For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 57-year-old nurse and my weight had increased to 224 pounds after years of menopause and management of chronic illnesses. I started taking phentermine on 12/1/23 as a low dose. I was amazed at the energy it provided me. I also incorporate exercise as it gives me the energy to exercise, a healthy diet with calorie control to 1000-1200 calories per day and daily weights. I also use MyFitnessPal and Fitbit to help log and manage my progress. Now I am almost 6 months into my journey. I have lost 45 pounds, my cholesterol and triglycerides are now normal, my blood pressure is now in low normal and beginning to wean off BP meds. I have psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis and my pain has gone from 5-6 to 0-1 (on most days). I have experienced dry mouth, headaches, and constipation, but drinking more water, eating more fruits and vegetables, and exercise have helped all of these. Stay the course, the results are well worth it. I love the healthier and thinner me!! This medication is a lifesaver!!"

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started off on the highest mg, which is 37.5, and it has worked very well for me. In my first month, I had lost 26 lbs, and in 6 months, I lost a total of 90 lbs. I DID NOT EAT HEALTHY NOR DID I EXERCISE. I took a break from it a couple of months back because it's not safe to take it for an extended period of time due to the fact that it takes a toll on your liver. I just got back on it again yesterday. It will cause you to have DRY MOUTH, CONSTIPATION, URGES TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER, ENERGY, ABILITY TO STAY FOCUSED, INSOMNIA, FAST HEART RATE, MOOD SWINGS, NAUSEA, AND EASES BODY PAIN. I have a heart murmur and panic attacks, so after taking this medication, I notice it gets harder for me to breathe as the day goes by."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far, with this med is amazing. I considered Wegovy, but not eligible due to a thyroid tumor in my 30s. I'm 54, 5'10' female, and started this med two weeks ago at 224 lbs. Pre-pregnancy, I weighed 170 with a fairly muscular build. I've been more in the 200-225 range for 20 years, which is obese per BMI (not my fave measure, but it's commonly used). In two weeks, I've lost 14 lbs down to 211 on the 37.5 dose. The only negative side effect has been constipation. On the positive side, I've had so much good energy, not jittery, more like restored to normal. Better focus and workouts focused on body weight/lifting at a pace that gets my heart rate up to minimize muscle loss. The first few days, it was a struggle for this binge snacker to eat 750-800 calories, but now I'm up to about 1200 and hope to slowly increase. Food noise wanting sugar/snacks is GONE, and my prior high caffeine intake is down to 2 diet sodas a day from 6. Hoping for lasting success and will provide an update at 1 month."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "SW 283, GW 167, CW 223! Lost 60 lbs in a little more than 4 months. Take phentermine about 5 days per week. Use MyFitnessPal. Walk and hike a lot. Weight train a little. Try to eat as much protein as I can and be carb conscious. So glad I don’t have significant negative side effects. They were worse during the first week, but now I am just thirsty and have mild to moderate constipation. I’d say it’s worth it. And if you can, push through the first week of sweaty palms, etc., unless of course it causes significant medical concerns. Also, I have adopted a bit of a zig-zag pattern to calorie consumption with one very low-calorie day per week. This is working for me. Glad to be more than halfway to my goal!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Taking this medication for 4 months now, I was 203 pounds in March and down to 169 pounds now (July), feeling good. I'm 33 years old, I've always struggled with my weight and binge eating disorder, but it got worse during the pandemic. I was binge eating every day, and I couldn't control it - I was 203 pounds, the heaviest I've ever gotten. I was uncomfortable in my own skin, so I decided to look for help because I couldn't do it on my own, even though I tried. The doctor prescribed phentermine. It took away most of my appetite and cravings - I felt hungry, but I would eat just the necessary. I still have binge eating episodes when I have PMS, but not as bad as before. Not many side effects for me, just a VERY dry mouth, it made me drink more water, which is good. I experienced insomnia sometimes, and a little headache and constipation in the first week. I recommend it to people who want to get healthier but can't do it alone, just don't forget that you have to be strong to keep the results. It's not a miracle pill."

