"Started at the end of Jan 24. 4 weeks at 2.5mg, 8 weeks at 5mg due to lack of supply. I've had to seek alternatives due to the shortage of this drug, but it is worth it. I've lost 30 pounds in 14 weeks and moved up to 7.5mg on my last dose. The food noise is gone. The alcohol noise is gone. Other than some nausea and fatigue on shot day, side effects have been mild and easily manageable. I wish I'd have been able to start this long ago and gotten my life back. 30 pounds to go and I have no doubt I will be successful."

"I’m an 6’4, 275 male, 62 years old - no diabetes or health issues, on no other meds. Obtained prescription via Dr and took first 2.5mg injection on Dec. 24. Lost 10 pounds with the first 3 shots, then Dr said I could go to 5mg (saved the last 2.5mg pen for future use) because weight loss had stopped. After starting mg, lost 2 pounds in 2 days - so combined weight loss using 2.5/5mg is now at 12 pounds in e weeks! No significant/terrible side effects except some constipation, intermittent fatigue, and minor chills at times (not a lot - could just be the cold weather). Ive yo-yoed up and down with weight for years. Because of my size, I can eat a lot of food - but this drug has significantly reduced my appetite and I have more energy overall. I can’t wait to see the results in a few more months. Zepbound has so far been perfect for me. I don’t mind the $550 price (with the Lilly savings card - has been hard to get CVS to make it work but that’s another story/nightmare)."

"I am in my 50s and I stayed on the 2.5 for 2 months and just began the 5 mg today. I had gastric sleeve exactly a year before covid, lucky me, huh? Working from home, no gym, already had depression, joint, and severe back issues. It all did not mix with slowing down and sitting down. I gained half of the weight I lost, and the high cholesterol returned. I started Zepbound on Feb 17, 2024, and lost 18 lbs by my first check-up on April 1. Very fast. My cholesterol dropped significantly. I do not have high blood pressure, but it was down too. All blood work is great. The only side effect is constipation that I fixed with Miralax. There are no food cravings or noise in my head. I get full very fast, although I have to remind myself to eat. I have dry mouth; I bought sugar-free popsicles to deal with that. I have been sleeping better, although I stay up late due to the energy it gives me."

"Absolutely life-changing. For the first time in my life, I'm satisfied by reasonable portions. I'm not always thinking about the next thing that I'll be eating. I'm able to feel and respond to my actual hunger cues without my scarcity brain taking over. Even if I wasn't losing weight, the relief of food obsession and binge eating disorder would be worth it. Four weeks in, down 13 lbs and very satisfied. Only side effect has been feeling cold and some mild constipation."

"After so many people I knew were doing so well on these injections, I started Zepbound 6 weeks ago. I was fine for 24 hours, then the side effects kicked in. I don't recall ever feeling this sick. Sulfur burps, churning stomach, started vomiting and diarrhea for 3 full days. I was sick for days after the first shot. I had no hunger while so very sick. Week 2 and 3 had no problems and the food cravings were gone. I was prepared to be very successful on this medication. Week 4 sulfur burps came back again, 24 hours after my injection. The same reactions returned but less violent; I was sick for 24 hours. Maybe a fluke? Week 5 and 24 hours in, same sulfur burps started it again: diarrhea, stomach spasms, and vomiting. Nope, off the Zepbound. I would rather stay fat than make myself sick with every dose. I never got beyond 2.5. I know this has been wonderful for some people; it's just not for me."

"So far, so good. Rarely get hungry and can't eat too much. Side effects: Heartburn, reflux, constipation, hair loss. I will have to weigh myself in the morning, but I am guessing I am down about 8 lbs. in 5 weeks. Just started on the 5 ml. No exercise yet. Wine and alcohol will definitely slow down the progress. Not a lot of cravings for junk. Every now and then I want something fried, but it will have you on the crapper by the next morning! Stay away from greasy food on this! And YES, the needle DOES hurt to me!"

