For Insomnia "I used to never have a problem sleeping; however, within the last year, I have been waking up in the middle of the night, and then it takes me several hours to fall back asleep (usually just before my alarm goes off). Now I take 1/2 a pill and I either sleep through the entire night, or if I wake up I am able to fall right back to sleep. I also feel good in the morning after taking 1/2 a pill. Unisom has been wonderful during this time in my life. Please note: When I take a whole pill, I am completely knocked out and lack motivation the next day."

For Insomnia "I only took half a tablet of Unisom. The recommended dose is 25 mg. It did not give me a deep sleep, instead, it made me feel horrible the next day. I felt so out of it, drugged up, lightheaded, and unable to function. I do not recommend this sleep aid at all."

For Insomnia "I'm a 43-year-old healthy female who has had recent spinal disc degeneration, so pain has been tough. Sleep was always a bit elusive except when exercise was a big part of my life; now sleep has gotten more unobtainable. I used to get a prescription for Ambien, but as predicted, it stopped working quickly with tolerance (non-addictive like Unisom, but habit-forming and awful on memory - be wary of zolpidem/Ambien). Unisom and its generic have contributed to depression and ill feelings. I think this is quite literally as the bottle reads, for occasional sleeplessness. Wishing it worked more regularly."
