I don't take tramadol but a urine drug test came up positive. I don't understand why.
Is there a mixture of medications that can cause a false positive.
The meds I take are:
Wellbutrin, Soma, Gabapentin, prazosin. propranolol, Seroquel, Prilosec, ibuprofen, and Combivent.

Answers
It may be the Seroquel (quetiapine) as it can cause false positive results for methadone and opiates. Tramadol is in the drug class of opiate (narcotic) analgesics.
I suggest you have a more specific drug test done.
Quetiapine can cause you to have a false positive drug screening test. If you provide a urine sample for drug screening, tell the laboratory staff that you are taking Seroquel.
