Linzess has stopped working for me?

Linzess stopped working for a week

I took Trulance with terrible unpredictability. Sometimes nothing, sometimes explosive diarrhea. Then took Motegrity that initially worked but stopped working after a month or so. Then started linzess to great success. However, every 3-4 months I had to increase the dose until taking the maximum dose. Now after 4 months, it no longer works at all. I've begun taking both linzess and Motegrity with very little success. No idea where to go from here.

I have used Linzess for almost 2 Months now & so far so good.

I am 72 and have had constipation problems most of my life. This last year the problem had become intolerable and I was given the Linzess recommended dose of 145 mg and it worked for about a month and now it has stopped working totally and found the need to add laxative to the mix. Anyone with any answers to this devastating condition?

No, it didn't restart effectiveness once it stopped working for me. I had to change drugs. The 2nd prescription didn't work after 2 weeks. My Doc recommended Benefiber which works. I now buy a discount store's version to save money. It's a fiber powder that totally dissolves in water. When you drink it, it's like drinking clear water. This continues to work for months now.
