For Birth Control "Pt.1 I've been on Vienva for almost three weeks and I can say it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. I was skeptical about it because of all the bad reviews, and I was scared I was going to get acne because of it. But I would say it just gets my appetite going in the morning, which I love because I deal with a lot of anxiety and I lose my appetite so much. My boobs are fuller, which I'm not complaining about, and they're a little sore here and there. I do experience a little cramping, but it lasts for like 10 minutes. Today I was super emotional, but I can never tell if it's the birth control or just the people in my household, LMAO. But before today, I was actually kinda happy, which makes me happier because I haven't really been happy in so long. For any ladies trying this, I would say not to be scared! But I will update you guys with Pt.2 once I finish the first 3 months!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Vienva for 3 weeks, almost 4, and it got to the point where I was supposed to start my period. They were already irregular, and I got prescribed this from the pill club because I was tired of having 2 periods a month, but this is not worth it. By the time I got to the peach pills, my emotions have been through the roof. I cry over the smallest things and have the worst mood swings on it. If you’re going through the pill club like I did, I recommend you go to a doctor that will prescribe you the right pill. It might be good for some people, but the emotional effect on this is not worth it. I would rather be pregnant at this point. It made my cramps so much worse, and they were already horrible to begin with. The pill club can eat my panini."

For Birth Control "I am going to leave an unbiased review that will be factual without any bias because it's unfair to base it off of only personal feelings, which will look very scary. I was on this for two months, this may or may not cause your feelings of negativity to skyrocket. It did escalate my depression. It did make me more cranky and moody. It will make you cramp a bit. A bit of spotting, which is normal. These are the side effects I have experienced. If it sounds scary, then try a different brand, but other than that, you can just try to make yourself stronger mentally. I personally don't think it's the end of the world taking it. As for the effectiveness, it has not gotten me pregnant. It is doing an amazing job at doing what you want it to do, which is protect you from pregnancy. A lot of people overlook and fail to acknowledge its effectiveness."

For Birth Control "I just recently started this medication as my first ever use of birth control, and I've had no issues so far! No nausea, no cramping, no spotting yet. No mood swings or bloating either. I will update once I get further along, but so far I feel like I haven't even taken anything! Don't get too scared by the negative reviews because I think statistically speaking, more people are likely to share their experience if it's bad than people who are happy with it."

For Birth Control "I read the reviews of Vienva prior to taking it and was very anxious. I take the pill to regulate my cycle. Negatives: I had random sharp cramps the 2nd and 3rd week of taking it, which continued while on it. The next was my fault, I read online if you skip the placebo week, you'll skip your period. I had a normal withdrawal bleed after the first pack. My next cycle was on my birthday, so I tried to skip. Every day after my birthday for 2 weeks I bled on active pills. I gave up and had a random placebo week, and it stopped in a few days. I started up the pill again after and had very light on and off spotting, then ran out of pills from the 3 packs. My body wasn't used to the pill, and it was too early to skip. Positives: nails grew really long, lost and kept off 5 lbs. My mood changed for the better - less anxiety, didn't get as frustrated. My acne went from nothing to deep, painful pimples here and there the first month, but afterwards it went away. Hopefully, this review helps."

For Birth Control "Started this pill at the end of 2020, so it’s been about 4 months. I don’t really notice any side effects of it. Before I started it, I used to have bad depressive episodes, and I still do, but somehow I think it lessens once I took it. Period cramps used to be really painful for me before, but now it’s pretty much nonexistent. The first month or so was me adjusting, so I still felt some cramps, not anymore. My flow is also much lighter and lasts for a less amount of days. It used to last 7 days, now it’s about 3-4 days. I also don’t notice weight gain or more acne breakouts that are abnormal. I’m glad it works out for me. Remember it’s different for everyone."

For Birth Control "First and last time using this drug. I just started my 3rd pack and have been bleeding nonstop since week 2. It has made me emotional, sluggish, bloated, abdominal cramps, acne, and bad gas with multiple poops a day. I’ve never felt this bad before, ever. Stopping the pill today and hoping to get my life back. DO NOT take unless you like to be miserable and in constant pain."

