Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Previous user of Adipex (phentermine), which would work great for the first few weeks, but then totally wear off, not to mention the side effects (insomnia, heart palpitations, constipation, anxiety) were annoying to deal with. Switched to Bontril and am so happy I did. I feel calm and focused. It's the oddest thing to not have to 'stress' over counting calories and choosing good food options. It just sort of is a perk with Bontril. One tip: drink lots of water. Bontril, water and clean eating dropped 8.7 pounds off me in a week. One of the best parts is going to bed and being able to sleep, which was hard with Adipex."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Bontril for quite a few months now and have lost 30+ pounds. It's been very stubborn but has come off slowly. I don't eat much anymore and it takes very little to fill me up. My energy levels are about the same, and occasionally I will have insomnia. I wish I knew what to do to make it come off faster. I exercise and drink lots of water. I get weighed in every other week and have always lost weight, it's just only a pound here or there. But I have to say this is the only product that I've actually lost weight on, so I'm just thankful for that even if it's slow. Overall, I'm just thankful I'm losing weight. I'm a 5'8 240-pound female."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Bontril on 6/17/13. The first week, I lost 10 lbs. I eat cleanly and exercise 3 days a week. Side effects include insomnia only if I don't exercise, decreased appetite, increased energy, a slight headache. I haven't lost any additional pounds."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far so great! I can't believe I found something that works for me! I'm 51 years old, and I have been overweight for 17 years! I was always able to control my weight before with Weight Watchers and exercise, but the pounds kept coming on! I got up to 250, and now I am down to 228 in 2 months!! What I can't believe is this is with no exercise, but I have lots of energy! I do have some side effects, with the biggest being insomnia, so sometimes I'll skip a dose if I think I haven't been getting enough sleep, and that helps some. But the biggest part is the energy and working all day without a nap or feeling tired! I don't want to go off it until I get to my goal weight. How long can I stay on this medicine? I heard 3 months, but that kind of scares me."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Bontril 105 for two weeks today and have already lost 10.3 lbs. I also exercise 45 plus minutes every day and follow the food pamphlet the doctor gave me. I do have a free day on Sunday, though. I have not had any bad side effects or sleeping problems except the first two nights. I am planning to lose at least 40 more lbs and then get off the pills and continue exercising to help me keep it off."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Bontril about 5 days ago and have already lost 11 pounds. Amazing! I am not at all hungry, I have to make myself eat 3 meals a day, and the only thing so far is I haven't slept well. Hopefully this will subside. I started at 166 pounds, and I am 5'6" tall, and my goal is 145 pounds."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started using Phendimetrazine 35 mg about 8 weeks ago. I lost 20 lbs. I was amazed at the results, but I also take additional supplements and vitamins too. I'm being seen by 2 doctors. One takes care of my general health, the other, weight management. I started out at 190 lbs, and now I'm at 170 and counting. I recently started taking the 105 mg. I'm not used to it yet. It really suppressed my appetite. If I didn't think to eat, I wouldn't have. I must keep my metabolism active. What I don't like about it is it keeps me awake, and I don't get good sleep at night. I was told to take the 105 mg and then the 35 mg at dinnertime if needed. If you have a hunger issue, 105 mg is the one for you. It's serious, but please eat a little. It works though."

It has been over 8 months since I stopped taking them, and I have only gained 8 pounds due to lack of exercise. I feel great."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Bontril SR (105 mg) for 30 days. The 1st week I lost 7 lbs and the 2nd week I lost 3 lbs and none since. The 1st week I had tons of energy and a significant decrease in appetite. The 2nd week my appetite started to come back and the energy was gone. I now have almost the same appetite as before, although I do get full a little quicker. Went to the doctor today to get a refill. Going to try 1 more month. I did follow the 1200 calorie diet and drank lots of water the 1st 2 weeks. It is hard to restrict calories now that the hunger is back. As far as side effects, I did experience headaches, insomnia, and dry mouth for a few days, but that has gone away. I was also irritable that 1st week. Now the only side effect is dizziness if I don't drink enough water."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on phendimetrazine 105 mg in the morning since May. I have also incorporated a pretty strict keto diet, eating breakfast and dinner with some exercise (have a job where I'm on my feet most of the day, running around and using some weights for my upper body at home every night) - lost over 25 lbs!! This has been a miracle worker for me. Eating breakfast with the medication keeps me full until dinner easily. Love it and highly recommend. Originally prescribed phentermine 37.5 mg, but it lost effect over time, this extended-release version doesn't. Had some trouble sleeping with both at the start, but your body gets adjusted to it and I feel great now. Hope to continue using this medication 'til I reach my goal weight, 10 more lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Today marks 4 weeks since I've been on Phendimetrazine. I've since lost 14 pounds as of this morning. Little to no exercise. I have cut back my eating because I don't tend to think about eating 24/7. I definitely need to eat better and exercise. Probably would get better results. The only real side effects I have are not sleeping well. I usually get 6 hours of sleep a night and am up the rest of the time. All in all, I've had a good experience. Also: I was 331 lbs when I went to the doctor on August 25th. I'm 227 lbs today, September 22nd. Good luck everyone."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been using Bontril for 7.5 weeks with only a 6 lb weight loss following a great diet of protein, fruits, and vegetables. I just phoned my physician's office and informed them that I plan on taking myself off of the medication secondary to severe constipation, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, and frequent urination. I have been off the medication for 5 days and feel so much better. I didn't realize the potential cardiac complications until today. Oh well, live and learn! Good luck to all!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "My starting weight was 213, three days later, I'm at 208. I take 35 mg a day. Supposed to take 2 a day, but want to wait to see how I react to the medicine. So far, I feel okay. I get thirsty a lot and have trouble sleeping, but other than that, I'm okay."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This medication does NOT work. I actually eat and crave more when I'm on it. Had difficulty sleeping. And when you're off of the medication, you feel depressed and extremely fatigued. I've been prescribed this medication by a bariatric doctor 2 months ago with NO RESULTS. I experienced better results from Phentermine."
