Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started off taking Ozempic then switched over to Wegovy. I only experienced mild side effects such as nausea and headaches in the beginning of starting these meds. This medication worked for me and helped me lose over 60 lbs. In the past, I have tried numerous diets, supplements, bariatric surgery, and programs to help me lose weight and all failed. This is the only medication that truly worked for me and I'm so glad that I was able to tolerate it. Life-changing experience for me."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm on my 13th week at 1mg now. I love it. Yes, I was nauseated at first, but the quick weight loss results made me want to continue. At this dosage, I am not really hungry for food, and if I do feel hungry, it doesn't take much food for me to feel satisfied. I have really cut my portions and also use high fiber, high protein foods. Constipation is real; people, laxatives help. I make good food choices now and am down 25 lbs. I want to keep going, but the coupon has run out, and now my out-of-pocket cost with insurance is around $900. I am so disappointed to have to stop and worried about gaining back or not losing anymore. Novo really needs to make this affordable. The price is ridiculous, and millions of people are dying from comorbidities to obesity every day. I have high-end insurance, and still cannot afford the copays."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I've been using Ozempic for 18 months. A1c has dropped from 8.1 to 6.0. Weight dropped from 195 lbs to 157 lbs. Minor side effects for the first two weeks. I dropped most of the weight within 4 months and my A1c went down to 6.3 in those 4 months. My doctor decided to take me off Ozempic after 6 months to see if I'd stabilized, but within 4 weeks, my A1c was back in the upper 7s. I'm staying on Ozempic for now. Great medication but a ridiculous price."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Just finished the last shot of 2.4 mg pack. I’ve lost 27 pounds and literally do not think about food. No cravings, and I eat normally (albeit smaller amounts). Some side effects at the beginning but nothing terrible and they all eventually stopped. If you can afford it - this is a life changer."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started Wegovy on May 11th at 0.25. I'm on my 4th injection of 0.5 and moving up to 1.0 next week. Started at 228 lbs. I'm down to 213. No side effects. I have to eat a small dinner and not too close to bedtime or I get heartburn. Slow and steady wins the race. Wegovy is the most effective appetite suppressant I have ever used, and best of all, no jitters or sleeplessness."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "When I first started the 3mg of Rybelsus, the nausea for the first 3 weeks was nearly unbearable. However, like magic, around day 21, it stopped. I don’t feel as full as I did at the beginning now that I’m starting my second month of 7mg. However, I continue to lose weight with diet and exercise. If you’re struggling at the beginning - hold on for 30 days - it might pass like it did for me!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Wegovy for half a week. For my first injection, I used the upper right side of my stomach. Within an hour, I had a bit of shooting pain in my left mid-back section. I was a bit concerned but didn't say anything to anyone about it as I figured it was just my body getting used to a new chemical. I'm now on day 3, and no pain anywhere, no nausea, and feeling pretty great. I am a little concerned about not understanding exactly what my caloric intake 'should' be but will discuss it with a dietitian. My dosage was the starter 0.25 mg, and my starting weight is 228 lbs. Let the journey begin! Already got past one of the biggest hurdles, namely doing the injections myself. The needle is super small, and didn't leave any marks or blood! Super fast, and recommend it to the 'needle-adverse' folks. I am very glad that it is only once a week though."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "For me, it is a miracle drug! I have had no side effects and have been on it since December 2021. I was trying other medications that helped a little, but I was stuck teetering between 190-195 and could not pass that. As soon as I started Wegovy, the weight started to come off. I am now right around 160, and I am close to my goal. I am also 60 years old, which makes weight loss even more difficult. I highly recommend this treatment!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started 3 weeks ago, and every Monday I inject myself with a 0.25 mg dose. I started this medication because at age 47, even though I tried so hard to exercise and diet, my weight was a roller coaster ride and I would bounce back to my heaviest weight. My weight when I started was 170 lbs, which was 3 weeks ago. After a week, I am down to 159 lbs, then the second week 157 lbs. I weighed myself yesterday and I am down to 155 lbs, that's 15 lbs less. The first week I had a little heartburn, and the second week I was a little dizzy because you can go a day without being hungry at all. By the end of the second week, I had no side effects at all. I am surprised that again I can go a day without being hungry at all, but of course, I force myself to eat something; even with food, I will eat but will be so full easily. I take protein shakes daily as my meal replacement. I'm taking fiber (gummies) so I can go to the bathroom with no problem, and it helps a lot. Overall, I am pretty happy with the result."