For Birth Control "I signed up for Pill Club and was prescribed Vienva. It is my first birth control, so I immediately went online to look up side effects and reviews. After reading, I was scared to death to get my prescription, knowing I can't change it for at least 2-3 months. Reluctantly, I did start taking it, as I did read some good reviews. I'm about to start my second month in about a week. I have yet to notice any major side effects. Maybe a tad bit more emotional and faint cramps here and there, but nothing too crazy. The only weight I gained was before I even started the pack and was my own doing. I know it's still early, but I think it's working well for me. Although I do understand everyone is different and will react differently."

For Birth Control "I started Vienva in September 2019. For the first month, I expected constant mood swings affecting me almost solely at night and abdominal soreness. After my first 3 weeks and skipping the placebos, I fell into a depression that was not pre-existing. This cost me personal relationships. For Birth Control "I have been through the nightmare that is birth control for the last 2 years. I have tried 6 different BCs and had horrible side effects from all of them, including bipolar depression, mood swings, weight gain, hair loss, loss of sex drive, and horrible cramping. I was put on VIENVA 3 months ago and was nervous because of negative reviews. All was going well, my sex drive was back up (I’m 26 and in a happy, loving, long-term relationship!), but I ended my period a week ago, and 3 days ago, I started having some slight spotting. On the 2nd day, I started bleeding HEAVILY, and here we are on the 3rd, and I am still bleeding! I have never in my life had breakthrough bleeding, but this is like I’m having a 2nd period! Horrible cramps, full-on 2nd period of the month! I will be switching. Again, everything else was amazing about this pill. It made me feel normal again, high sex drive, no side effects, until this third month when I’ve been excessively bleeding even after my period."

For Birth Control "Read these reviews before going on Vienva and didn't believe it one bit... until it happened to me. WORST BC EVER. Save yourself, please. I never got cramps from my period, and now this pill makes it worse and increased my migraines. It makes me extremely sensitive and emotional, which is not me at all, and has given me the worst 2 months of depression and overthinking and insecurities. Please do not take this pill and save your mental health because this pill made me feel like I was a crybaby and crazy."

For Birth Control "I was switched to Vienva from Orsythia by my pharmacy last month. I called my doc to make sure it was okay, and she said yes, they have the same active ingredients and may just have some different fillers and additives, but it should not affect me. I was upset because I had been on Orsythia for 6+ months with no problems at all. I just finished my first week of Vienva and have had some side effects. I feel nauseous a lot of the time, cramps periodically, increased anxiety, no appetite, fatigue, and get dizzy at times. I wasn't able to find any reviews of Vienva on other sites, so I'm leaving my review here to hopefully help others in the same situation. I'm going to try to stick it out and see if the side effects go away after a couple of months."

For Birth Control "Worst. Cramps. Ever. I started taking this to get control over my period, but now I bleed for 2 weeks at a time, which is insane, and it's HEAVY bleeding all 12 days! The cramps are so bad it'll make me stop what I'm doing and curl into a ball because of so much pain! I'm 5'2", 130 lbs, and am fairly active."

For Birth Control "I do not wish this brand upon anyone!! I’m so mad that I didn’t look up the side effects of Vienva sooner! I have been getting so mad at my boyfriend, sleeping for almost 10 hours every night and not wanting to get up, breaking out, having the worst cramps ever (which was why I wanted to take birth control because I’ve always had bad cramps), randomly crying and feeling like a piece of garbage all the time. For Birth Control "I had the worst periods. Cramps, nausea, dizziness, heavy bleeding, long periods, all of it. I gave in at 25 years old and went to get birth control for the first time in my life. The doctor gave me Vienva, and I was scared reading reviews, but I had to try it myself. I took the pill at night two hours before bedtime just in case I did get side effects, and I did go #2 more times than usual in the mornings at the beginning, but that was it. I didn't gain weight, wasn't 'depressed,' none of it. I am finishing my first period on it, and it took two and a half days to start bleeding, and I had minimal cramps and consistent regular bleeding. I had a semi-heavy day on the third day but nothing excessive. I am going to start my new pack today, and I am still spotting, hopefully, it stops by tomorrow."

