Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "So I have been TTC for years. I am 24 years old and I don’t have regular periods, so my doctor prescribed Clomid 50mg for me to take for 5 days, as well as Provera to induce my period. My period did come and I started the Clomid on cycle day 2. It’s now cycle day 28 and I am experiencing some symptoms such as lower back ache, sore nipples, and cramps. Can’t wait to do my pregnancy test, hoping it’s positive. Anyone else experience these symptoms?"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I did not think it would work. Did 4 rounds of Clomid. 50mg, 100mg, 150mg & 50mg. I had no side effects except for a large, non-painful cyst on the 150mg which required me to wait 1 month before trying 50mg again and to be tested for ovarian cancer. Started 50mg again in October 2017, cycle days 2-7 and had blood drawn on day 21 to see if it increased progesterone. I waited, thinking it wasn’t going to work. I had bad cramping for 1-2 weeks & decided to test before calling my doctor to see what was wrong. I found out I was pregnant on November 3rd, 2017. My daughter is now 17 months old!"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I tried Clomid 50 mg for three cycles, but no success 3-7. My periods were on the 20 Sep 2019. I started on the 23 Sept 2019 Clomid 100 mg first round 4-8. I didn't experience any side effects. The only result when I finished the 7 days was cramps in my abdomen for 1 day. Then the next day, my nipples became sore. I'm just waiting to miss my period and get a big positive. God bless all. Cross fingers, ladies. Baby dust to you all."

For Female Infertility "My husband and I have been trying to have a child together for a few years now, and no success. Almost a year ago, I found out that I have PCOS and irregular periods, so I am on Clomid 50 mg along with Metformin 500 mg and iron tabs because of low iron. My OB/GYN told me to take the Clomid on days 3-7. I'm on day four of my cycle and day 2/7 on Clomid. Since I have been taking it, I have been experiencing bloating and bad cramps. I'm on my period 4/5, and I feel like it's from the Clomid, so maybe that means it's doing its job. My OB/GYN told me to have intercourse on days 12, 14, 16, and sooner than that if I wanted, so I really hope this works for us. I'm hearing nothing but positive things about the medication and excited to find out."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I’m 27 years old, been ttc since 2020. I have a regular period. Drank Clomid this year, 2023, on my 5th day of the period. Had delayed period with negative pregnancy result. Day 30 and still no period, with severe cramps on lower back and ovaries. Probably developed ovarian cyst because of Clomid."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "I first took Clomid 50 mg in December, and I unfortunately didn’t respond. I took Clomid 100 mg this cycle and now just waiting for the results of it. Side effects: cramps, headache, hormonal mood swings."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "Month 5 on Clomid, 25 mg days 5-10 and still no luck. I've been charting temps and using OPKs, while being monitored every month with scans and lab work. Side effects are rough after I ovulate. I cramp and get backaches to the point where I can't get out of bed. Thinking this will be my last month since I've been gaining about 8 lbs per month."

For Female Infertility "I was diagnosed with PCOS back in April. I am cycle day 21 today. Just got my progesterone level drawn this morning. This past month, I was given Provera to induce my period and took 50 mg of Clomid day 3-7 of my period. No side effects with the medication, just slight cramping. We had frequent intercourse, and yesterday, on cycle day 20, I had like a 10-second spasm in my lower belly. No other symptoms at this time. Do you think this could be an implantation spasm?"

For Female Infertility "Clomiphene was terrible for me, it caused side effects of mood swings, hot flashes, weight gain, extreme sadness, bloating, cramping, and caused a complex ovarian cyst. Would never recommend anyone taking this, it feels toxic. And it did not work."