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed Wegovy for weight loss purposes. I'm 5'11 and 225 pounds with a BMI of 31%, so I can be considered obese. I've been on it for one week and have lost 7 pounds. I'm starting with the lowest dosage (.25). First of all, the injection was completely painless (for me). I also inject Humira bi-weekly, so maybe I'm just used to it, but I was shocked to feel absolutely nothing. I questioned if I was doing it right because it was so painless. Do not let some testimonials scare you! I did a lot of research while waiting for the drug to come back into stock. 90% of what I read were complaints about vomiting, diarrhea, and some people getting so sick they had to stop taking it. Some of these reviews were written after only a week or two of using the drug. So far, my personal experience has been completely different from what I've read. That could change as I increase the dosage. As of right now, the only side effect I'm experiencing is a complete lack of appetite."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I can’t hold this back anymore as this medication has changed my life. For years I have been overweight, spent a lot of money buying tabs, shakes, diet plans, personal trainers... you name it. My life was bad, low self-esteem. As a nurse for over 15 years, this was very bad for me. I have been taking Ozempic for 7 months now and have lost 5st. It works like magic. I still have to watch what I eat, drink a lot of water, and try to do minimum exercises. Ozempic changed my life."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for almost 7 weeks and have lost over 22 lbs. From the moment I took the first injection, the food noise was gone. At times, it feels like progress is slow, but in truth, the progress has been steady. I have not started dieting or exercising, I am focusing on eating healthier and listening to my body for signs that I am full. I have heard of bad side effects, though I personally have not experienced any. Prior to this medication, I have lost, gained, and relost 50-100 lbs over and over again."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I began Wegovy in late August '21. I had bariatric surgery in 2000. Menopause, major life changes, and COVID resulted in a 60 lb weight gain over 5 years. It's May 1, and I've lost a total of 81 lbs. My BMI has gone from 38 to 25, and I never got to the 2.4 injection. I had slight nausea and 2 incidents of gastrointestinal uncertainty ('sharts') the first 2 weeks, but nothing after that. I walked 1.5 - 2.0 miles 6 or 7 days weekly, ate a high-protein, low-carb diet, switched to 50/50 Stevia/Sugar as a sweetener, and ceased eating after 8 pm nightly. I feel great, and because of my weight loss, I can delay my other hip replacement. Wegovy gave me a second chance at better health, and I'll continue to use it for maintenance."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Wegovy since August 2021. I am down 45 pounds. I did low carb with this which has really helped me to lose the weight I have wanted to lose. The side effects are very real, extreme constipation and nausea for two days after injection. The doctor prescribed Zofran for the nausea and I have taken a stool softener for the constipation. All things said, it really helped curb my appetite. But you have to diet with it."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I tried everything, almost getting gastric sleeve surgery. Thanks to my cardiologist, even my heart is fine, he doesn't want to give me clearance for the operation. He recommended Wegovy. I think this is the best decision I ever made. I started on November 2nd, 2023, and until now, December 20th, I have lost an incredible 30 pounds. I now eat only two times a day. I used to eat lots of sweet stuff, but not anymore. No more late eating. I eat very small portions and I feel full all day. I love you, Wegovy, it's real. I am on a 1mg dosage. I was 331 pounds and now I am 301 pounds, with a goal to lose 40 more pounds by July. Good luck everyone, there's a chance because of Wegovy."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My health wasn't good, so I fired the nurse practitioner I was seeing and got an internist doctor. Found out my thyroid was almost non-functional, high blood pressure, and my pre-diabetes rate was on a serious climb. 1 year later, I was at the right dose of Synthroid. Doctor put me on metformin and phentermine, and added Ozempic 2 weeks later at 0.25. That was a rough ride, I was nauseated and dizzy a lot! I started at 265 lbs, and every day I would see a pound or 2 come off. As of this morning, I weighed in at 239, and I'm up to 1 mg dose of Ozempic weekly. I take the anti-nausea now just before my Ozempic dose, and that's it. I use doTERRA ginger. A1C down to 5! I'm glad I listened to my doctor and my pharmacist and stuck with it. Anything worth having doesn't usually come easy! I would like to get down to the 160-170 range, I'm 5'11'', and thinner than that, I start to look like Olive Oyl! OH Popeye!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for a year and 3 months and have lost 100 lbs. (started at 289 & 5'7"). I do deal with nausea, but it is controllable with Zofran so I keep that on me at all times. You are in control of how you feel by what you eat and the amount of water that you drink. Protein is key! I have dealt with a B12 deficiency since being on this med as well as hair loss. I deal with chronic pain so working out has never been easy for me. Wegovy has been a game changer and completely changed my life. I went from a 2X to a L in clothing and feel the best that I've ever felt despite the nausea."