For COPD "Been using Breztri for three months now, this medication works better for me than any other medication that I have tried. My only concern is the yellow dispenser, sometimes no medication will come out. You can push two or three times and nothing, but the counter keeps moving forward. I have tried everything to make it work, but nothing seems to help. I hope they change their dispenser."

For COPD, Maintenance "The yellow dispenser is a huge disappointment. Compared to the white dispenser, it has less medicine with each puff, lasts less time, and often dispenses air only. I have had to cut back or cease many activities. Please restore use of the white dispenser and include enough medicine so it does not give out during the last 10 to 20 puffs."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have asthma or COPD after COVID pneumonia. I am getting a feeling of inflamed lungs, and my throat is burning. Also, I feel like I can't clear my throat. And I get shortness of breath randomly. Anyone else have this? Please help."

For COPD, Maintenance "Before I started on Breztri, I couldn't grocery shop, walk to the car from a store, walk outside in my own backyard, and I had to stop going to my favorite beach because I couldn't take more than 2 steps in the sand. Now, I'm shopping on my own, walking in my yard, and swimming in my pool without having to stop and wait 30 minutes before I can walk far enough to lie down. I haven't had to use a rescue inhaler in months. I am so satisfied with Breztri and will take it as long as it's working this well. I've been using it for just under 2 years. No side effects."

For COPD "Have been using Breztri for close to 2 years. There continues to be a malfunction with the inhaler itself. Sometimes it will not dispense a dose and you have to activate 2 or 3 times to get the medicine to disperse. I have tried cleaning as instructed but no resolution. This has happened numerous, numerous times. I have contacted AstraZeneca multiple times to complain about this issue but they still have not fixed the problem. I think it's time to change to a different COPD medication. Too bad because it works well for me."

For COPD, Maintenance "I think the medicine works well. I have some side effects, such as trouble sleeping, coughing, muscle aches, and cramps. The biggest problem is the dispensary. I don't know if it's giving me a full dose, half a dose, or no dose. When I try spraying it to see how much comes out, it's very little. They need to fix the inhaler immediately for us poor people that have COPD. Thank you."

For COPD "I like Breztri for COPD breathing, but it's difficult to talk when I use it. I went back on Anoro Ellipta for a while, but due to the cost since my advantage plan doesn't cover it, I went back on Breztri, taking one dose in the morning and one dose in the late afternoon. Again, my voice is raspy and barely heard. Yes, I breathe better, but I can't talk. I may go back to Anoro Ellipta again. Wondering if anyone else has this problem."

For COPD, Maintenance "I've been using Breztri for a couple of months now. It works very well, but only for about 8 hours and its effects wear off. It does not last 12 hours. If only a dose could be added, it would be great! The delivery system feels unreliable. It does not feel like it gives 2 full puffs. It's very scary and too expensive for this to happen."

For COPD, Maintenance "I'm having mixed reviews of Breztri so far. Previous reviews are very positive, but I have not seen a dramatic improvement so far (3 months). My biggest complaint of a drug that retails for over $600 is the counter mechanism. For this price, this should register each dose as taken instead of every 10 doses. I realize this is probably the most expensive part of this inhaler, but it's important to be able to see exactly how many doses are left. Also, it seems less effective when you get to 20 doses."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have COPD (emphysema and asthma). Ever since I started Breztri (April 2022), I have had sudden breathlessness. It just hits me for no reason. For the longest time, I thought maybe I was having anxiety, or this is what having COPD is like. I had told my doctor multiple times, but he didn't mention any changes I should do other than using my nebulizer more. UGH! I thought it was what everyone was calling a flare-up, so I would get antibiotics and prednisone to treat it. Finally, I convinced my doctor that it could very well be Breztri that was causing my breathlessness. He put me back on what I came there a year ago on (Symbicort and Spiriva), and although it's only been a couple of days, I have not had any episodes of breathlessness. Yes, I get out of breath, but that's much different than feeling like your heart is racing and you can't catch your breath. I guess something in Breztri does not agree with me."

For COPD, Maintenance "I am a 71-year-old female. Taking the prescribed 2 puffs morning and night caused too many negative side effects. I myself, after 2 days, cut it down to one puff daily in the morning. It worked great. I could finally breathe, I could take a full breath. I could go to the gym, do gardening, and walk my dog for over one mile. I finally got it down to taking one puff every 3 days. I have stage 3 COPD. You have no idea how elated I am. I also stopped smoking the minute I found out I had COPD. It has been miraculous for me."

For COPD, Maintenance "At first it seemed great because I could take a deep breath and effects lasted mostly 12 hours, eliminating the need for another inhaler. By the end of March, I experienced a bad case of thrush (1st in years) followed by congestion and excessive mucus, and then a frequent cough with very productive mucus, and now a very irritated throat! Also, I'm having many other side effects, like sore mouth, tongue, joint pain, back pain, etc."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have COPD and was given a sample from my doctor. It worked great. I was breathing much better than I have for a long time. Unfortunately, when my doctor sent in my prescription to the pharmacy and I went to pick it up, I was told that my Medicaid wouldn't pay for it. I am very disappointed. It helped me tremendously. Good drugs should not be only for the wealthy. I'm very sad that I don't have access to this drug that I need."