"After many years of trying to lose weight only to keep gaining, I finally had enough and decided to start Zepbound last December when I found out my insurance would pay for it. I started on 2.5mg like everyone else and increased the dose monthly. It’s June and I currently take 15mg. I have lost 55 pounds. I consistently lose 2 pounds per week. I had side effects as I titrated up. I no longer have any side effects. I am still losing weight and I have never felt better. I plan to stay on this long term. My doctor is on board with that plan as well. I would recommend this to anyone that has tried everything and has been unable to lose the weight. I am 50 years old and want to be able to stay active and have little to no pain. This medicine has changed my life."

"I have been on Zepbound for 6 weeks. (4 weeks 2.5) (2 weeks at 5.0) I have lost 23 lbs. 307-284 I ride bike/treadmill and lift weights. I eat 2300 calories a day. If I happen to eat too much, I don't seem to notice. But what I do notice is I don't crave food like before. Before, I used to still be hungry after dinner. Not anymore. That part of my brain that was ravenous for more is gone."

"I originally started the Zepbound shot at the end of this past January. I weighed a total of 202 lbs when I started it. That would be about 3-4 months ago. I was very self-conscious, I didn't want to take any pictures of myself, I felt disgusted by myself, I always brought myself down, etc. But now, now I weigh 154 lbs. I'm at the 10 mg of the Zepbound. I started off as the lowest and I'm still not at the highest, to be honest. I lost about 50 pounds in the last 4 months! I researched it and it'll take 16 months to lose about 50 pounds for a normal person who doesn't take anything. And I did it in 4 months with that shot! I never thought I would get to this weight, to be honest. In the beginning, I was going to the YMCA to work out every week to put in the extra work, etc. At first, I started losing like a pound a day, not even kidding, sometimes 2 lbs a day. Then it went to a pound every couple days, and it would vary."

"Ten days on Zepbound. Love this medication. The energy it gives you is amazing. 1st day injection in thigh developed bruise and slight nausea and headache. But no biggie. 2nd shot belly super easy. Takes away urge to eat. No more stomach grumbling when hungry either. I have a protein shake in the morning, mid-morning protein bar, little bites throughout the morning. Small lunch and salmon or chicken for dinner. Veggies and fruit are important. No issue with bathroom. I take a fiber gummy and multivitamin daily. Treadmill and gym. After showering, I've been using lots of lotion on skin, massaging in. You'll be fine. Smart choices in foods. Yogurt gave me nausea as did tuna with mayonnaise. 6 lbs so far."

"Zepbound (tirzepatide) is amazing - if you are not losing much on semaglutide, see if your doctor will let you try tirzepatide. I’ve been on Zepbound seven months and I’m down 55 pounds. Took 2.5mg the first month and then spent 5 months on 5mg. Just moved up to 7.5mg this month and it has totally killed my appetite. Main side effect for me is fatigue, especially the day of the shot and the next couple of days. I plan to stay on 7.5 until I reach my goal weight and then go on maintenance. I will have to keep taking it - otherwise it is likely I will gain all the weight back. Yes, it is expensive but worth it."

"Started using Zepbound in March 2024, at 2.5 mg. History of Obesity (BMI > 29) and Hypertension. Starting weight was 202 lb. and Blood Pressure Avg. of 153/90. As of today, May 24, 2024, currently on 10mg. My weight is currently 177 lb, having lost 25 lbs (12%) of starting weight. It was easy to learn how to use the injection pen, and it is a painless process. I am also exercising, running 4-5 days per week and weight training 2 days per week. Exercise is an important adjunct to weight loss treatment, and can help maintain muscle mass while losing weight. It is also imperative to eat foods rich in protein and green, leafy vegetables. Side effects have been minimal, with occasional constipation, which is remedied by using Miralax or similar products."

