For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, as you will read, this product was the WORST. Five minutes after inserting the egg, it began to slowly tingle, which turned into an itch that turned into an intense burn. I sat in the toilet for a solid hour before the burn went away, and I think it's because the pain was so bad I was numb down there. LOL But I rated it a 5 because after that hour the pain was about a 1/10, and I didn’t feel itchy at all, and a day later I believe my YI was completely cleared up. I only recommend you use this item if you can push through some pain. Try taking something that will put you to sleep 30 minutes before inserting the egg. Also, not going to lie, reading these reviews helped a lot to ease the pain. God be with us all. LOL"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I inserted the Tioconazole 1 Day around 12. It eased the itching and burning. I still can feel tingling! However, now my lady parts are swollen. Trying to wait it out so I won’t have to go to the hospital!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Y'all. Okay. So I tried this about a year and a half ago, and it was awful. But I forgot about that and bought it again today and didn't remember my last experience until my best friend said something after I had already inserted this little egg from the pits of hell. I was fine for the first 3 hours, so I thought I was in the clear. Took a shower. Dried off. Then felt a little itchy, so I decided to apply the external cream before going to bed. Apparently, this cream is the detonator. Cue the most severe burning, itching, and tingling of my life. Scooped out what I could with a cold towel. Also, do NOT get any on your back end hole because that will burn too. Currently cooling off in front of my fan. Never again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I made an account here just to write a review on this product. Before taking this, I had already heard some bad things, but I decided to go ahead and try it anyway. Once I inserted the product, I started reading more reviews and literally went into a panic because of how bad people were saying this was. After about an hour, I felt a little tingly/irritation down there, but it wasn't painful, just a little annoying and uncomfortable. The second I felt that, I took two Tylenol extra strength, just in case this feeling started getting worse. I'm not sure if they prevented any pain or if the product just didn't get worse, but I wasn't in pain at all while using this. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe the Tylenol helped. Don't be scared of using this product because of all the reviews, there are plenty of people like me who are fine and probably don't take the time to review it as they have happily moved on with their lives (pain, burn, and itch free)!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG, had a little itching and redness, so decided to save a trip to the gyno and bought Monistat 1 cream-filled application. I took it at 9:00 PM. Within minutes, I felt tingling and burning but thought that was part of the process. I fell asleep and awoke a few hours later because I felt like I had something in between my legs, and the pain and burning were so severe. Got a mirror and screamed, my VJ was the size of a pear! I looked deformed, like nothing I ever seen. It was swollen 10 times normal size. I was laying on the floor crying. I read about how many other women this happened to, and one suggested a douche with cold water. Try to get the cream out, although so much already absorbed into the vagina. Helped a little. BEWARE."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I had a YI, and I bought the Monistat 1 because I used the Monistat 3 before, and I wanted a quicker recovery. So I used it, and I started reading reviews and freaked out. But I had a great experience, only a little itching and tingling, which is normal because it's cleaning you out. Nothing like the other reviews. Just make sure you have a YI. I think the people who had bad reviews didn't have a YI and had some other bacterial infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the Monistat 1 yesterday around 3 PM and didn't feel any tingling until 3 hours later. I have to agree that it is uncomfortable, but it is bearable. It has to get worse before it gets better. The cottage cheese-like discharge is starting to come out today, and it feels very uncomfortable. I will be much happier when the irritation inside the vagina goes away. I would still consider this product because the warning labels do say that the side effects cause intense burning."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I usually use the 7-day treatment. I thought the 1-day treatment would be awesome. If it cleared up in one day, sweet! But no. I can't even get to that point. It's itchy, tingling, burning, throbbing so bad. I want to scratch my insides out. Pure hell. And, of course, it's time to get some sleep and can't!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Had a yeast infection for about 3 days from having sex with my boyfriend number 2. (Don’t cheat on your boyfriend/husband, ladies, this is my karma). Before taking this medicine, my vag was extremely itchy and swollen all the way to my bum. Not gonna lie, this medicine is literally burning so bad inside of me. I’m sure the burning feeling is just the medicine working. My vag actually stopped swelling up and went back to its normal size, but this damn tingling feeling is annoying!!