For COPD, Maintenance "I am very happy with Breztri. It has helped me tremendously! Better than any other inhaler I have used. However, I can no longer afford this medication. Thanks to my Medicare and supplemental insurance, along with WellCare drug insurance, I will not live much longer as they will not pay for this or any other inhalers I need. Thanks to pharmaceutical prices, I will say goodbye now!"

For COPD, Maintenance "I have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and find Breztri seems to work as well as other medications I have tried in the past, however, the dose counter is ineffective. I have read many reviews that the medication loses its effectiveness over time. This may be because it shoots out more than the rated 120 doses, possibly up to 140 or more. I do not believe that you receive the full dose after 120 doses. To ensure that I receive the correct dose, I write down the date when I start a new package and the date 30 days later when I would have used it 120 times. At that point, I discard the medication and open a new one. I would suggest anyone taking this medication do the same, as it is frustrating to pay for medication that does not work correctly."

For COPD "I have taken it for 3 months now and at first I thought it was a miracle as Breo Ellipta did absolutely nothing for me. Except make me cough and hoarseness in my voice. Since taking the Breztri for a few months now, I told my wife, 'I'm not right. Something is wrong. I still have trouble breathing after walking and I cough a lot.' I wake up with headaches and I just feel in a daze. That's not right. The inhaler sometimes lets the medicine just go up in the air and sometimes hardly anything comes out."

For COPD "Been using it for 8 months after switching from Symbicort/Spiriva. Seems to work as well, the latter is no better. The yellow breathers are terrible, as half the time it doesn't give you a puff, and the counter is way off, which makes it show you are taking more than you really are. After 2 weeks of use, it seems you are getting weak puffs. This medicine is really expensive."

"I was wondering why I was feeling tired and nauseated and felt like I had something in my throat that I needed to clear constantly. However, I continued to take it, and I started developing a cough. I finally looked up the side effects, and there they were. Now I know why I was having all those symptoms. I'm not taking it anymore."

For COPD, Maintenance "At first, it worked wonderfully. I had zero complaints. But I have 2 issues. After about a week, I noticed I began to cough again. Second, about 3 or 4 days after I started using, I developed insomnia. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in weeks. It takes me hours to fall asleep, and then I wake up after a few hours. This happens usually a couple times a night. I have to use my rescue inhaler to have a chance at falling asleep as this stops the cough for an hour or two. But the insomnia is making me tired, cranky, and generally miserable. I really hope this passes, I don't know how much more I can handle."

For COPD "I was taking Trelegy Ellipta for my COPD, but wasn't convinced it was the best medication available - so I decided to try Breztri. After using Breztri for a month, I switched back to Trelegy. I found Breztri to be less effective and just as expensive as Trelegy. Additionally, the inhaler was less functional and seemed to be of 'inferior quality. I realize others will have different results and opinions, but I am perfectly satisfied that I switched back to Trelegy."

For COPD "Since using the new yellow dispenser, I cannot keep my oxygen level up. New units do not deliver the same as the white units did. They are harder to shake and at times feel like only air is coming out. I rate it a 1 out of 10! Go back to the white one."

For COPD "My doctor switched me from Symbicort to Breztri. Looking at the reviews, I must be an outlier because I couldn’t tell if I had taken it and/or felt worse, whereas with my old inhaler there was a noticeable positive difference."

For COPD "I've been using it for a year now for my COPD and emphysema brought on by acute COVID lung. Before I started on this medication, I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs or even take the trash out without nearly losing consciousness. It's very expensive, but my doctor gave me a prescription discount card from the manufacturer, which in conjunction with my insurance, made it very affordable. It has changed my life and given me a second chance. I work a physical labor job and I'm again able to perform at a high level. I can even run on the beach with my dog again. To avoid the sores in the mouth and throat that people complain about, I brush my teeth and gargle water after each of my twice-daily doses. I literally believe I might be dead today if not for this medication."

For COPD "My pulmonary doctor put me on Breztri Aerosphere and said to take two doses a day. The first day was fine and worked pretty well. On the second day, I took the first dose and ended up passing out. It is a good thing my son was home, as he called 911. An ambulance came and got me, and I woke up the next day in the hospital. Breztri Aerosphere is not for me. I'm glad to hear it works well for others. I don't know why it didn't work for me."

For COPD, Maintenance "In the past 10 years, I have been on three different inhalers for my COPD. They were all very expensive, as is Breztri. I am on Medicare so I do not get much of a cost break. I have been on it for over 9 months now and it is truly amazing at controlling my illness compared to any of the others. I do have an issue with the new style. It sticks, is harder to push down, and does not seem to distribute the medicine as well as the other style. This is the third month using it. Does anyone else have this issue?"