"5’ 8” and 272 was my starting stats. I did four weeks of 2.5 then went up to 5.0. I am only on my 6th week (4 2.5s and 2 5.0s) and I have already lost 30 pounds. Now, at 242, I am looking to take off another 30-50 pounds. I am trying to be put on a list to have a transplant and have to lose a certain amount of weight to make the list. I give the medication a 100% A+. If you need to drop weight, this is a great medication. Side effects: Constipation. Drink as much water as you can and be prepared to take laxatives to poo. I’m talking rock pebbles harder than pleasing a Gold-digger on a date; you’ll definitely have to take some laxatives to poo. I suggest flavoring your water. It helps. Candy: You will crave sugary candy like Gobstoppers, Sour Patch Kids, Skittles; pretty much anything you can get your hands on. Try dark chocolate almonds and just small nibbles of candy when you get really, really sleepy. Bottom line: It works! It's worth the hard rock poo."

"50-year-old female with 100 lbs to lose and PCOS. Been on Zepbound for 6 weeks (just took 7th shot). Minimal side effects. Occasional nausea, headaches, and sore muscles, usually the day after injection, but they go away by the next day. Taking the 5 mg dose right now. I have been getting large injection site rashes with itching, burning, and swelling with the last 3 doses. The swelling and itching go down after 3-4 days, but the red spots are still visible from all 3 of the previous doses. I didn't get this with the 2.5mg dose at all. Hoping it was just this last box of the medicine and the next will be better. I have only lost 5 lbs in the 6 weeks I have been on it, which has been very disappointing. It has lowered my blood pressure though. It was on the high side of normal before, now it's perfect. Really hoping that going up to the 7.5mg dose will start having better results for me as I have got a long way to go, and hopefully the skin reactions won't get worse."

"I have been on Zepbound for two months and have lost only 9 pounds. I don't eat breakfast because I am not hungry; this has been a lifelong habit of mine. I am hungry at noon and eat more than I should. I have found that I am eating too fast, which is causing me to not have the weight loss that I would have if I ate slower. I have noticed that when I eat slower, I stop eating when I am halfway done with my meal. Hopefully, I can break a lifelong habit of eating fast. I have no side effects from the drug or overeating."

"16 weeks now on Zepbound. I am down 27 lbs. 5’5’ 170 lbs now 143 lbs. Had high cholesterol. This is a great product but you have to be ready to eat healthy too. Protein shake in the am. Protein bar in the afternoon. Try Fuffil bars. Walmart sells them; they are amazing. Salads, salmon, pork, chicken, veggies for dinner. Try Sobol; they have a great green smoothie and healthy fruit options. Kodiak products are good too. No side effects, but I chose to stay at 5 mg. No need to go up. I have so much energy now; work out 6 days a week. It’s a new me, and I’m loving it."

"So, I took one dose; unfortunately, my doctor screwed up and started me at 15mg. I've been in the ED for 36 hours and have had the worst 3 weeks of my life. This is not a review but a caution; check your script thoroughly, make sure you're taking the right dose. I need to purge this dose from my system and then start a 2.5mg dose."

"Started Zepbound 2.5 mg just 3 days ago. For the first time in my LIFE, I am eating to nourish my body, and not to satisfy hunger or cravings! Super excited to see how the weight will drop with new habits. Downside, I wasted a pen the very first time I injected because I didn't remove the grey closure. My fault for not thoroughly following the instructions but total bummer because the cost of this med is not cheap and the pharmacy says they can't fill an Rx for just one pen. It would be nice if the manufacturer of the drug would allow a single pen to be purchased for a lesser cost."

"I have just started Zepbound 2.5 - 3 days ago. The injection did not hurt - in fact, I didn't feel it at all. I have not had any side effects that I noticed. I have noticed I have no appetite. I'm going to keep a diary of what I eat so I make sure I get enough protein. Also, I started taking a gummy multivitamin. I will check back and keep you all apprised of my progress!"