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this product before reading the reviews, and began to worry a little bit when I started to feel a tingly feeling. I came here and saw all the reviews, and to be honest, it sent me into a panic. I thought I was going to be in so much pain. Although I have to say it did get a little warm down there, it was never unbearable. The only downside is the discharge, but that was expected."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was reluctant to give it a try due to the reviews saying that I will perhaps feel burning or itchiness. I still decided to do it, I needed fast relief. I made sure to read the instructions carefully and also to put the pill as far in as I could. I think that helps best, make sure it’s put in well. I didn’t feel burning or itchiness, just a bit tingly. Nothing that bothered me. You get a white discharge, but that is the outer layer of the pill coming out, nothing to worry about. I feel cured, and I would definitely recommend this!! Loved it!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG! About 20 minutes after using it, I was on fire! I fell asleep probably about an hour afterward. I got up the next morning with some mild tingling. Pay attention to the dosage. The dosage for Monistat 1 is 1200 mg per one ovule. For 3 and 7 it is 200 mg per insert."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I’ve been dealing with YI for a couple of weeks straight, and it usually goes away a few days after my cycle begins, but not this time. I was very uncomfortable and opted to use Monistat 1. I read the instructions before using and inserted as far back as comfortable and did not have any issues with discomfort. I did notice discharge within an hour of insertion, but after the second hour of use, my vag was feeling better with some tingling from the medicine. I did notice a bit of itching while with discharge the first hour, and I used the cream to alleviate this. I think it was the YI being flushed out. After using cream, I felt better. After the second hour and with a fresh liner, I went to bed with no issues. It was definitely an improvement from the YI and symptoms from before using the medicine. Today is the next day, and about 14 hours later, I do feel some tingling sensation but haven’t felt fresher. I’m happy with the results so far."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Please save yourself and don’t buy this. I took this at 11 PM and it is now 5 AM, and I have woken up to the worst pain I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. So I came on the internet to look and see what other ladies' experiences were like, and sadly they were very much like mine. I’m in worse pain than I was before: tingling, itchy, burning, and swelling. I’m out of state and I couldn’t go to my normal primary to get this taken care of, and I’ve never had a YI before, so I was oblivious to what kind of hell was out there to treat this. It feels like I just shoved a ghost pepper inside of me, or someone said lava, or a fire-breathing dragon got stuck down there. All very accurate analogies. Someone said to take Benadryl and try to sleep it off, so I am trying that now. I’ll come back with an update in the morning."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I inserted the Monistat 1 egg at 11:30 PM, along with the cream on the outside. I didn't experience relief right away! I laid down and turned on a movie. About 10 minutes in, I started itching unbearably.... it started burning and tingling. I felt my heart beat deep inside my coochie. Ran to the bathroom, grabbed a washcloth and some Vagisil wash to try to wash it off. Made it worse!!! OMG! I ran and got my phone to see if I needed to rush to the ER because I'm 18 weeks pregnant and thought I was having an extreme allergic reaction. Come to find out it's normal, wish I would have read it before. Lord help us all! I don't know if it is going to do its job. I pray it will because I have a high pain threshold, I had three kids with no meds before, during, or after. And this is unbearable. Take this product at your own risk! Just know your vagina will be on fire, tingling, itching, and swollen. Mine is literally almost swollen shut. Hope this helps"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'd finished a round of the most aggressive antibiotics I've ever had in my life for a urinary tract infection (UTI). Despite my best attempts, I got a yeast infection, oh joy. I have meetings all week with state legislators, and I didn't think it would be appropriate for me to be rummaging around down there like a baboon, so I got the ovule. For the love of everything holy! I inserted it around 9:30 PM and laid down next to my husband. Within an hour, I could feel tingling but nothing extreme. I fell asleep no problem, but I couldn't stay asleep. I got up at 2:30, and I felt like Satan himself had set fire to me. I was on fire! I wiped as much off of myself as I could, and that helped a little. I'm afraid to try the cream! I laid back down, but my whole nether region and insides burn so badly there was no sleep to be had. It still burns like dragon fire in some areas. This morning at 6:30, I'm in tears! This stuff is advertised to ease the pain and discomfort, not set you ablaze! I wouldn't recommend it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased the Monistat 1 Day or Night 'egg.' After inserting the dose, I began reading all the reviews and almost panicked. Yes, there was some initial burning from the cream, but I had just peed bullets because of the irritation anyway, so the cream was nothing compared to that pain! I was wanting relief, so some additional onset of pain was welcomed. Only had a slight tingling sensation, but nothing like 'jump up and scream' that others are dying over on these reviews. Nothing awoke me in the night either. I woke up around 4:30 a.m. to use the bathroom and peed without pain. Yes, it's messy; but what do you expect when you're putting cream up your vagina? Overall product review was great! Gave an 8 for needing a second dose."