What is the protocol for using niacin for depression, and how quickly does it work?

I've read niacin helps depression. Can I please have more detail around dosage, how quickly can I build up the dose, and do I need to add vitamin C. I'd also like to hear some testimonies around effectiveness.

I have been taking benicar and lipitor every evening. Recently, I started taking low dose aspirin every evening also. Tonight I took a claritin for an insect bite. Can I still take my nightly pills? Also, I read where you can't take benicar when you are taking aspirin. Is thus true?

Can BuSpar have an immediate effect?

I just started taking 10mg Buspar this morning for generalized anxiety disorder. I know this drug is supposed to take 2-4 weeks to reach its max potential. About 15 minutes after my first dose, I felt a calming effect come over me. Is this normal?
