Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I want it to be affordable because people like me who have Narcolepsy are physically struggling to go to work. How can 30 pills worth of $700 bill work for a person like me? I can’t even work to stay awake. Change the price and you will get the supply and demand you want; considering that every insurance company looks at the dollar bills and not as human. Fix this now."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "Hi, I had to do a sleep study due to sleeping all day and not able to wake up no matter how my kids tried to. I also have to deal with insomnia since I was a teen and as an adult it just got worse. The sleep study showed that I have Narcolepsy symptoms during the day, which now I have to deal with too. So, when my doctor gave me samples of Sunosi for this sleeping disorder, it changed my life. My days before Sunosi was having episodes of falling asleep during day without being able to wake up and my kids tried to wake me but I couldn't wake up. I have trouble falling and staying asleep at night. During the day my episodes goes like this...I get up in the morning and try to stay up, but after a couple of hours later I fall asleep and can't wake up until 4-5 hours later and then an hour later I fall back to sleep until the next day and each day is different. But, Sunosi changed that to having me awake all day without episodes and falling/ staying asleep at night. Thank you Sunosi."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I have used my CPAP religiously. But even after starting CPAP, I was still exhausted. After work was a nap until I had to go pick up my husband. My lunch time was a nap. Getting out of bed in the morning was considered cruel and unusual punishment. I had decided to just live with it. But then one of my doctors suggested Sunosi. I was a little skeptical, but desperate to stay awake longer. The 75 mg didn’t have much of an effect on me, but boy, the 150 mg has been life changing! I’m thinking more clearly, daytime napping is gone, and I’m able to get to sleep at a decent hour because I haven’t napped. It wonderful to feel like a normal human instead of constantly being exhausted."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I have narcolepsy with cataplexy I have been on Provigil and Ritalin for several years always sleep however could function and motivated. Started taking Provigil and Sunosi in November 2019. At first thought I had found the drug after about three months the drops came no motivation. The best way to describe me is my eyes are open the rest of me is asleep. No focus all over the place"

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "Been on Sunosi 150mg. daily for approx. a year and a half. Initially, seemed to work pretty well. No more daytime sleepiness and fatigue. As time has passed the positive effects I used to experience have evaporated. I take a dose early in the morning and I'm falling asleep by 10:00am. I had the same results with 200mg. daily dose of Modafinil which I took before the Sunosi. Frustrating."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I had tried Provigil and NuvigilI previously neither of which helped at all with my daytime sleepiness and daily naps. When I first taking 75 mg of SUNOSI I was like a new person I kept awake, motivated, busy and focused all day, I still felt tired but it didn’t keep me from doing what I needed to do, and my daily naps stopped completely! I had no negative side effects. For months I got so much done every day it was great! Then after about 6 months I started feeling sleepy all day with no energy or motivation at all again so I started the 150 hoping it would perk me up again so far it’s been a week and I’m still not feeling the benefits at all like I did when I first started. The effectiveness seems to have completely worn off."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "After trying Nuvigil for a month with little effect my doctor put me on Sunosi, starting with two weeks of samples. Second week was the 150 mg dosage which really helped. Still felt more tired than I wanted and struggled with no motivation but no “hallucinations” until about 5-6pm. This was success for me. I did not like the profuse sweating but still felt the no hallucinations were worth it. Severe disappointment to find my copay, that’s right, my copay was $760. I am beside myself. There is no way I can afford even a weeks worth. No meds for over a week now and I’m struggling with hallucinations by day and no sleep a nights. Not a as good recipe for a successful life. Why sooooo expensive? No self pay person can afford this."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "If insurance pays for this medication give it a try. If not, don’t waste your money. I've been on every stimulant there is. I was excited about this, unfortunately its done little to nothing. There is no way this can be abused. It is only controlled because it supposedly treats narcolepsy. The only effective meds for narcolepsy are stimulants so they put this in the same category."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) "I started taking Sunosi after being on Focalin for years. I don't know what to expect but I am not feeling awake or alert at all. Not sure if it needs to build up to reach effectiveness or if I should be feeling the effects by now (1 week). So far no side effects, but still needing naps. Crashing after work big time."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I started using Sunosi about 6 months ago. I started out on 75 mg and upped the dosage to 150 mg. I know you are suppose to take it in the morning, but it does not get me through an entire day. So I started taking it around noon or 1pm and that has worked well for me. If I know I am going out for the evening, I will take another one around 5-6 pm to get me through the night until about 11pm. What I like is, not having any side effects. Unfortunately, my insurance won't pay for Sunosi so I am being forced to switch to Nuvigil which is a narcotic, so I am not happy about that. My doctor was giving me free samples (thank goodness). I would recommend Sunosi to anyone, in fact I am going to see if I qualify for their $9.00 coupon for a year because I don't want to take a narcotic."