Lomaira (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I did lose 5 pounds in one week, however, taking Lomaira 8 mg made me severely constipated with severe abdominal pains. I ended up in the hospital for 2 days, I was fully impacted, according to MRI and CT scan."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was 215 lbs, now 179.5 lbs. My goal weight is 140 lbs. I lost 36 lbs in the 3 months that I took phentermine. I did not feel hungry and had energy. I did have dry mouth and had trouble getting enough sleep. I feel that it is well worth the side effects. I drank plenty of water and would take OTC meds to help with constipation. I also would recommend taking the medication as early as possible so that by the late evening, you can sleep. I have been off phentermine for 3 weeks now and am having trouble losing. I have not gained any weight. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin to continue to help me lose weight. I have less energy, and it really doesn't help much with hunger. I am doing intermittent fasting, and hopefully, I can lose enough until I can get back on the phentermine in 5 months."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far this is absolutely the best aid in losing weight for me. I had lost 75 lbs in 2011 with Weight Watchers but gained about 38 lbs back between 2012 and 2014. I went to the doctor and he put me on phentermine & chromium picolinate. I have been on this since 8/23/14. In 6 wks I have lost 25 lbs. It has significantly decreased my appetite to where I don't even think about eating and have to remind myself to do so. The only side effects I have had are dry mouth, which causes me to drink water constantly (so not a bad thing), mild insomnia the first 2 wks & constipation, for which I just take a supplement. BUT you have to eat right. Reduced carbs for sure. Weight Watchers taught me healthy eating so you do have to change your food."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 51-year-old grandma of 6. I started Phentermine 7 weeks ago. I have lost 18 lbs. It started working the first day! I stopped drinking pop, eating garbage foods, etc. I just don't care about that stuff anymore. I believe this is a gift, and want to get everything out of my 3 months that I can. I get on the treadmill every morning for at least an hour, lift light weights for 5 minutes while I walk, drink a lot of water. I look so much different and feel really great! I am nervous when the pills run out. I really love how this is going and am afraid of what will happen when I am on my own again. My side effects are dry mouth, and constipation, two things that seem really small for the benefits I am getting. I feel fantastic!"

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I went to a weight loss clinic on Tuesday, June 2nd. I have been battling my weight for years (ever since I had 4 kiddos). I'm 5'5, and my starting weight was 184.4 lbs. I started the prescription the same day that I had it filled, and as of today, Friday, June 5th, I am down to 177 lbs! This is absolutely unreal! 7 lbs in 3 days! I have had slight insomnia, constipation, and crazy dry mouth, all of which are easily solved. A little melatonin for sleep, cascara sagrada for constipation, and tons of water for dry mouth. I can't wait to see where I am at the end of June!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It works! The best 'diet pill' I have ever taken. I lost 40 lbs in 3 months. Exercising is the key. You have to work out to see faster results. Side effects were headaches, only because I had no appetite. Constipation was an issue, but I took care of that by juicing veggies."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 20-year-old 5'2" female who started taking phentermine at 172 lbs. After taking phentermine for only 1 month and 1 week, I dropped all the way down to 141 lbs. I will say that phentermine really changed my life, but it caused severe side effects. My doctor recommended that I take it for 3 months, but I stopped at 1 month and 1 week because I was badly constipated and had chest pain, shortness of breath, and was extremely dizzy. I have been off of phentermine for one month and want to lose more weight, but I am afraid of phentermine."

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took Adipex for the past 3 months as prescribed. I weighed 190 lbs. with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. The first month I lost 20 lbs. The 2nd month 4 lbs. and 3rd month 4 lbs. I played volleyball 2x a week, which helped. I could have lost more, but I hate exercising if it's not volleyball. My 1st month, the insomnia was nightly. The dry mouth was all the time. Try chewing gum. I drank more water than I'm used to, but it was good for me. Constipation was a problem. Try fiber pills or Phillips or stool softener for constipation. Lots of energy. 2nd month, sleep was better. I felt great because I could feel those 20 lbs. off and my clothes were so baggy. Lots of energy. I slightly started to want to eat. 3rd month. Total loss = 28 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on phentermine at the beginning of December 2019. I was worried about having bad side effects due to not handling caffeine very well. (Makes me feel sick). I took half a pill for the first 8 days, and afterward would take half a pill at 7:30 a.m. before work, and the other half around 9:30 a.m. I lost 15 pounds in the first month. This second month has slowed down, but I am down 7 pounds the 2nd month. The second month I was given capsules and not the pill, so I haven’t been able to split the dose like before. The side effects I have had are dry mouth, occasional headaches, and occasional constipation. I would say that overall the side effects aren’t too bad, though. I plan on starting to exercise a few days a week next month to see if it will help me lose more."

