I do have to pop a couple of Ibuprofen, as Cialis does give me a headache. The only other negative is to make sure your spouse or girlfriend is in the mood before taking the pill. Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I wrote earlier that adding the 0.5 mg Cialis combined with the 40 mg Flomax gave me great results. But, the side effects (which a number of people have reported here) were a big problem. Bad backaches and headaches after about 3 days of use. But great results with urinary problems of BPH. So I had to quit the Cialis for a few days to get it out of my system. Then started one half of a pill, every other day, thinking that I will increase as needed. Well, never needed to increase. In other words, a quarter dose. And great results! Only get up once a night to pee! First time for that in decades. Also, although I didn’t have a lot of problems with erections for my age, 75, yes, it did improve that too. With just a quarter dose. And no side effects. I have been on this regimen now for about 3 months. All good! PS. Initially, my insurance wouldn’t cover Tadalafil, but my doctor called and explained that it was for BPH, and now they cover it."

Cialis works great. Since I am not worried about my erections, I can enjoy myself more. Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "2nd day on 5mg started to work with rock-hard erections, however, experienced headache, lower bowel pressure. 3rd day, erections would wake me up and hurt! Leg/ankle aches, severe lower bowel pressure, like you need to go #2 but can't! Enjoyed the initial rock-hard erections but not at these side effects or $230 for month's supply! Tadalafil for Erectile Dysfunction "Started on the 10 mg as needed about 3 years ago, and the results are impressive. At 63, it was getting more and more difficult to become and stay erect and wasn't lasting. The 20 mg had me walking around with a full erection without any stimulation, like being a teenager, but had headaches and stomach upset. Less side effects with 10 mg and almost none when using them cut in half. The 5 mg are still plenty effective for at least a day and a half. Cutting the 10 mg in half gets the price down, but still pretty expensive. However, I wouldn't want to be without it now."

Tadalafil for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Take Flomax for BPH. So-so results with Flomax. Added 0.5 Tadalafil with good results in 1 day. By the 3rd day, had to stop due to bad back pain and headache. Have stopped now for a day, 35 hours since last dose, and pain is gone. I will now try one dose every other day. Will come back to site with results. Great to have all this info. Thanks."

Then I found a review on here that said that his pills from Burel Pharma were junk even at twice the dose. Well, sir who wrote that, you were exactly right. THANK YOU!! My (well-known) pharmacy changed their supplier. When I got them to order from a different pharma (Teva), the drug was again effective, and the side effects were lessened. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my money back and have 3 unopened bottles of useless pills."

About 5 years ago, I started to experience problems maintaining an erection during intercourse. At that time, I started taking Cialis (10 mg), and it worked for me right away. However, about two years ago, I found that 10 mg was not enough for me to maintain an erection long enough to complete intercourse. That is when I began to increase the dosage in 5 mg steps until I reached the point where I could feel its effects for a full 36 hours. I am now at 25 mg, and it is working fine. Its effect usually lasts 40 hours or so. Erection is hard, like it was 50 years ago. Sometimes a mild headache, but not bad enough to stop me from using Cialis."
