"The yellow dispenser is a huge disappointment. Compared to the white dispenser, it has less medicine with each puff, lasts less time, and often dispenses air only. I have had to cut back or cease many activities. Please restore use of the white dispenser and include enough medicine so it does not give out during the last 10 to 20 puffs."

"I have asthma or COPD after COVID pneumonia. I am getting a feeling of inflamed lungs, and my throat is burning. Also, I feel like I can't clear my throat. And I get shortness of breath randomly. Anyone else have this? Please help."

"Great medication, but the inhaler doesn’t dispense a full dose! The first puff will feel like air, and the second I feel like I get more medication. I see a lot of people saying the same thing in these reviews. The device needs to be redesigned! The medication works when dispensed correctly! I feel like this needs to become a legal issue with the amount of reviews saying the same thing."

"I've been using Breztri for a couple of months now. It works very well, but only for about 8 hours and its effects wear off. It does not last 12 hours. If only a dose could be added, it would be great! The delivery system feels unreliable. It does not feel like it gives 2 full puffs. It's very scary and too expensive for this to happen."

"Before I started on Breztri, I couldn't grocery shop, walk to the car from a store, walk outside in my own backyard, and I had to stop going to my favorite beach because I couldn't take more than 2 steps in the sand. Now, I'm shopping on my own, walking in my yard, and swimming in my pool without having to stop and wait 30 minutes before I can walk far enough to lie down. I haven't had to use a rescue inhaler in months. I am so satisfied with Breztri and will take it as long as it's working this well. I've been using it for just under 2 years. No side effects."

"I think the medicine works well. I have some side effects with sleeping, coughing, muscle aches, and cramps. The biggest problem is the dispensary. I don’t know if it’s giving me a full dose, half a dose, or no dose, and when I try spraying it to see how much comes out, it’s very little. They need to fix the inhaler immediately for us poor people who have COPD. Thank you."

"I'm having mixed reviews of Breztri so far. Previous reviews are very positive, but I have not seen a dramatic improvement so far (3 months). My biggest complaint of a drug that retails for over $600 is the counter mechanism. For this price, this should register each dose as taken instead of every 10 doses. I realize this is probably the most expensive part of this inhaler, but it's important to be able to see exactly how many doses are left. Also, it seems less effective when you get to 20 doses."

"At first it seemed great because I could take a deep breath and effects lasted mostly 12 hours, eliminating the need for another inhaler. By the end of March, I experienced a bad case of thrush (1st in years) followed by congestion and excessive mucus, and then a frequent cough with very productive mucus, and now a very irritated throat! Also, I'm having many other side effects, like sore mouth, tongue, joint pain, back pain, etc."

"I have COPD (emphysema and asthma). Ever since I started Breztri (April 2022), I have had sudden breathlessness. It just hits me for no reason. For the longest time, I thought maybe I was having anxiety, or this is what having COPD is like. I had told my doctor multiple times, but he didn't mention any changes I should do other than using my nebulizer more. UGH! I thought it was what everyone was calling a flare-up, so I would get antibiotics and prednisone to treat it. Finally, I convinced my doctor that it could very well be Breztri that was causing my breathlessness. He put me back on what I came there a year ago on (Symbicort and Spiriva), and although it's only been a couple of days, I have not had any episodes of breathlessness. Yes, I get out of breath, but that's much different than feeling like your heart is racing and you can't catch your breath. I guess something in Breztri does not agree with me."

"I have COPD and was given a sample from my doctor. It worked great. I was breathing much better than I have for a long time. Unfortunately, when my doctor sent in my prescription to the pharmacy and I went to pick it up, I was told that my Medicaid wouldn't pay for it. I am very disappointed. It helped me tremendously. Good drugs should not be only for the wealthy. I'm very sad that I don't have access to this drug that I need."

"I am a 71-year-old female. Taking the prescribed 2 puffs morning and night caused too many negative side effects. I myself, after 2 days, cut it down to one puff daily in the morning. It worked great. I could finally breathe, I could take a full breath. I could go to the gym, do gardening, and walk my dog for over one mile. I finally got it down to taking one puff every 3 days. I have stage 3 COPD. You have no idea how elated I am. I also stopped smoking the minute I found out I had COPD. It has been miraculous for me."

