For Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I take my second 2.5 mg Zepbound tomorrow. I am so impressed so far with this med. I am in my 60s and have tried dieting with initial success and then rebound. I swim and use an elliptical, which makes me feel good but has not helped me lose weight. This is a different experience. Like others say, it turns off the craving 'noise', you feel full all the time, and food is no longer the enemy. I have been eating fruits and veggies, chicken, beef, and eggs. Cottage cheese tastes great for the first time and is a great small meal. I drink water with sliced lemons, which tastes great and is satisfying. I have never been much of a water drinker, but now that is all I want other than tea and coffee. I have probably lost about 2 lbs so far as my always bloated belly is flattening, though I have a long way to go. I have had a few mild headaches and vomited on night three, otherwise, no side effects. I'm all in!"

I finally am able to go. I noticed that after the injection, I vomit every time the next day. I am 5'7 and weighed 233. I am now 209. The nausea is sometimes unbearable. I feel like not taking this medicine. Everyone's body is different."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It definitely curbs your appetite, however, it destroyed my stomach. After 5 weeks, I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. I’m disappointed that my stomach and vomiting were so severe that it was not worth the risk. In a 3-week period, I had to go to the emergency room twice. I hope others have a better experience than I did."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started out great. Moved to 5.0 and had AWFUL vomiting on day 3 after injection. Dr. tried to move me back to 2.5 but Rx store was unable to get it. Went 5 weeks before it was restocked. Started 2.5 again with 0 effect. And I mean zero. Moved to 5.0 and the nausea is there, but so far, no vomiting. What concerns me is that I have suddenly been struggling with an elevated pulse and higher than normal BP. Wasn't an issue before, so not sure if it's related or incidental. May stop it because I just don't feel good. In addition over the 5 months of on and off again, I am down 4 pounds...and following a reasonable diet plan. Discouraged."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound at 2.5. My weight was 249 and I'm 5'2''. I've lost 34 lbs starting in July. I went up to 7.5 and was doing great. Then the third dose, all the side effects started in spades. I started vomiting, no appetite, tired all the time. I drink water all the time (and I'm a reformed soda drinker). I'm suddenly itchy all the time. The weight loss has slowed down. But I'm not giving up in order to get my knee replacement. This comment section makes me feel like I'm not alone. Thanks for listening. Oh, the one thing that could make me quit is the price is ridiculous! I'm running out of money."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "After my second 2.5 shot, the side effect symptoms are too much for me to handle. I’ve barely kept any food down except for a day and a half before my second shot. I can’t find a way to prevent acute nausea, and the vomiting is now making me weak. I knew there would be side effects, but for me, this medication doesn’t work for my body. I chose to discontinue the medication and will work with my doctor to see what other options may work for me. I have been unable to participate in family and home life, feeling trapped between being so sick I can’t leave my bed and spending a lot of time vomiting or feeling like I will if I try to move or drink water. I hoped this would be the tool to help me on a healthier path, and it’s not the right one for me, but I can see how it would possibly help others if they aren’t affected by side effects."

I have had some nausea and vomiting. It’s easy to use. I’m squeamish when it comes to shots, so for the first 2 months, my husband had to inject me. I got used to it and can now do it on my own. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Severe nausea, horrid vomiting and diarrhea after 7.5 mg dose - did okay with 2.5 and 5 mg doses - there should be more warnings with the higher doses as this was severe. Higher doses should be reviewed further for safety reasons."

I've lost 20% of my body weight. I believe this medication needs to be taken forever, or all the weight will return."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm a 64-year-old woman. 5'2" and weighed 177. I've lost 10 pounds in my first 3 weeks. With the heartburn, I had to force myself to eat last night when I wasn't really hungry. I think I ate the scrambled eggs too late in the evening. I had horrible diarrhea and vomiting. That was the first time that happened. I'm hoping it's just because I ate so late on such an empty stomach. I have had no desire to eat the first 3 or 4 days after injection. I experience side effects within 24 hours of injection administration, ranging from nausea, vomiting, belching, diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue, and dizziness. The side effects last about 24-36 hours. The medication definitely decreases my appetite and cravings. My doctor stopped my BP medication as I continue losing weight and my BP readings are good. My husband has noticed that I stopped snoring, lol. My plan is to reach my weight goal and stop the medication. I have changed my relationship with food. I look at food more as fuel for my body instead of indulging and overeating. I also introduced portion control and exercise, mostly walking and swimming. My insurance covers the medication."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started in January 2025 with the 2.5 dose. For the first two weeks, I experienced nausea and diarrhea off and on. For the last two weeks, I was fine. I am on my second week of 5 mg. The first week, I was so sick - I take the shot late Friday afternoon - I was in bed most of the day on Saturday with nausea and fatigue. I did vomit once. Sunday was the same. The rest of the week, I felt fine. Second shot last Friday - I was okay on Saturday - able to function but very nauseous. Woke up on Sunday and spent most of the day in bed due to nausea and fatigue. The anti-nausea medicine helps but not so much for me. Today I am functioning with some nausea. The benefits of this drug are obvious. I don't eat as much as I did before the medicine. I've lost 16 lbs so far. The nausea bothers me. I should be able to function and not get sick every weekend after a shot. I no longer have diarrhea - I am constipated instead. When I take Miralax, I cannot think about it or I get sick."

Last night was the first time I was nauseous and vomiting. I don't know if it was from the medication, but that day I had eaten chips and chocolate. I had not since I started. I want to believe eating those led me to being sick. Burping started about 3 weeks ago but only lasts for a day. It has happened 3 times. Been stuck on the same weight for 2 weeks."
