Diethylpropion for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Tenuate time-released 75 mg for almost 3 weeks. I am down 9 lbs. I started at 130 and am now 121.4. I have noticed that it is not working as well now as it did in the first week or two. At the beginning, I was never hungry, I would have to force myself to eat something. Now, I have noticed the hunger pains. I am hoping to lose another 11 lbs."

Diethylpropion for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Tenuate for many years. It had initially helped me lose 40 lbs. I’ve been in a lot of pain, several back surgeries later, and use medical marijuana (MM) instead of a pain medication. MM, I think, increased my appetite. In any event, I’ve gained 25 lbs. After many years of use, the Tenuate isn’t as effective as it once was. But it has helped me for the last 10 yrs on and off the medication."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was on Phentermine and lost 60 lbs, down into my comfortable range, but then started gradually going up, plateauing 30 lbs up at 165. Doc put me on Tenuate for a month, and I immediately gained 6 pounds while remaining on the same low-carb diet. I was actually more hungry than normal."

Diethylpropion for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking 75 mg of Tenuate for 4 months now and have lost a total of 40 lbs and intend to lose another 15. I dropped the most weight during the first 2 months and then slowly added a few more calories to my diet to slow down the weight loss and back off the pills so that I don't put more weight back on when I'm totally off them. It takes discipline, and I now eat lots of fruits and vegetables. This pill is really amazing, and you do have to sometimes remind yourself to eat. There are some days (when I don't take the pill) that I feel hungry and eat more, so I always try to eat less the next day. So far, that's working. Since I'm 60 years old, my doctor has been monitoring me very carefully, but I've had no issues whatsoever."
