Hi, cynical!
The mean elimination half-lives are about 75 hours and 94 hours for aripiprazole and dehydro-aripiprazole, respectively. This means after 75 hours (94 hours) approximately 50% of your last dose remains in your system. After another 75 hours (94 hours) 25% will remain, etc.
The length of time it takes for your brain to adjust to not having it's imbalances corrected by the medication may take anywhere from days to weeks depending on many factors. Did you stop cold turkey, what dose were you taking and for how long, and your personal metabolism among others.
This is why you need to work closely with your health care professional to avoid any potential discontinuation symptoms.
