Introduction
Clocortolone pivalate is a synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid.
Uses for Clocortolone
Clocortolone pivalate shares the actions of the other topical corticosteroids and is used for the relief of the inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Clocortolone Dosage and Administration
Topical clocortolone pivalate is applied sparingly in a thin film and rubbed gently into the affected area 1–4 times daily. Occlusive dressings may be used for severe or resistant dermatoses.

Chemistry
Clocortolone pivalate is a synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid. The drug occurs as a white to yellowish white powder and is sparingly soluble in alcohol.
Stability
Clocortolone pivalate cream should be stored in well-closed containers at 15–30°C; freezing should be avoided.
