For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 5 ft nothing, weighed 155.4 when I started. I tried dieting, exercising, Weight Watchers, and kept gaining weight. I was prescribed Adipex on Nov 18th, 2015, and the pounds started falling off. I took the whole pill and felt anxious and shaky for about 3 hours, and after that, no bad symptoms. I took it for 2 months and lost 26 lbs. I stayed off for a month, and I didn't gain a single pound back. After a month off, I got back on, following instructions from the doctor when I first started, and by the first week, I lost 5 lbs. I have 10 days left, and I am at 118. My goal weight is 115. Adipex changed my life, and losing 30+ lbs in 3 months is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone! Also, it is not expensive at all, with or without insurance."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It definitely helps with cravings and weight loss, however, if you have or do experience anxiety or depression already, this pill is not going to help. I did lose about 5-6 lbs the first couple of weeks, but I had to stop because it was making me a crazy person. I had the most horrible anxiety, and I just felt mean, upset, and sad, and it really affected my emotions negatively. Just be careful!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 5'3 and weigh 196 lbs, and I started taking Adipex on 4/5. On 4/8, I weighed 193 lbs. The first day, it made me very jittery and have dry mouth very bad. I have also walked on the treadmill for thirty minutes since I started the Adipex. I have lost a pound a day. It helps me to eat smaller portions. My goal weight is 150 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was always wary about weight loss pills due to the jittery effect they give you. I decided to try the Adipex-P, and it was the best decision I had ever made. It gives no anxiety or jitters, on the contrary, I felt relaxed. Not like a drug relaxed, it made me feel as if I had slept so well that I felt perfectly healthy. By the way, it had been many years since I felt that well. It just curbs the appetite, and you start cleaning and getting on with life, as one is supposed to do. I went from a whopping 400lbs to 165lbs in 1 year. I only used it for the first month, after that, my body took off on its own, but it was the perfect start."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "47-year-old male, 6'3", beginning weight in 2012 was 280. Before prescribing, my doc thoroughly checked for a healthy heart and cardiovascular system. If you have high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythm, hypertension, etc., DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION. Also, if you have anxiety or panic attacks, you may want to report those to your doctor before being prescribed Adipex. This medication requires a great deal of responsibility. It curbs your appetite so you can make lifestyle changes that are easier to maintain after you are off Adipex. This is August 2016, and I now weigh 205 and feel great. My waist size went from a 44 to a 36. When you stop Adipex, your energy level will drop, if it doesn't level off after 2 to 3 days, have your doctor check your thyroid again."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Adipex 15 mgs every morning for 5 days now. Day 1, I felt jittery, but now I feel great! It has decreased my appetite and given me energy! Eating much less. I think I'm down about 5 pounds, hope to lose much more. I'm 280 pounds and should be 160."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this in April 2012. I weighed 192.5. It is now October 2012, and I am down to 143!! I take it before breakfast and exercise 2-3 times a week, sometimes more, depending on how I feel. The first day is the only time I got jittery at all. No other problems except for dry mouth. I keep a low-carb diet with the occasional cheat. But I feel great and never thought I would be down this much weight this soon."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Adipex 37.5 on 6/23/15. My starting weight was 301. As of 06/25/15, I was at 291! Wow! I am very impressed because I have done NO exercise at all. On the other hand, I have NO desire to eat throughout the day. I eat fruit before I take it and drink plenty of water (helps with the dry mouth too), but today (06/26/15), I am not feeling like myself. I was very jittery and weak. I realized that for the past 4 days I've only eaten 2 bags of chips, 2 bananas, and some grilled chicken. I ate something today and immediately started feeling better. I think I'm going to try to force myself to eat more because my body is not reacting well."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 48-year-old female who has been battling weight issues for over 10 years. I stopped smoking cigarettes on 3/3/13, and my weight took a jump up for the worst. I lost my willpower after gaining so much weight. I began to stay in the house and withdraw from social events because of being ashamed. I began taking Adipex on 8/15/18, weighing 234 lbs. As of 8/22/18, I weigh 227 lbs. THAT'S 7 LBS IN 7 DAYS! Today, 8/26/18, I haven't weighed myself, but I'm sure I've lost more. I have no appetite or cravings. Now that I see results, there is no turning back. Just wait until I exercise, oh boy! Side effects are slight headaches, jitteriness, sweating, and loose stools. The jitteriness gives me energy, so I don't mind."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 5'5", 240 lbs. After years of exercise and dieting, I just could not seem to lose more than a few pounds. My doctor and I decided I should try Adipex. I just started taking it yesterday (9/15/16). I've noticed a few side effects even just with the first dose. I have a bit of a dry mouth, and it has caused insomnia and a bit of jitteriness too. Granted, it was my first pill, so I'm hoping these will subside after a few days. It has curbed my appetite, and I've noticed an increase in energy. Now I'm not sure if it was due to the medication, but by 5/6:00, I started to feel like I was crashing a little bit. I don't want to give this a rating yet, being as I just started, so I will update at a later time."