For Dyspareunia "After two months of using Intrarosa, my hair is falling out like crazy! I started wondering if it was thinning a month into using the product, but by the second month, I was sure of it. So was my hairdresser. Hairs fall throughout the day, and washing it sends me over the edge with anxiety—so much comes out! I know this is not listed as a side effect, but I can think of no other reason for this to be happening. I’ve always had very thick hair until I began Intrarosa. I stopped using it a month ago, and the hair loss continues...."

For Dyspareunia "I started using Intrarosa after it was suggested by my OBGYN. I used it every day for three months, and during this time I became very aggravated and mad at other people. I did not want any interruptions of any kind in my life. I gained 6 lbs.! I'm assuming that is because Intrarosa causes weight gain. The inserts are wrapped the opposite way as they should be. They should open from the bottom so you can stick the insert into the applicator without touching it. I used it at night as directed and did not have any problems with discharge except for the first time I urinated after inserting it. It did, however, take away all the pain I was having from sexual activity before and provided plenty of moisture when needed. I have also noticed my hairline receding and hair falling out. So my conclusion is... if I am fat and bald, nobody will want to have sex with me, so I am stopping Intrarosa. I would rather take something that has more clinical trials."

For Dyspareunia "After being off hormones, I could not have intercourse, it was too painful. I also suffered from incontinence and acute burning pain after urination, along with constant itching. My doctor prescribed Intrarosa, and after 2 months of daily use, I am again intimate with my husband without pain. No more incontinence or itching, a miracle really. But, I agree that the discharge is difficult to deal with. I put the suppository in at bedtime, usually get up once to urinate. I have purple stains on my toilet seat that are not removable, and on my sheets. I will have to wear underwear to bed with a pad. I always shower each morning, but have constant discharge, so wear panties and a liner each day. I wish the drug company would recommend a stain remover for their product. I have also experienced more hair loss in the past 2 months. I do feel that Intrarosa has restored my sexual intimacy in my 40-year marriage, and I am no longer incontinent of urine or having pain and itching."

For Dyspareunia "I have had painful sex for well over 10 years due to menopause. I was taking Estrace cream for a number of years, and it didn't help much. My doctor suggested Intrarosa. The discharge was horrible. I woke up to find my sheets were stained black. It took a while to figure out the stain was from my black panties spreading to the sheets, resulting from the discharge. I continued to use it for six weeks. I continued to experience a lot of discharge and then, after about a month, I noticed that my hair was excessively thinner. I was losing so much hair that my husband noticed that the vacuum was full every day and the roller was wound so tight with hair that he had to cut it off. I am lucky that I had extremely thick hair. It took about 3 months after I quit using Intrarosa before I returned to shedding normally. I can't say whether Intrarosa was effective for treating painful sex because my plan was to give it 3 months to become effective; however, I quit using it after six weeks."

For Dyspareunia "I'm only 45 and started having what at first seemed like a cross between a UTI and a yeast infection, but I was having no discharge. Soon after, I started having a constant pain, like everything down there was heavy, fatigued, and wanted to fall out. I also had no energy. My general practitioner tested for both UTI and yeast. Both were negative. After the exam, she said that she felt that my symptoms were related to starting menopause. My Ob/Gyn ran my annual labs plus tested my hormone levels, but she felt that I was too young for it to be that. Well, she was mistaken. She started me on Intrarosa 2 weeks ago, and in only a few days, most of the symptoms were gone. I can still feel a light burning sensation first thing in the morning, but it only lasts a short while and is very mild. But I didn't expect my body to heal completely in 2 weeks. I haven't had any of the side effects mentioned in other reviews, such as leaking, hair loss, or trouble sleeping."

For Dyspareunia "Immediately stopped using Intrarosa after 3 months and 2 weeks! I gained 14 lbs, started losing my hair on the top of my head! Had night sweats and hot flashes and felt so tired! I would take a 3-hour nap after work for nearly 2 weeks, and I did not figure out why until I stumbled upon this website! Nothing brought back what menopause had taken away from me, I told my honey that lust has given way to trust, and we are good."

For Dyspareunia "At first, Intrarosa worked. I was thrilled. Too many UTI episodes and could not sit or walk. I was in pain. So, the gyno said to give it a try. Then I began to lose hair, get moody, and began to burn, so I thought, what is the point of this? I stopped, then tried again. I had the same burning. Stopped, tried again, same burning. I think drugs affect everyone differently and we have a lot going on down there. It's not just one thing. It's complicated. So sadly, it did not work for me. I am going to order something else to see if that will help. And with migraines, I have to be so careful."

For Dyspareunia "Intrarosa helped in that it made sex a 'bit' less painful, but I am having significant hair loss and irritability. The residue did stain my pajamas, but OxiClean spray got them out. I started noticing a darkness around my pelvic area on my legs. Today I noticed odd dark spots on the top of my legs in my groin area. What is this? I have experienced weight gain, irritability, bloating, gas, major hair loss, and weird discolored spots in my groin area. I am so thankful to all the women who have shared their experiences. I was really troubled by the hair loss especially."

For Dyspareunia "I am 63 years old. I read the reviews before using and thought I would try it for vaginal atrophy, low libido, and bladder pain, but no UTI. The first few nights I had insomnia, and my doc said my body had to get used to it. The first 30 days brought relief from dryness and no more bladder pain. Into the second month, I gained 6 pounds and had to wear a larger bra due to swollen and tender breasts and larger underpants due to bloating that made me look 5 months pregnant! My hair was falling out, and I was exhausted all the time. I quit at the end of 3 weeks into my second month and had withdrawal symptoms. I have always been sensitive to hormone therapy but thought I would try it since my doc said I would probably not experience any side effects. I finally feel like myself again and am in my smaller size underwear. Never experienced any increase in libido. I’d caution anyone who is sensitive to hormone therapy to think twice before taking this-wish I had."

For Dyspareunia "I only rated this a 9 just due to the fact that I haven't had sex with it yet. I get aroused when situations arise, just haven't had full intercourse. My vaginal wall was so thin it flaked during medical exams. After just 2 months on Intrarosa, my vaginal wall is strong and healthy. Looking forward to experiencing sex again. Did have some hair loss at first, but that has stopped. Love this product. I am not sure if the vitamin E suppositories make the body naturally produce estrogen and progesterone, so I would say I'll stick to this product. Happy patient."

For Dyspareunia "I have been on Intrarosa for 5 months. There is a very good improvement with my vaginal atrophy/GSM issues. But noticed a severe hair loss. Only now I realized it started very soon, after 5-6 weeks of use. Unfortunately, I did not connect it with this. I stopped 3 days ago. From other reviews, I understand it will take time until my hair will grow back."

For Dyspareunia "I used this for about 4 months and, even though my doc said this wouldn’t have any side effects, I believe it triggered moderate hair loss. I discontinued 6 months ago and am still trying to treat my hair loss."

For Dyspareunia "Did not help at all! Itching continued. Ruined all my underwear with a waxy substance. My hair is breaking off and thinning. (Used to be quite thick.)"
