Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "My urologist suggested that I try 5 mg Cialis daily for BPH (enlarged prostate). He gave me a two-week supply to see if I would incur any side effects. He did make it very clear that treatment for BPH requires about a month's regular use of the 5 mg daily dose. From the first day onward, I experienced significant heartburn, which was easily remedied by taking a dose of Zantac with the Cialis and a Zantac 12 hours later. On the 5th day of Cialis, I experienced excruciating muscle pain starting with my lower back, into the buttocks, and legs. Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I'm in my late 60s and had been struggling with frequent urination at night, an urgent need here and there during the day, ED, and low libido. My urologist recommended Cialis, but when he mentioned the price and the fact that it would not be covered by insurance, I almost decided against it. He was quite sure it would help, however. Tadalafil "Was not having any real problems, but at 50 wanted a little more kick, so I asked my doctor to try Viagra. It worked, but the flushing, stuffy nose, and heartburn were unbearable. Tadalafil for Erectile Dysfunction "42-year-old taking antidepressant that severely affects my ability to get an erection. I've been taking the 5 mg once a day Cialis for a couple of years now. Performance is good, but sometimes I would lose my erection after changing positions many times, not sure why. Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I've tried Viagra and found it worked pretty well. I had some side effects, namely heartburn and headaches, so thought I'd try Cialis to see if I suffered from the same effects. I started off by taking 10 mg of Cialis, and after an hour, I had a slight stirring in the loins, but that was about it. So, I took the remainder of the dosage (10 mg), and it helped slightly, but was still less than I would normally get without any medication. Very disappointed, and to top it all, I've had heartburn most of the following day. I bought a pack of 8, costing a reasonable amount, to add to the situation. Guess it works for some and not others."

Tadalafil for Erectile Dysfunction "I'm a healthy 44-year-old with no major physiological conditions, but I have been under tremendous stress for more than a year. This made getting and maintaining an erection difficult because I was worried about whether I could perform, even though my wife and I have always had a great sex life for nearly 20 years. My doctor wrote a script for the 5 mg daily dose at my request, and all I can say is 'wow'! My only qualifier is I seem to be having more frequent heartburn, but that could simply be a flare-up of an existing condition due to my holiday season diet of fattier foods. Enzyme supplements, acidophilus supplements, and yogurt are my standard regimen to treat this, and I may cut my dose to alternating days to see if there's any change."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Doc prescribed 20 mg - it was like taking speed. Even 10 mg was too much. It worked for the ED, but the side effects are horrible. It causes me to be angry and moody, and it stays in my system for days. It caused heartburn that was difficult to suppress. It is literally a nightmare drug. Caused insomnia and bad dreams. I would definitely tell my friends not to take it."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I'm 60 and noticed BPH symptoms. A consultant confirmed this and tried me on Tamulosin (cheap!!). My body couldn't get on with Tamulosin (dizzy, reduced semen volume, retro-ejaculation). Tried Tadalafil (5mg daily). After three days, had indigestion/heartburn and lower back/upper leg ache. Stopped taking on the 4th day and by the 5th day, I was okay again. Decided to take Tadalafil for two days, then stop for the third day, etc. Did this for a week. This worked well - little heartburn, no back pain. I risked taking the drug daily again and was okay! Now been taking for three weeks - very little indigestion, no back pain. I don't have urgency to pee and often don't need to get up at night. Not sure how long it takes for the drug to have optimum effect but okay after three weeks! Still have reduced semen volume (from the Tamulosin) and numerous nocturnal erections! Just like being a lad again! I pay 8.80 GBP (standard National Health charge) per month for a month's supply."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Taking a daily 5 mg dose for both BPH and ED symptoms. No side effects in general apart from very occasional heartburn. Erections are strong and I feel like a teenager again. I’m circumcised high and tight too and noticed the glans is more flared and sensitive. Post-ejaculation, my erections linger for a while, which is nice too. On the BPH side, my LUTS symptoms are fine - no nocturnal disturbance, and daytime flow/frequency is very manageable. (I’ve early stage prostate cancer, which is being managed via active surveillance.) Highly recommend giving this drug a go if you have ED and/or BPH issues."
