggled with weight, perimenopause, etc. This has been a game changer."

"Started taking in a 2.5 dose. 1st month at 2.5. 2nd month at 5. During 2nd month, noticed hand knuckles tender and back of hand and feet seemed super sensitive, and extreme sweating! I started dropping weight slowly and continue to lose. Awesome appetite control! Started 7.5 this month - I am going to stay on 7.5 for a while. Hope to see comments from others."

"I have had great success with Zepbound, currently on 15 mg. Been on it for 6 months, 67 lbs down. Went from a size 20 pants to a 12. I have had some nausea and vomiting. It’s easy to use. I’m squeamish when it comes to shots, so for the first 2 months, my husband had to inject me. I got used to it and can now do it on my own. I feel so much better about myself and so much healthier."

"Been using since September 1. Have had to continue ramping up dosage level and now at first week of 10 ml level. 2.5 ml level really had no effect... starting at 5 ml would have been better. I assume they start at the really low dose in case of adverse reaction. Lost about 3% body weight to date. Effect on appetite is more pronounced in the days immediately after injection and fades over the week. Appetite plummets within 24 hours of weekly injection. Hoping this new dosage level has full week effect."

"I've only been on it for 5 days. I had heartburn for the first few days, but that's better now. Yesterday, the fourth day, midafternoon, I started getting very cold. I'm never cold, and it’s summer, about 78 degrees outside. I don't have air conditioning. I got so cold that I had to take a hot shower. Then I had to turn on my electric blanket and lay in bed until I warmed up. I started to go back to normal temperature after an hour. I find it difficult to eat. I'm not hungry but have drunk protein shakes. I felt a little nauseous the first day but it passed. I'm hopeful it will help me. So far, my blood sugars are about the same and haven't gone down."