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This drug works well while you take it, but if you are looking for lasting results in weight loss, this is not the fix. There are side effects such as feeling uneasy, hyper, and an inability to sleep. Also, the longer you take this medication, the less it works. This may be a good way to start your weight loss, but you must be prepared to make lasting changes for the results to last."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I had a great experience using this, lost 20 lbs in the 3 months on it. Another positive, my face cleared up so, so nice!! My skin looked amazing! The first 2 weeks on it, I had terrible headaches, but they did go away eventually. The only thing I really noticed is that it triggered my anxiety a little bit and caused me to bite my nails a lot!! But other than that, I had a wonderful experience with it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Adipex on 5/4/12. My first visit was 5/3, and I weighed in at 165.2 lbs! The first couple of days I was only taking half a pill, and I did feel a little jittery, but nothing major. The first two weeks I was on it, I did the 30 Day Shred four days a week and ate really well, but I got off track and haven't eaten healthy since or worked out. My first visit after I started, I lost 11.8 pounds. I actually weighed myself about an hour ago, and I weighed 145 lbs. Let me just say that this medicine did not give me energy, and it didn't mess with my sleep at all. It only messed up my naps, which I loved because I have a 10-month-old who doesn't sleep well at night. Just wanted to come and share my results. Hope I helped!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Adipex 37.5 mg 2 days ago, weighing 266 lbs. I am 4'11", female, and the only health problems are obesity and asthma (exacerbated due to weight gain). I am down to 263 lbs (-3 lbs) in 2 days. The first day, shortly after I took the pill, I felt sort of high and jittery. Wore off in a couple of hours. I took the pill earlier in the day yesterday (which I plan to do every day moving forward) right before my workout. I had tons of energy. Didn't feel high or jittery, but maybe because I worked out shortly after taking the pill. I do have dry mouth, but not terrible. It has definitely caused decreased appetite. I didn't want to eat at all yesterday. I ate 2 small meals and a snack, and before I knew it, it was bedtime. I will be more conscious of my food intake moving forward. I'm pretty sure I ate around 800 calories yesterday. I will update after my next doctor's appointment on June 19. I don't plan to weigh in again until then."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’m so envious of those of you that this worked on! I have completed 2 months of this pill daily, and nothing. I did get some side effects the first week (faster heart rate, jittery, dry mouth, muscle clenching) and felt I was eating less, but clearly not. I still feel just as hungry, and I’m on the 37.5 mg dose! My dr told me to take a pill and a half to see if that helps, and so far it has not. I am so depressed as my eating is out of control. I am literally always hungry, which is why I needed help with the pill in the first place. I just wish I’d had the luck you all have had."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Only 2 days in, and I have zero appetite. I am focusing on weight lifting rather than cardio for my exercise, and I have to force myself to eat so I get enough protein in, otherwise, I truly believe I wouldn't eat a single thing all day. And even then, I'm extremely stuffed after just a few bites. I do get a bit jittery for an hour or two after taking my pill. I've also experienced what I'll call 'pent up energy.' I don't get energy like I want to run around cleaning the house, it's an energy like I want to go lift heavy weights. I would almost say it's an aggressive energy, but in a violent or mean manner at all. I hope this continues to work as it has these first few days. If it does, I'll reach my fat loss goal in no time."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I lost about 40 lbs through changing my eating habits and regular exercise over a period of about 18 months, but I had hit a plateau. I was referred to a weight loss clinic by my co-workers, who are having great success with phentermine. After my first week of taking phentermine 37.5, I was constantly famished and tired. At the 3-week marker (down 6 lbs), I requested to switch to Adipex. I noticed a difference the very first dose. I'm on day 3 of Adipex, and it seems to do a much more consistent job of curbing my appetite, and I don't feel sleepy. I'm not overly energetic, but also not jittery, and I'm not getting the headaches. Trying it for a week before possibly checking into another option. So far, I am feeling optimistic."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have always been 130 lbs, but since having my last child I went up to 171 lb! I have tried losing weight, but nothing was working, then I started steadily gaining to my current 184 lb (I am 5'4'). The doctor checked my thyroid, and all is well. I asked my doc about this medication and if it was right for me. I will see him every 30 days, with a 3-month limit on this medication. I have been on this med for maybe 2 weeks and have not weighed myself yet, but I have definitely noticed a change in my appetite. I no longer want to snack at night, and I am not always hungry. The first day I felt slightly jittery, and my mouth was so dry. Now I no longer feel jittery, my mouth is dry for about 3 hours after taking. I don't feel like I have a ton of energy, but when I get home after working a medium-paced 8-hour job, I am really tired when I get home. I have been keeping a close eye on my food and water intake. I am curious if I have lost any weight."
