"Have been on 2.5mg for 10 weeks. Weight reduced from 270 to 239. Goal is 205 at 6'0 not bad! Have not experienced the digestive side effects others have described. I did develop a small rash at injection site on week 9 and then on week 10 a slightly larger, more pronounced rash - looked like a large hive about 2 inches in diameter. Both of these did not materialize until 2 days after the injection then they quickly faded. A little worried that the rash/hive will be larger after my next shot and am not getting great advice on why it occurred."

"I have had no side effects while using Mounjaro for weight loss. It's not a miracle drug; you must diet and exercise to lose weight. I do eat less, which has assisted me in losing weight. I would recommend it over Ozempic. I tried Ozempic, but I had severe pain in my stomach."

"I am so excited about this effective medication for weight loss! Positively, I have lost 10 lbs. in 4 weeks on the lowest dose. It is easy and painless to inject. It has significantly decreased my appetite, which is the only thing that works for me when it comes to weight loss. I have been experiencing diarrhea for about a week now, which began after my third injection. I am hoping my body will adjust because I do not want to stop the medication."

"65-year-old with DM2, HTN, HL and sleep apnea. Been on Mounjaro for a year. Lost 45 lbs. I feel like I'm 20 years old again. Down to one medication for BP and one for DM. A1C went from 9 on 3 oral medications down to 5. Magic!! It does feel slightly less effective a year later, so I may have neutralizing antibodies, but I haven't started gaining the weight back. Exercise tolerance improved remarkably. Feel unburdened despite high-intensity career. Truly liberating! Magical."

"I started taking Mounjaro 10 mg on 07/17/23 weighing 194.5. I've only experienced some nausea and no other side effects. I'm seldom hungry and eat half of the amount I used to. I no longer crave sweets/junk food. I drink at least 64-90 oz of water a day. So far I'm very pleased with this medication. I'm down 7 lbs in one week."

"The 7.5 dosage worked great until I ended up in the hospital from diverticulitis, which caused sepsis. Dam near killed me. The Mounjaro slows down your digestive system, in turn letting everything sit on that little pouch called diverticulitis. If it sits there long enough, it can become irritated and then get infected, turning into sepsis! Do you see where I'm going with this? The Mounjaro was working great, but don’t use it if you suffer from any digestive issues. Lost 20 pounds in 20 days. Wished I could have kept using it."

"56-year-old female 5'1" tall. Taking Mounjaro for weight loss for the past 6 weeks. Starting weight 183. Current weight 176. Side effects mild constipation only. Dose 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks, then 5.0mg for the past 2 weeks. I am not losing weight nearly as fast as others here, but I’m happy with the reduced appetite and loss of about 1 pound per week. I am a bit surprised I haven’t lost more though because I have cut down on my food intake by about 600 calories a day so I would have expected to be losing 2 pounds a week. Plan to stay on this for a long time to come. Hope to lose 60 more pounds! Also, I didn't really notice any difference going from 2.5 to 5. I may just go back to 2.5."

"58-year-old female, 5'5, 255 lbs. Took my first injection of 2.5 mg on March 12, 2023. As of today, I've lost 35 lbs. I've had all the side effects on the list, but I've been able to counteract with over-the-counter medication, and I've got an amazing doctor I can text, and she'll respond almost immediately with advice. I'm up to the 12.5 mg, tolerating well. There is a shortage in the area I live, and I was told by the pharmacy that the 12.5 and higher would be back-ordered through the first of August. I've still got about 80 lbs to go, but this is the first and only thing I've taken in my entire life that has helped lose weight. I'm feeling better and looking forward!"

"I started taking Mounjaro last July and have lost 87 pounds to date. I'm pleased with it but have trouble getting it when I need it and at an affordable price because my pharmacy has it on back order or the Lilly discount coupon is no longer an option for me. I'm scared to come off of it or try something else since there are more side effects with the other drugs as well as the chance of those drugs being ineffective in weight loss or unavailable."

"I have always worked out a lot but never been thin. I even had gastric sleeve surgery, and don't eat very much but have always been overweight. My doctor gave me Mounjaro after trying Ozempic to help with metabolic syndrome. I have lost 45 pounds over a year, but I don't eat a lot and feel like I should have lost more. It makes me nauseous but I take Zofran usually twice a week. I cannot eat very much at all at one time. I think it makes me tired but nowhere near as bad as the Ozempic did. My Mounjaro experience has been much better than Ozempic. Ozempic made me exhausted, constantly nauseated, and constipated. Mounjaro does have the same side effects but they are not crippling. I take a probiotic and that has helped tremendously with the constipation. My hair is starting to fall out but I think that is because I don't eat enough protein, so I'm trying to do better. Overall I love it and hope I get to stay on it forever."

"Omg what an amazing, grateful experience I am having with this drug. I have had weight issues my entire life and I am 73. A life with the 'I have to eat noise in my head 24/7' is absolute torture. I have been 200 pounds, I have been 118 pounds but I can't stay at one weight for more than 10 years. I fight, fight, fight not to eat just to be slim and attractive. "I am currently taking Mounjaro. I was weighing 263 lbs in November 2023, and I have lost 93 lbs. I am at 170 now. I went from size 18 and 20 to size 12. I was on Ozempic and could not take that; it made me so sick. I have no problems with Mounjaro other than sulfur burps and a lot of gas. I have to make myself eat, and when I do, I only eat a bite of food. I am on the 7.5 dosage now, and I am so lucky that my insurance covers it, and my cost is $25.00."

"315-pound man, 64 heavy drinker, quit all booze, gained weight. Began rowing machine daily, gained weight. Counted all calories, 2500/day, no loss. A1C not bad 7, went on Mounjaro lowest dose 2.5. Have lost 40 pounds (!) in two months, eat anything and everything just way less and no desire to snack between. Still losing a bit, but feel plateau, may ask for larger dose. A miracle, has changed my life mentally and physically. Also, no desire to drink, a side benefit? I didn't do anything, this is all science. I pray it continues to work. Great delivery system. As long as I don't grow a third arm or have something fall off, I'm riding this thing as long as possible. Magic, feel strong, energetic."

"I have never had anything like this in my life! I was always small and IBW until I went through menopause. Afterward, I gained weight regardless of what I did. Nothing I tried and no program I did helped. Once I reached a size 22 on my 5'4 frame and weighed almost 230 lb, I decided to do something else.
