"Lost 4.6 kg (10 pounds) after 4 weeks of 2.5 mg. Now starting 5 mg. No side effects so far. I lost a little bit more at the same rate with Saxenda but the constipation was horrendous, so I like Mounjaro better, I think. I also noticed fewer pimple breakouts while I'm on Mounjaro, so that's a plus."

"It’s fantastic! I have spinal stenosis and sciatica. I gained so much weight not being able to have any mobilization. Mounjaro came to my rescue, and within 3 months, I lost 21 lbs. I’m healthier and lighter!"

"I am just starting this process. It has been 2 1/2 weeks on 2.5 ml. I have lost 9 lbs. I'm 55 years old, 5'7", 182 starting weight. Menopause kicked my butt, I could never lose more than 5 lbs. Negative side effects: headaches (which I've been prone to or sensitive to in the past), sometimes several times a day. I had mild diarrhea the first week and am now one week in with constipation. Mounjaro seemed to reduce my internal stomach size enormously. I don't have to remind myself to eat, like other people have said, but my body is on a delay and feels full 90 percent of the time - like I don't wake up ready for breakfast, it takes two hours to want to eat. What I do eat is a fraction of what I used to eat. For example, a small soup is plenty for lunch, yogurt for breakfast. It's definitely working for me, very happy. Good luck to everyone trying this:)"

"Maintained weight with Mounjaro nicely after Wegovy weight loss. I have not been sick and I can actually eat a normal amount of food, as opposed to Wegovy, which made me sick and I could only eat about 7 bites of food."

"I am 5'2", 41 years old, started taking the shot in November of 2023. Weighed in at 293, cried all the way home. Within a week lost 16 pounds. Here I am, almost a complete 4 months later, and down 72 pounds. Best thing I have ever done. No more snoring or waking up all hours of the night, and I have so much more energy. Yes, I have some constipation, but it is a small price to pay to feel so much better! Next month I will be on the highest dose. So, from here on out, it's up to me to keep it moving with healthy activity and diet."

"I've been taking Mounjaro 50 units for 3 weeks and I've lost 12 lbs. I weighed 180 when I started and now weigh 168. I've had no adverse side effects. I also have arthritis and Mounjaro has gotten me well enough that I have quit taking Humira for my arthritis. Mounjaro is a wonder drug. I love it."

"Just started using it for weight loss. While I'm only on Day 4 and haven't weighed myself, my appetite has decreased significantly. Have to remind myself to eat meals and when I do, it's in moderation. I no longer have a desire to binge-eat. Because it was for weight loss, my insurance only covered a portion of the cost."

"After years of dealing with type 2 diabetes and taking metformin, I finally managed to get my numbers under control long enough to get off the daily meds and control my condition with a proper diet. At the age of 68, after about 15 years of being quite obese and discussing the matter with my doctor, I began using Mounjaro. I started with a low-dose weekly injection and in a few months worked my way up to the full recommended dosage of 15 MG/0.5ML per week. It's been less than a year and I have lost 110 lbs and feel fantastic with no noticeable side effects. Mounjaro was not the first medication I tried, but it was the first one to really give me results. I chuckle at other meds I hear jingles about on television commercials and have my own jingle that comes to mind for Mounjaro every time, and I can't get it out of my head."

"I have lost 73 lbs in 7 months. I am not hungry, cranky, normal energy levels. I eat what I want, just greatly reduced portions and I am full. Fried & processed foods no longer taste good and I naturally migrate to healthier foods, fruits & veggies. My cholesterol numbers have plummeted and are all in the normal range, I no longer have acid reflux and I quit snoring. I've gone from size 40 waist to a size 32. XL shirts and underwear to Medium. I have not felt this good or had as much energy in 30 years."

"Mounjaro has been a blessing to me. I'm a 70-year-old male who was previously obese, had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. I've had 2 heart attacks and received stents, as well as a knee replacement. I started with a low dose and quickly moved up to 10, then 15, over 6 months. I started at 290 pounds and now weigh 215. I'm 6'1" with wide shoulders and frame. I'm no longer obese. I've been on 12 medications and now down to 5. Metformin was just reduced at night due to low glucose alerts in the early hours on my CGM. Mounjaro has improved my life. It's easy to use and WORKS."