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Not sure why so many people have such a horrible time with this product! Maybe I am just not as sensitive as others, or maybe my pain tolerance is higher, but I think it's great! I had a little tingling, but it was so much more tolerable than the YI itch! Put it in before bed, no issues, feeling so much better!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After a weird recurring yeast infection, I decided to finally pick up this treatment. Wished I had read the reviews before using, but alas. After inserting the medication before bed, I ended up waking up about 4 hours later to intense tingling and VERY sore vulva and vagina. I was finally able to go to sleep, and when I woke up in the morning, the soreness almost totally disappeared, but my vulva and vagina are really swollen. I panicked at first, but after reading the reviews, it seems to be a common occurrence. On the bright side, it already seems to be working for the yeast infection! I'll probably take some OTC anti-inflammatory to help with the swelling. But despite all that, I am actually quite pleased with the product."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I visited this website to see reviews after I had already purchased this product. I was TERRIFIED to use it after all of the negative reviews, but with me not wanting to waste my money and being in desperate need of relief, I braced myself and used it anyway. I sat and waited for the worst, but to my surprise, I did not experience anything of what was constantly described as this insane burning sensation. After 3 hours, I can say that for the most part, all I felt was a tingling sensation, nothing unbearable. I guess everyone is different.. the itching feeling was gone after about an hour of using the itch cream.. it has been 3 days, and I feel completely relieved, satisfied, and YI free!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started experiencing a little discomfort. I used Monistat 1, put it in at night, went to bed, and woke up the next morning with a little tingle and mild burning feel. By 7, the burning was gone. I could feel it had finally melted and begun to work. Would use again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I read your reviews before even purchasing the product... I normally see the doctor when having these symptoms but couldn't find the time this week. The previous reviews terrified and tickled me at the same time. I was LOL while reading but didn't want to experience the intense burning described. I decided I would wait for Monday to see my doctor and get the Rx pills until I spoke with a good friend and asked her if she ever tried it. She said she felt tingling but the next morning she was 100% better. My symptoms were mild but I was eager to get rid of them. So after speaking with her, I went to buy the Monistat 1. A few hours later, I felt the itchy tingling, but this morning I am 100% symptom-free! I would definitely use it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After reading the reviews, I was scared that I even inserted this medication! I did it right before I went to bed, watched some TV for a few hours before I fell asleep, and the only thing that I felt was a bit of tingly feelings here and there. I got up to use the restroom about two hours after insertion, and it began to come out. I used the restroom as quickly as I could and laid right back down. I woke up this morning with symptoms almost non-existent! Still a little swollen, but nothing the cream that was provided won't take care of!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the Target brand, which has the same exact ingredients. 30 mins after inserting the egg, I felt intense burning and itching, WAY worse than it was before insertion. My vagina felt swollen and like it was on fire. I put ice on it for 20 mins and then got a cool bath with Aveeno. I started to feel better in about 2 hours. I do not know if this will cure the infection, but regardless, I will not use this product again. It's not worth it. I'll call the Dr. next time for a pill. Currently, my vag feels swollen and tingly and burning, although the itching has almost gone away."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I developed a yeast infection and didn't want to deal with the 7 days of inserting the medicine, so I tried Monistat 1, and after applying it I read the reviews, and they were HORRIBLE! But do not let them scare you because I had little to no burning at all! Just a mild tingling sensation. In two days, I started to notice relief. Wear a light panty liner for a few days. This product worked extremely for me, it all depends on how it reacts for you! Definitely try it!"