T-Diet (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 25 years old and I have had a weight problem my entire life. For the last 8 years, I have lost and gained weight like crazy. My doctor put me on T-Diet 30mg on April 1, 2009, when I hit 292 pounds. I am currently on the 37.5 mg Adipex tablet, and I am down to 244 pounds. I feel phenomenal. After learning I had an underactive thyroid about a year ago, I had really started to feel like crap every day, and the weight just kept packing on. I feel 16 again and more self-confident. The worst of the side effects were the dry mouth (chew sugar-free gum to help), nausea at first (take an antacid), headaches at first, increased anxiety (totally worth it anyway), constipation, and I am easily agitated. Good luck."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking phentermine 35 mg for 3 months, and I go today for my 3rd weigh-in. I've lost 29 pounds in 2 months, today I'll know how much I've lost in 3 months. I'm loving this diet pill. I thought I'd never lose weight. Before, I was obese, I was huge-255 lb, my biggest ever, and I'm only 25 years old. I've made a lot of changes. I'm always full of energy now, when I used to sleep all the time because I didn't have any energy. I've gotten people interested in taking it too. One of my friends has gotten approved to take this diet pill and is having problems with it, but I'm loving it. The only downfall is constipation-really bad-and, of course, nausea all the time. Sometimes I have to make myself eat because I get distracted because I'm full of energy. I will update in 6 months."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was very hesitant at first to try this because of the side effects. I started with 1/3 tablet for the first week, then 1/2 tablet. I’m on day 12, still taking 1/2 tablet, and have lost 6 pounds. For the first 10 days, I didn’t sleep very well even with Benadryl and melatonin, but I am sleeping now that my body is adjusting. I’m taking Colace to offset the constipation. Other than that, it’s amazing. My appetite is reduced, I’m teaching my body how to fast intermittently. It gives me energy I haven’t had in years. I definitely recommend giving it a try if nothing else has worked. I would rate it a 10 if it didn’t have the sleep and constipation side effects. But, it’s totally worth it."

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 31, female. Just shy of 5'4''. I started phentermine on 12/28/15 weighing 184, now I'm in the middle of my 9th week, and I weigh 165, so in 2 months I lost 19 lbs. My goal is 145. I weigh in at my clinic every Monday evening. I do cardio and weights 4 to 6 days a week. The first 3 weeks I ate strictly protein and veggies with some fat, I've slowly added in complex carbs and fruit. I drink at least 90 oz of water a day and have 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. The days I don't work out, I only eat the 2 snacks. The side effects I've had are dry mouth, dry skin, and constipation (despite my water and fiber intake). I recommend the smooth moves tea by Traditional Medicinals, but test it one a day where you can be near a bathroom so you know how you react."

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Adipex 2 weeks ago. I weighed in at 232 lbs. As of today, I weigh 222 lbs. So I've lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I tried taking Alli in January along with the Special K diet and exercise and lost maybe 5 lbs. I am so excited about Adipex. It has helped me cut my portions down. I still eat normal food, just not as much. I have to force myself to eat. So far, the only side effects I've had are dry mouth, but that has helped me drink lots of water. I've also had a little constipation. I have stopped drinking Coke. I have had some, but I don't have the desire to drink it. If I get a Coke from somewhere, I only have like 3 sips out of it and end up throwing it out. I love Adipex."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took phentermine 2 years ago, and within the first month, I lost 36 pounds and not a flabby loss. I was weighing in at 283, 6' 1'', and 30 days later on my checkup, I weighed in @ 247. I ran 6 miles on the elliptical and still did my body workouts. I had just quit smoking and cut my calorie intake to 1800 per day. At the end of three months, I weighed in @ 229. The only side effects I had were cotton mouth and constipation, but that's because I didn't drink a lot of water. It's a great pill to help you get to your goal, also, let's just say the wife was pleased!!! I hope this helps you achieve what you are looking for!!!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Well, I started with phentermine 37.5 mg June 28, 2016. It is now July 26, 2016, and I'm down 23 pounds. Start weight 302. I actually did a weigh-in today and I was 279. I was skeptical at first because I heard about all the side effects, but I really wanted to lose weight, and I'm glad I trusted myself. The only side effects I have had are dry mouth and constipation. My legs are a little jittery every now and then, but I sleep really well at night. I walk/run 3 miles every day, and I already lost 5% of body fat. Every person's body is different. I will highly recommend this pill."

Adipex-P (phentermine) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Adipex for one week and lost 7 lbs. I was skeptical at first, but after exercising and dieting with no results, what did I have to lose? The doctor suggested we try it for 30 days. I'm glad I did. Side effects, at least for me, include dry mouth, constipation, and some sleeplessness. I feel that exercise is a daily must. After I exercise, I feel normal; the only difference is that I'm not hungry, nor am I interested in the donut by my desk or cake down the hall! Another point: you will not be hungry, nor interested in food; however, you must remain mindful that your body needs fuel to keep burning, so I find myself getting satisfaction from just half of a Kind bar (before I could eat 3 at once)."
