Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have had Scalp psoriasis for over 20 years, and about 10 years ago developed it in my ears as well. I was able to calm the scalp psoriasis for a long time with Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy, but nothing was helping with my ears - They were so bad with plaques at times I couldn't hear well, and forget wearing a headset for work! 3 days ago my doctor prescribed Taclonex after so many other things didn't work. Today I was able to wear ear buds for the first time in 5 years. As for my scalp, it started flaring up about a year ago, so I'm using Taclonex on my scalp as well. I don't notice as much change on my scalp yet, but I do notice a reduction in itching. Drawback - Very greasy in the hair, hard to wash out."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I applied Taclonex for over a year. It sooths and moisturizes the skin but consistent improvement did not happen. My Psoriasis seemed to flare up and then subside without any direct impact from this product. It is expensive!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I've been struggling with scalp psoriasis for 4 years and tried the OTC treatments, but nothing has worked! My dermatologist prescribed me this medication and I started applying it 2x/day on my scalp and I started seeing major improvements within a week! I've stopped scratching my scalp now and I've been happy to have this relief. Gone are the days when I would be scratching my scalp constantly and my back would be full of dandruff. I also have guttate psoriasis on my legs and trunks. The results aren't as effective and instant compared to ones on my scalp so minus 2 stars! I wish it helped clear the pink spots up right away though! Ugh, it's like acne on your legs, but more stubborn!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have been on Taclonex and urea cream for my psoriasis for over a year now. I have also been receiving light therapy and laser light therapy as well, and it has still not cleared up. Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced the same thing as myself and have they tried anything else. Sick of Psoriasis...."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I developed psoriasis after the birth of my first child. It responded well to Taclonex, but I had to stop using it for my second pregnancy. My elbows, and now the tops of my feet, became really bad recently and I called for a new prescription. After weeks of terrible discomfort it is almost cleared in a few days time. I have never experienced any side effects. I love this medicine."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "Taclonex Susp. has turned my life around! I primarily use it on my scalp and sometimes on the cuticles of my toes. I no longer look like a walking dandruff commercial. In the beginning, I did use it about 3-4 times in a row, at night. Then I'd shampoo with a product that had salicylic acid in it. After about 6 months, I didn't need to use the Taclonex as often. It has become an "as needed" medication for me. When my scalp starts itching, it's time to start using the Taclonex Susp. I did get a Zero Co-Pay card my derm and have not paid anything for this. Do have psoriasis everywhere else."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "First tube working well, elbows and knees clear. Butt and back of legs showing signs of improvement. Doctor gave zero co-pay coupon or I would not be using this medication. Insurance people think a 60 gram tube should last three weeks."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This was prescribed to me for scalp psoriasis after trying a medical shampoo and another topical lotion with no relief from the itch and flakes. I found within the first few applications it relieved the itch and got rid of about 90% of the plaques on my scalp. I have been using it for almost a month now and its made a worlds difference for me! The only reason I've not given it a 10/10 is how greasy it is, its hard to apply and much harder to remove from my hair. After trying a couple of things I've found that the trick is to use baby oil to break down the stickiness and use dish soap to wash it out (I do this step at night before bed) then in the morning I use Loreal's extraordinary clay hair mask to absorb the remaining baby oil!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This was an absolute miracle. I’m 43, and I’ve had scalp psoriasis off and on since I was 15. In the past, medium to high potency topical steroids cleared me up in about two weeks. However, I had been experiencing a flare up for the past three years and topical clobetasol hadn’t helped. My next treatment option would have been methotrexate, which I was extremely leery of taking, but my dermatologist prescribed Taclonex scalp and I felt relief even after the FIRST application. My scalp was completely cleared in three days, except for a few scabs from my constant itching and picking. Unbelievable."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "Would not recommend to anyone- whilst using Enstilar my skin cleared up and was almost completely gone however, after I stopped using it my skin flared up to the point where it is now the worst it has ever been! It has spread so much and I have new patches of psoriasis in areas of my body where I never had it before e.g. on my arms- please avoid if you haven't started using it yet- it isn't worth it for very temporary results!"

