MetroGel (metronidazole) for Rosacea "This product is my miracle. I visited many doctors for the bumps and redness on my face and no one was sure it is rosacea (symptoms are not quite identical to rosacea's symptoms). I used many creams...lotions...strong antibiotics...after all a doctor offered Metrogel and you won't believe it, from the very first application I can see dramatic change in my facial redness and bumps. These acne like bumps are almost disappeared which I hope will be gone even more...thanks to Metrogel I have no side effects so far and use this only at nights followed by a light moisturiser."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I'm 28 never had BV before, the Metrogel was easy to use but I would have some slight cramping after inserting it. I used it for 5 days, I do have this white clumpy discharge and a slight odor but it isn't fishy or foul. I'm just hoping this gel hasn't messed up my vaginal pH or going to cause a yeast infection."

For Rosacea "Have been using Metrocream for a week now and my rosacea is much worse then prior to using the cream. I had only redness but within days of using as I had a flare up and got bumps which got progressively worse and spreading. I tried putting a bit of Metrocream on a section of skin with no rosacea and within days had redness and rash pop up. It may be an allergic reaction but either way it I'm trashing Metrocream and seeking out more natural remedies and solutions."

For Rosacea "For papules and pustules I give it 10/10 but for the rozacea redness I give it 1/10 it makes the rozacea redness on my cheeks a lot worse but it cleared the papules and pustules on my forehead completely with one application"

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I got bv from stupidly using body wash in the nether regions, completely regret it! I’ve never used antibiotics but my doctor gave me metrogel. So far no irritation and the smell is gone completely. Currently, I am experiencing discharge but no cramping so far. The only thing I fear is that I may get a yeast infection but hopes are high."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I was due for a Pap smear and after a couple of weeks my physician's office called me advising I had an overgrowth of bacterial in my vagina. I couldn't understand that as I never complained of any itching, odor, or smell, I just went in for a pap smear. After 5 days of administering this gel I developed a severe pain when I urinate. I called my physician and I was told to drink cranberry juice and take the cranberry supplement by AZO this didn't work, now I'm taking an antiobiotic Ciprofloxacin Hcl 500 mg for 10 days, twice a day which caused intense itching. Thursday is last day for pills and then I take the 1 day pill Fluconazole tablet 150 mg. What a horrific experience with the gel, it burns my clitoris"

For Rosacea "I have always had acne since I was 12. I am on birth control to help clear acne, but I am used to getting cysts and pimples on my chin area only. But, recently I have been getting papules and bumps that I never had before then all of a sudden with this cold weather it turned to a rash around my cheeks and coming down to my skin, but not on my chin, and rash between my eyebrows and forehead. I was diagnosed with rosacea the kind with the bumps. I was prescribed metronidazole 0.75% cream twice a day and doxy 100mg twice a day. Sometimes I think I notice a difference and other times I don't. It has been 3 days already, but I do not see a huge difference. Hoping after reading the positive reviews that this med will work for me and give me some relief. Will update once I start seeing results!"

Rozex (metronidazole) for Rosacea "I went to the doctors about a couple of small but persistent blemishes on my face. I was prescribed Rozex which is an expensive product. $50 for a small tube. I applied it on my face. The next day I had broken out in disgusting red oily lumps all over my face. They burn and are extremely uncomfortable. I look in the mirror and can’t believe what I’m seeing. I’m a 41 year old male and I’ve never had anything like this happen to me. I'm going to see another dr today to find out what’s going on. Terrible terrible product"

MetroGel (metronidazole) for Rosacea "I treated my face with metrocream for years and it worked quickly and effectively. It was also covered by my insurance. Recently I ran out, and discovered metrocream was no longer available and has been replaced by metrogel. Not covered by my insurance, metrogel cost me $188.19 CDN + tax for a single tube. If that isn't bad enough, it simply does not work. I feel like I was mugged."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I’ve been suffering from BV non stop after high school. I’m 22 and it is very annoying I feel like I’m not clean if that makes sense but the doctor did tell me a lot of women have this issue just because we’re women. They prescribed me metrogel one dose every night for 5 nights I can’t tell if it is clearing up my discharge because I have the medicine coming out when I wake up it looks gross but I read it’s normal. I’m done with my gel and took one dose of diflucan (anti yeast) after my gel and on the 4th day since finishing medication I still have symptoms and the gel is still inside. I got discharge with blood and got scared but I read that’s a side effect. I guess I just hope my BV and yeast goes away I didn’t even know I had yeast to begin with. I’ll keep y’all updated hope this helps."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I have suffered with BV now for over 6 months and it has caused a lot of issues with my mental health and sex life. After being tested for every STD under the sun ( just to rule out as we didn’t know what it was at first) It was misdiagnosed as thrush from a doctor at the clinic. The symptoms persisted as what I was given for the thrush didn’t clear it (as it wasn’t thrush) I went back to 3 doctors who told me it was BV. I have now taken 3 courses of oral antibiotics and they don’t work for me. I was then prescribed metronidazole gel (5 day course) and wow ! Just wow ! The results after the first dose are incredible. No more overbearing smell, no funky discharge. Not having to change my underwear and shower like 4 times a day. One thing I will say is just be aware that the gel WILL GIVE YOU A WEIRD STRINGY LUMPY WHITE DISCHARGE! it’s just the gel working and flushing out the infection. I was scared by this at first but later found out it’s normal xx"