"Please read this if you have PCOS. This Vienva pill works! I tried it for three months before reviewing it. I'm in my 40s, a mom, and have PCOS. I've had multiple ruptured cysts and sharp pains in my ovaries for 5 years. Nothing helped. Looking at surgery, I tried this as a last resort. If you are a 'typical' woman, maybe this pill isn't for you! But if you're one of those people who reacts to the various medications that seem to help everybody else, then please try Vienva! Nothing works for me the way it 'should.' IT'S WONDERFUL. I take it in the morning. I have zero nausea. Zero cramps. Zero cyst pain (yes, that's gone!). The first two days it felt as if my ovaries were on fire. Since that passed, it's been SO nice not to have pain there! This pill has changed my life. If you tend to overreact to 'normal' pills, and you have issues with your ovaries, I wrote this because I know how bad it can be! Best of luck!"

For Birth Control "I'm only going on 2 months on Vienva, and I'm done after this. It does its job of preventing pregnancy, sure, but the side effects are a killer! It increased my anxiety substantially, which is a problem as I already have GAD and panic disorder. My appetite swung from constantly starving to not wanting to eat a crumb. The abdominal cramping I get is severe, even worse than the cramps I got PMS-ing every month before I took this medication. And isn't birth control supposed to help relieve PMS symptoms? It certainly does not do that for me. It makes them 10 times worse. This is just my final straw here, and I will be stopping this medication."

For Birth Control "I was taking Vienva for 2 months. It's the worst pill I have tried. With that pill, I only sleep 5 hours or less and have a lot of cramping with my period. My skin has a lot of breakout pimples. I don’t recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "I've been on Vienva for a couple of months now, and the overall experience is really positive. I was on the minipill and bleeding all the time, and now I can have my period every few months if I want. No mood swings so far, which is a big positive for me. My appetite has definitely increased, which is not so good, but just know it's the BC and don't allow yourself to indulge every time, and you shouldn't have weight gain. My sex drive is back, which is great because I feel like I didn't have one on the minipill. I'm on my first period since starting it, and I will say my cramps are still pretty bad. Light bleeding until the third day, and now it's kind of heavy. I started taking this as protection against pregnancy, and it's done the job so far. If you're looking for something to help with intense cramps, I'd look somewhere else. But if you're looking for a good pill and your cramps aren't too bad, I'd definitely give this a try."

For Birth Control "I first started taking Vienva back in May, as I was having really bad cramping with my periods and decided to go back on birth control. I will say that it has helped a lot with cramping and same with acne. However, this month I have had so much breakthrough bleeding that it’s been the most annoying thing ever. Today I woke up and essentially have my period, again. I am only 4 days into my new pack of pills too, and was supposed to have my period last week. Which I did, but it was so light like it has been since I started. But today I had to use a super tampon! I don’t know what’s going on, but hopefully it’s a fluke and it will be normal again next month. If not, I’ll be switching for sure."

For Birth Control "I started Vienva several months ago as my first form of birth control. In the past month or so, I have experienced extreme anxiety at random times of the day. It feels like I do not have control of my own thoughts, and I spiral into thoughts of sadness. I'm not sure if this is 100% because of this medication, but nothing else in my life has changed, so it seems to be caused by this. It also hasn't helped make my period lighter at all. The only good thing this medication has done is lessen my cramps. I'm not saying Vienva will be bad for anyone, but I've felt crazy and depressed lately, and I'm finally starting to realize it might be because of Vienva. For Birth Control "I’ve been on Vienva for exactly a month now, and I am definitely switching. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow already. This pill has made my migraines 10x worse. The migraines will last anywhere from 24-36 hrs straight, along with nausea, tiredness, dizziness, throbbing head pain, and mild mood swings. I had awful cramps within the first week of taking it, and my period lasted 15 days. This pill is just awful. I will never take Vienva again."

For Birth Control "I was switched from Aviane to Vienva due to a problem with my insurance. This is by far the worst brand I have ever taken. Full-blown acne with three big cyst-like pimples on my temple region and bacne like crazy. Also caused cramping for two weeks. Awful. Can't wait to switch back to Aviane."

For Birth Control "I’ve now been on it for a month. No weight gain, if anything, it makes me eat less. My skin seems clear. My boobs feel like they have changed, although I see no difference. It doesn’t cause me to be tired either. The first week, I was extremely nauseous and had light cramping. Now, no nausea or cramping, but I started the pill when my period was supposed to start, and it delayed it for a week or so. Now I am on my period and have been bleeding nonstop for 10 days straight. I'm not sure if this is normal, but if it doesn’t stop by tomorrow, I'm gonna quit the pill."