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This stuff is made of nightmares. The rebound is terrifying. The only reason I can think its so worse than daivobet is that the spray puts a fine mist of enstilar all over your skin and furniture. It's impossible to apply it locally to plaques. But that's just a guess, I can only give personal experience, every time I use this stuff my psoriasis comes back 10 times more aggressive. My psorasis was never as bad as it is today until I started this stuff, ended up on biologics. It works in the short term, but in weeks you're begging the doctor for pills or injections. Never again."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have psoriasis for the last 18 years (currently 34). For a long time, it was only on the scalp, but later it decided to visit me in multiple places (lower legs, torso). I've tried multiple solutions in the past like Dovobet, Xamiol for the scalp, etc. Last year, my doctor prescribed me Enstilar - in the beginning (like most of the people here) I was delighted. I tried it both on the scalp and body and it worked amazingly well! However, once I stop using it (either because I feel clean or because I run out of the product), psoriasis comes back much more aggressively. For me, it still works. Once I apply it, the next day I feel much better and with 3-4 applications, I can clear the plaques. However, the problem is that I now have psoriasis in places I never had before and it feels like I need to use Enstilar daily or every other day. I don't know if Enstilar is the reason for psoriasis appearing in new places, it could be age, lifestyle, stress, weather, etc. But for sure, my psoriasis does come back once I stop using it."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "For the first week on Enstilar, I thought it was helping my Psoriasis, but after two weeks, it was definitely getting worse. Stopped using it after two weeks as the psoriasis was redder with larger patches....some even appeared infected. I know it is the Ensilar because I did not use the product on my arms and they are fine. I used the most on my lower legs and a little on my upper legs and the lower legs are significantly worse than the upper legs."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have pretty bad psoriasis. It was mild at first and I was prescribed Taclonex and Desonide which worked like a charm. I changed insurances and they didn't cover Taclonex so my psoriasis spread like wild fire. What is worse is I am getting married in less than a year and it is very noticeable on my arms. I finally got the insurnace company to grant me an exception so I have begun using Taclonex religiously! I hope it clears by my wedding."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have used Enstilar many times and yes it does work wonders in just a few days. I apply it every night and let it dry for 20 minutes before I apply moisturizer. I do this every day for 2-4 weeks and then I go to just applying it twice a week. The only problem is that psoriasis starts coming back when I only apply it twice a week and if I quit then psoriasis gets even worse than it was, to begin with. It is also so messy and sticky so it is not that easy. I like it but at the same time, I feel like it’s not worth it because psoriasis just comes back after a while."

"Fantastic product! I have, like most, tried everything. Orals, topicals, injectable, etc. This cleared me up quickly (at least the spots I could reach). Within a month large plaque areas were smooth and flesh tones. While other lesser spots were gone leaving the dark patch of my past spots. It leaves a "waxy" feel when applied but not the ointment feel of others at all. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone."

"I've had psoriasis for over 30 years. When I first used this product it worked wonders but lately it has been really aggravating my skin so I stopped using it. For my scalp psoriasis, my dermatologist suggested that after I wash my hair I should dry it fairly quickly. This small change in my routine has reduced my scalp psoriasis by about 80%."

I wish I was a rep for this remedy. My experience has literally been life altering! So far I have experienced NO noticeable side effects."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This stuff is the only thing that works for me. I live in a sunny country and still get it on my face, jawline and around the ears. When I start to feel it coming back I spray this once a day for a few days and it’s gone. Same effect on genital region too. Elbows and knees are more stubborn and it’s like 40 bucks a can so I only use when it starts to itch. I tried the oil based version of this and it’s not as effective, there’s something with the delivery medium in the can that makes it work."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I’ve had psoriasis for about five years now and have been recently prescribed Taclonex. I have to say it is amazing and really helps my scalp psoriasis. Although, it is important to wash hair once a week with a strong anti-plaque shampoo as Taclonex can only do so much for so long."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "Have been using for psoriasis on my feet for a week now. The cold spray feels good to my itchy, dry , cracked feet. I can already tell it is working faster than the Clobetasol ointment I have used for years. I paid $75 for one 60gram can. More than I want to pay, but better than other prices I am seeing here."