"I'm on my 6th dose as of today. I started 12/30/2023 at 2.5mg for 2 weeks and then increased to 5mg on 1/13/2024. I have lost 12 lbs so far. Prior to starting this medication, I was unable to lose weight no matter what I tried. I even resorted to almost starving myself, but my weight kept increasing. It was a defeating experience. In my 40s, I was always slim, but in my 60s, my weight became a problem. I was diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome and was at risk of developing Pre-Diabetes. As I continue with the medication, I am learning about what foods I can and cannot eat due to the side effects. These side effects include feeling nauseous or having trouble with bowel movements. I have found that lean meat, vegetables, and whole fruits work well for me. I focus on consuming whole foods and avoid processed foods and sugar. I have also discovered that bananas help with my stomach issues. During weeks 2-4, I experienced instant headaches and occasional nausea. I have adjusted my eating schedule and now ensure that I eat early in the evening, with no food consumption after 6-7pm, except for fluids. Additionally, I have started taking Magnesium Gummies and occasionally having a piece of sugar-free hard candy to help with bowel movements and to combat any unpleasant aftertaste from certain foods sitting in my stomach."

"Done well losing weight but aware that I'm losing lots of lean muscle mass, not just fat. Lilly says in one clinical trial that 1/3 of the weight we lose is LMM, not fat. Might be more than this. I have a sense that the muscles in my legs are weak. A bit wobbly. They are very strong -- I can power walk for miles. I can do heavy weight-bearing exercises at the gym. But still some sense of weakness. Might it be a nerve issue, not a muscle issue? I am stocky. A tall friend of mine on Mounjaro had none of the feeling of weakness even though he lost 100 pounds. BTW, it's crucial to take a body scan before you start Mounjaro to assess your LMM and assess how much LMM you're losing."

"In 2023, I became concerned when I gained weight leading to me being 202 pounds. After my first Mounjaro shot, I felt appetite suppression immediately. 2 days later I made the mistake of eating greasy, cheesy pizza leading to nausea and I threw it up. Try to eat nutritious and less fried food on it. Also, I experienced severe cramps and diarrhea. It was just my first week though and I was notified that nausea and gastrointestinal intestinal are common for the first 1-2 weeks. It definitely gets better as your body gets used to it. As I have taken long gaps of 10-14 days in between doses, mild gastrointestinal problems still occur, but it’s definitely more manageable than before. Overall, I am very satisfied with this medication. I am much more in control of eating and don’t binge. I also lost 12 pounds in 5 weeks!"

"Very happy with this experience. Finally, something that works for me personally. I have not experienced any side effects with this medication. I am losing weight, which is the reason for me taking this medication. In two months I have lost a total of 17 pounds. I do have a lot more to go, but I am hopeful I will be able to reach my goal. Started at 2.5 first month, 2nd month 5. Mid Jan I will begin 3rd month. I am 75 years young. Thanks MJ!"

"6 weeks, 10 lbs down. I love this. It's better than the sleeve surgery that I also had because it not only fills you up with a few bites, but it completely eliminates the food obsession. You don't even think about food."

"I've been taking Mounjaro 2.5mg for 3 weeks now, and have lost a total of 22 lbs. When they say it kills the appetite, they aren't kidding! I struggle to get 800 calories a day, and most of the time, those are either from salad dressings or protein shakes. The side effects aren't horrible, just not fun either. The first 3 days after my shot, I've got constipation and no appetite at all, those are the days when I'll have a single 32 mg protein shake for the day - if I take in anything else, I feel like I've overeaten and get bloated and slightly nauseous - not worth it. Day 4 I start to feel really queasy and can't even stomach my shake. Day 5 comes the diarrhea, for the entire day. Day 5 and 6 I feel pretty good. I know it's a lot, but the symptoms haven't really caused me to do anything different - other than consumption of food. I live off of Gin-Gin chews (ginger chews) for the symptoms, and they are enough to keep everything at a low-grade annoyance."

"I'm a 53-year-old male and my weight has gone up slowly with each passing year, so the ladies at my doctor's office were telling me how they all were losing weight by taking the Mounjaro shots. I was a little bit worried at first because of the thought of having to give myself a shot. I barely felt it, so I started out on the 2.5 shots, and the only side effect I got was the burping sulfur taste. This is the absolute best thing I could have done, it's lowered my blood pressure, and I'm off the meds for that. I sleep better and feel healthier, the only bad thing is my clothes don't fit. I'm feeling better about myself. I'm now on the 10mgs, but each month I went up to a stronger dose, but I'm going to stay with the 10s as a maintenance shot. I don't feel hungry at all, I have no cravings, I have to make myself eat, and when I do eat, it's just a little bit at a time. You don't want to overeat on this or you will be sorry. I highly recommend it. A big thanks to the makers of Mounjaro. I've lost 40 pounds in 4 months."