"I am very happy with Breztri. It has helped me tremendously! Better than any other inhaler I have used. However, I can no longer afford this medication. Thanks to my Medicare and supplemental insurance, along with WellCare drug insurance, I will not live much longer as they will not pay for this or any other inhalers I need. Thanks to pharmaceutical prices, I will say goodbye now!"

"I have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and find Breztri seems to work as well as other medications I have tried in the past, however, the dose counter is ineffective. I have read many reviews that the medication loses its effectiveness over time. This may be because it shoots out more than the rated 120 doses, possibly up to 140 or more. I do not believe that you receive the full dose after 120 doses. To ensure that I receive the correct dose, I write down the date when I start a new package and the date 30 days later when I would have used it 120 times. At that point, I discard the medication and open a new one. I would suggest anyone taking this medication do the same, as it is frustrating to pay for medication that does not work correctly."

"Much better than prior maintenance products. Started taking about 6 months ago and my use of emergency inhaler dropped significantly. I can do more without running out of breath. However, the dispenser is terrible, it clogs almost daily, it's hard to push down and is very tight in the canister. At times, it seems or appears that the drug does not dispense properly. It notes that you need to rise the canister weekly to clear it, you really need to do that almost daily."

"At first, it worked wonderfully. I had zero complaints. But I have 2 issues. After about a week, I noticed I began to cough again. Second, about 3 or 4 days after I started using, I developed insomnia. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in weeks. It takes me hours to fall asleep, and then I wake up after a few hours. This happens usually a couple times a night. I have to use my rescue inhaler to have a chance at falling asleep as this stops the cough for an hour or two. But the insomnia is making me tired, cranky, and generally miserable. I really hope this passes, I don't know how much more I can handle."

"The medication works great when you can get it to administer the way it says for dosage. More than often, it doesn’t dispense at all the first time. Priming it before every use is wasteful and shortens the prescription length. Side effects are tremors for about 4 hours."

"I have a lot of the symptoms with regard to this inhaler. Exhaustion, shortness of breath, general fatigue, and discomfort in back between shoulder blades - more coughing and some sputum. I feel I need to be more active - just feeling unmotivated."

"Been using Breztri for about 3 months. It helps with breathing, but I seem to have a lot of side effects. Very nervous, trouble sleeping, fatigue, and muscle and joint aches. Was using Symbicort before, and had some effects from that also, but not as severe. Also, it's very expensive considering how poorly it dispenses doses."

"When I actually get full doses of the medication, I'm happy with the way it works compared to using the budesonide/Spiriva combo. The problem is with the inhaler design, which often delivers a very brief air puff rather than a metered dose, and clicks the meter forward anyway. Not sure how long I'm willing to put up with defective inhalers."

"I used Breztri only twice, and my kids had to call 911, and I ended up in the hospital. The first time was okay. But the second time, after one inhalation, it knocked me out. I'm happy this works for some, but it didn't for me."

"I have suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and emphysema for over 10 years. I became disabled 2 years ago and wasn't able to walk more than 14 steps without being out of breath. I found a different pulmonary doctor, and he put me on Breztri. I have been taking it for 2 weeks now, and it has changed my life. I can breathe and walk now."

"As with another reviewer, I am a veteran and get a reduced price through Tricare for Life. It has worked much better than any other maintenance med I've used before. I have been using it since August 2021."

"I use Breztri inhaler as a COPD maintenance inhaler. I pay out of pocket almost $500 for 3 inhalers. Ever since I started using Breztri inhalers, the inhaler does not work properly, and I cannot get my full dosage, hence, I am using my inhalers up before the allotted time. I have complained to AstraZeneca numerous times. I am going to talk to my doctor about going to a different inhaler."

"In the past 10 years, I have been on three different inhalers for my COPD. They were all very expensive, as is Breztri. I am on Medicare so I do not get much of a cost break. I have been on it for over 9 months now and it is truly amazing at controlling my illness compared to any of the others. I do have an issue with the new style. It sticks, is harder to push down, and does not seem to distribute the medicine as well as the other style. This is the third month using it. Does anyone else have this issue?"