"I have had zero issues with the drug when I do right. If I overeat, I have diarrhea and sulfur burps for sure. When I start my day with protein and coffee, and drink lots of water, I have zero issues. But if I mess up like I did this week (ate breakfast, lunch, happy hour, snacked), I was up all night in a world of hurt, and I still haven't fully recovered. I haven't noticed a significant weight loss in 5 weeks (10 pounds), but it’s been steady. Just DO NOT OVEREAT and drink plenty of water."

"I am 64, 5’2” tall and weighed 210 when I started Zepbound with 2.5 mg on January 15, 2024. I had no side effects with 2.5 and lost 12 pounds the first month. I went up to 5.0 ml and still no side effects but lost only 5 pounds that month. Went up to 7.5 and started having mild nausea, diarrhea, and indigestion. Lost another 10 pounds that month. I'm on week 2 of 10 ml. Side effects are much worse. I've lost a total of 35 pounds but in week two my stomach physically hurts, nausea is much worse and so is diarrhea. I think I will not be able to complete the next two doses on 10 ml so looking to drop down to 5.0 for maintenance and hopefully continued weight loss."

"I have been taking Zepbound for about 3 months now and have lost 18 lbs. The experience has been mostly unpleasant. The gastric issues that accompany the medication are almost unbearable. The desire to eat did not go away, and I mostly did not eat because I was always so nauseated and experiencing acid reflux. Every day has been miserable. It did make you feel good but not in a satisfied way, just full like you ate way too much to the point of feeling sick. It feels great to have lost 18 lbs, but I will probably not continue the shots due to the gastric issues."

"Since starting Zepbound 13 weeks ago to shed 60 pounds, I've gradually increased from 2.5 mg to 10 mg. It's effective, but sleepless nights have become my unwelcome companions, especially on the higher doses. Heartburn and that uncomfortable chest sensation are no picnic either. Despite dropping 30 pounds, I feel drained—fatigue, dizziness, and concentration issues plague me. To tackle these side effects, I'll either stick to 10 mg or drop to 7.5 mg. But with a $1,000 monthly price tag and the hassle of hunting down my prescription, quitting Zepbound crosses my mind. Yet, the thought of returning to the weight loss battle isn't enticing either. Swapping out heavy meals for light options like chicken and soups helps ease discomfort, but what I really crave is a solid night's sleep. I'm giving it one last shot, tweaking my diet and powering through my remaining doses before deciding—is it worth it?"

"I started Zepbound about a week ago. Only had 1 injection, but for me personally, as soon as I did the injection, I immediately began to feel nauseated and dizzy for a good couple of hours, but then it subsided. I did have some anxiety about the side effects, and sometimes when I do have anxiety, I will feel nauseous and dizzy as well, so I really can’t tell if that was from the injection or anxiety. Either way, it stopped. Since then, I barely eat. I NEVER feel hungry at all, and when I do, I eat hardly a handful of something before I feel full and stop eating. I don’t know if that’s normal. I’m supposed to get 60 grams of protein a day. I drink 2 of those 30 grams of the Premier protein shakes, not my favorite, but it will do, and that keeps me feeling full for pretty much the ENTIRE day. I don’t snack at all anymore. Again, I’ve only had 1 injection but have noticed some immediate changes."

"Started out great. Moved to 5.0 and had AWFUL vomiting on day 3 after injection. Dr. tried to move me back to 2.5 but Rx store was unable to get it. Went 5 weeks before it was restocked. Started 2.5 again with 0 effect. And I mean zero. Moved to 5.0 and the nausea is there, but so far, no vomiting. What concerns me is that I have suddenly been struggling with an elevated pulse and higher than normal BP. Wasn't an issue before, so not sure if it's related or incidental. May stop it because I just don't feel good. In addition over the 5 months of on and off again, I am down 4 pounds...and following a reasonable diet plan. Discouraged."
