Before taking this medicine
You should not use Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Lemon Lime if you are allergic to it.
Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had:

are on a low salt diet.
Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Lemon Lime contains phenylalanine and could be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).
Ask a doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How should I take Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Lemon Lime?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Dissolve 2 effervescent tablets in at least 4 ounces of water. Stir and drink right away. Add more water to the glass, swirl and drink.
Adults and children over 12 should not take more than 8 effervescent tablets per day, and people over 60 should not take more than 4 effervescent tablets daily.
Stop using Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Lemon Lime and call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after taking the maximum dose for 2 weeks.
Ask a doctor before giving this medicine to children below 12 years of age.
Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. Keep out of the reach of children.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief Lemon Lime is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.