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "57-year-old on this for 3 1/2 weeks. I'd like to tell you how much I lost (was 4 pounds at 3 weeks), but I am so constipated for 4 days I cannot be sure what my real weight is (it could be 6 pounds now). Get a telemedicine provider to send you a vial of semaglutide (not the pre-loaded syringes) and use an insulin syringe to administer 1/2 the dose on one day with an ODT Zofran, then take the second half of the dose 24 hours later with another ODT Zofran. I administer in my outer thigh, like you would give insulin. The provider will tell you exactly how many 'units' to administer per week, just cut it in half, say Saturday and Sunday. Take a stool softener on Sunday, which I forgot to do this week! I have had zero gastrointestinal issues, no nausea, no vomiting. The Zofran may be causing some of the constipation, and I don't consider this a real issue, just a minor side effect with an easy fix. I am a Nurse Practitioner, so I have been watching everything for real side effects. I'll update."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Honestly, I have never been so sick in my life. 1st and only dose of Wegovy made me so incredibly sick. I have been in the hospital twice for excessive dry heaving. There is no stopping the symptoms. I had short-term relief with IV sedatives and anti-nausea medications. Still a week later, now at home throwing green bile. I will never recommend it to anyone."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "I suffer from bulimia and binge eating. It’s amazing the potential of this medication that should really be looked at. I’m maybe 15 pounds overweight, but the obsession I had with food was unreal. Just constantly thinking about it, hiding, overeating, controlling, and throwing up when overeating. I have no side effects on Ozempic at all. I mistakenly started at 1 mg because I didn’t know how to click. No nausea, no other issues whatsoever, but I know people that couldn’t tolerate it. Yes, I lost a little weight, but mostly I stopped caring about snacks, carbs, or sweets. I eat when tired and need energy or when it’s been long enough, I don’t go crazy when I see food. It's saved my mind so much. I just live now and do not have a million thoughts in my head about bingeing because it’s there or hiding so no one sees how much I can eat."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Started April 1, 2021, on Ozempic low dose. 3-week intervals it was increased. Side effects were constipation (went on laxatives to help), pain in my back (severe), bloating. Week 11 increased to 1mg, the side effects were major bloating, diarrhea, sounds in my stomach (crazy), nauseous, feeling under the weather. My appetite has decreased to the point that I only eat 2 meals a day that are small. My sugar levels have decreased from 7.1 to 5.2 A1C. I’ve noticed that I have been kept awake some nights like I’m nervous for some reason. In the first 3 weeks, I’ve lost 15 pounds. Haven’t checked since I want to wait but can feel a difference. The pains in the stomach are really uncomfortable, and the bloating I will try gas-x for relief. When I try to eat more than I should, my body tells me that I’m full. If I go beyond that point, I get severe pains in the stomach for hours. But depends on what I eat. Going to stay with smaller portions/healthier foods."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) "I was put on this medication by my internist at the beginning of 2020 for weight loss. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which causes insulin resistance despite the fact that I'm not diabetic. It makes it extremely hard to lose weight. My doctor thought I would be a good candidate for Rybelsus and had seen success with others. I lost almost 30 pounds in two months while taking Rybelsus and going to the gym 3 times a week. However, I had to stop going to the gym during the pandemic and continued the medication. I started having severe gastrointestinal issues about a month ago. I had to have an EGD, HIDA scan, and ultrasound done to discover I have gallstones. My gallbladder is functioning perfectly though and my cholesterol is always good so all signs point to the fact that Rybelsus gave me gallstones. Gallstones are an 'infrequent yet severe side effect' listed by the drug manufacturer. BEWARE! I never had these issues until I started taking Rybelsus!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Wegovy for a little over a month now. My first injection of the 0.5mg dose was on Friday (3/24/23). The weight loss has been fairly slow but steady. The main thing that I've noticed is that it makes me feel full after I eat. I know it sounds strange, but for some reason, I've never felt hungry or full—I ate when people told me and didn't stop eating until my plate was clean since I was a kid. Now, after I eat a bit, I feel full and stop eating. I've learned to be choosier with what I eat, opting for healthy things, protein and fiber, and less fat and carbs. No crazy fad diets or anything, just being more mindful. My injections are on Fridays, and I've noticed that Sundays are the worst days, but after 2 weeks on a dose, the side effects are pretty minimal. Just started the 0.5mg dose and so this past Sunday was bad, but my doctor gave me a PRN script for Zofran to help with nausea. I hope this review helps someone."