Rozex (metronidazole) for Rosacea "I have found that this cream improved my face redness, I only use it when I need to. I was told I had rosacea about 10 years ago after having a relatively clear skin. I was about 60 years old and couldn't understand why I got pimples on my face. I probably should persevere more and use it for a longer period of time as the rash returns especially after I have eaten dark chocolate (which I love) or cheap chocolate, I find that the more expensive chocolate like Lint or aldi chocs aren't as bad . I think sugary food makes it break out. I try and avoid these products."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I've struggled with BV for a couple years now. I've taken so many meds for this thing that it became a way of life. Always it returns! I'm also always told I have an inflamed cervix. Now I'm 11 weeks pregnant and went for my check. My cervix was severely inflamed (it bled during the pap smear). Was initially given Gynotran vaginal inserts (that didn't work). Now I've been given metro-gel inserts for 5 days. It was my last dose last night and I noticed on day 3 cramping, then day 4-5 persistent abdominal cramping like when you hold your pee too long (which I didn't). Plus I'm urinating a lot. Saw tiny white clumpy discharge too. Really hope this works and that I don't get a yeast infection as I'm already worried about my baby and fear using more meds during this time."

For Rosacea "I have found the gel to be extremely helpful (more so than the cream). It does take continuous use for me but it's worth the relief. I also use it on my ears for relief from flushing/burning sensation. Having the Rosasacea under control has also helped tremendously with my dry skin."

For Rosacea "I'm 44 and have had rosacea (untreated) for about 15 years...with pustules mostly the last 2-3 years...one doctor telling me it was adult acne. Anyway, it got really bad after changing my diet to keto, and I knew it should have cleared my skin up but the pustules got so bad. My Dr prescribed the generic gel and within two weeks the pustules were completely goneband another two weeks and skin texture is wonderful, but the redness remains on my cheeks so only 8/10. I'm going to ask my Dr about something else when I go back for the redness. I'd like to know why I waited so long to treat it. This worked great and my skin hasn't been this clear ever in my life. No side effects that I can tell"

For Rosacea "I had seriousl Rosecea that I allowed to go undiagnosed/untreated for years. Until the point it effected my eyes and then I knew I had to do something. I have been using this cream for 5 days now in addition to a sulfa wash, doxycycline daily and CreaVe moisturizer. The results are slow (but my case was extreme so keep that in mind) but I'm starting to notice improvements in the texture of my skin as well as decreased redness and swelling. I use it 2 times daily. My advice is be patient with it. Don't expect overnight results but I think you will be pleased after strict continued use within a week or so."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "I used Metronidazole vaginal cream 10% for a bacterial vaginosis caused from washing too much. My only symptom was a yellow discharge. I was very worried to start the treatment because of the reviews, I was scared of the sides effects, and I waited for a month before starting. I’m on my last day of treatment and the only symptom I had was a bit of headache at the beginning and today mild cramping. Symptoms are very minimal. I have no more discharge."

For Rosacea "I think this stuff is great. I have rosacea that seems to run in the family, worsened by the dryness of winter. I've been using this for a week and it works pretty well. Apply it once before bed and another time during the day, and my skin had significantly improved in redness. The scaliness of rosacea is also gone. Would recommend."

MetroGel-Vaginal (metronidazole) for Bacterial Vaginosis "So I feel like I always either have BV or a yeast infection. I went to the Gyno for severe itching and was given an oral dose for a yeast infection. That went fine. My results came back and I also had BV so I started the 5 day vaginal metronidazole gel. I hate it. First couple of days I felt weak and dizzy. I’m on the last night thank goodness. These past three days including right now. I’ll get a terrible headache in the evenings. I never get headaches. Super weird. Really uncomfortable. Also very anxious and irritable. Hope this all goes away after tomorrow. And I pray I don’t get a yeast infection. Literally just took medication for one."

For Rosacea "I had mild to moderate Rosacea and started using the Metro cream two weeks ago. I saw improvement within the first week. I've been using it twice a day after washing my face with Garnier Sulfate -Free Gentle Cleanser. I have dry skin so I then use CeraVe lotion with SPF 30 in the a.m. and CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream in the p.m. These combinations have really worked for me. I think I am ready to cut back to once a day in the p.m. I've been rather impressed with CeraVe moisturizers and the Garnier cleanser. I'm 63 years old and was very frustrated by how my skin was changing having had pretty good skin throughout my life. My skin is now clearer and brighter with no eruptions."