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I have been on max dose for 2+ years. It has never provided me any benefit whatsoever. I have stayed on it because I am so desperately exhausted. I do have other health issues that cause severe exhaustion: hypotension, ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Primary Sjögren's syndrome, POTS, now early stage lupus, and absolutely no help or hope from any of my doctors. My rating is 1 out of 10."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I have severe Narcolepsy, Cataplexy, Fibromyalgia, and Migraine (they all feed off Narcolepsy). I have had these disorders since I was a teenager although I was only recently diagnosed properly. I have tried multiple stimulants, antidepressants, and pain medications with little to no relief of symptoms. I tried Sunosi at 75mg for a few months before increasing to 150mg. I have been on the larger dose for about a year before my heart rate and blood pressure raised. I ended up having multiple seizures due to a sudden severe spike in blood pressure for no reason at all. I no longer take this medication and will be trying Zyrem. The theory is that the medication stored to much adrenaline in my brain overdosing my body causing near death seizures. Please monitor your blood pressure regularly even if you feel fine. It will hit out of nowhere. Otherwise, the medication helped quite a bit with agitation, increased heart rate, and insomnia being the noticeable side effects."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I suffer from narcolepsy. When I used Sunosi for the first time, I can say it was effective from the first hour ! That was like magic! But when I had to wake up so early at 5a.m. it wasn't enough for the rest of the day, I was getting very tired in the middle of the day. I contacted my doctor and he told me to double the dose from 75mg to 150mg if it wasn't enough for the rest of the day. But on the contrary, it got worse and after 2 weeks of 150mg of Sunosi I felt as if the effect had become reversed! So he told me to return to 75mg. Now I feel like a normal person, there are some days when I wake up late so I don't take Sunosi to avoid staying up at night, but at the other times when I use it I can do my daily activities normally without having to sleep all day. For me, I didn't see any noticeable side effects from it such as high blood pressure, that I monitored before and after using the drug for 10 days and nothing happened so far. I have been using it for about 6 months."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "Have tried Provigil, Nuvigil, and now Sunosi, all max doses, over the recommended doses, with Dr. instruction. They work for about a month but then the cons greatly outweigh the benefits for me. Either they only last 4 hours then I crash and burn, or I'm still struggling to stay awake, or I feel sick, or have brain fog and am unmotivated and totally useless. This has been very difficult for someone who has to work two jobs to make ends meet. I did not want to have to use the stronger stimulants because addiction runs in my family. And the crashes are harder, so I hear. But I don't think I have a choice. I don't want to live like this. Hopefully this works better for others but based on these reviews here, seems like majority say not really."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "This medicine is changing my life for the better. I use to wake up in the morning and within 30 minutes I was back asleep. I couldn’t hold my eyes open and would sleep all day. Until I started taking this medicine. I’m like a new person. I am on 150 mg"

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I was put on Sunosi 75mg after my insurance refused to cover my Adderall XL to help me with my Narcolepsy. Long story short , I feel tired as if I’m not taking anything. I take Sunosi at about 6:30 am and by 10:00 am I’m feeling like I need a nap. This medication cash price was $868.25 for 30 tabs .. copay was $9.00. Seriously… !! This medication has not helped but I have not had any side effects."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I have chronic fatigue. We are not all the same. I get about 3 hours of awakeness and then sleep until about 8 p.m. Then by 11: 00 I sleep for an hour and a half unless I take diazepam. At maximum dosage I get 5-6 hours sleep. What works for some will not work for others. We know the source of the problem - hypothalamic dysfunction. I go this week because the left vestibular artery is missing which feeds oxygen and blood to the brain. For most doctors this is all a big guess. Sunosi was my 4th medication to basically fail. But for others it may work well."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I was diagnosed with narcolepsy back at the beginning of 2021, I've been on modafinil, phentermine, and now on Sunosi 150mg and just started Adderall 10mg twice a day. It's only been 4 days but so far no real changes. I feel awesome at 5:30am, take my medications and all is good till about 9:30am, then all heck breaks out. My eyes start with the cement feeling, my eyesight starts with the kaleidoscope episodes, I fall asleep for about 30-40 seconds, my whole body jerks real hard and feels like I've been electrocuted and I'm awake and back to normal. This affects my life so much and it's so frustrating because others don't understand what is happening. I video'd myself at work so I could show my doctor exactly what was happening. I hope this combination of meds finally works."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I have narcolepsy and was on armodafinil for 3 months and it worked great at first but then all of a sudden it stopped working. My doctor gave me samples of Sunosi to try and I didn’t think it was working well at first…but then I went back to the armodafinil and it was like a 180 negative change. I had forgotten how bad it was without (working) medication! So I tried Sunosi at 150mg for 2 weeks and everything was better. No side effects. Some of the reviews here worried me, but I haven’t experienced anything negative yet. I am praying this continues to work because I am absolutely miserable without medication."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "Been dealing with symptoms of a sleep disorder for 15+ years and have now been diagnosed with narcolepsy with cataplexy along with idiopathic insomnia. After trying armodafinil and having adverse reactions I was then subjected to try Sunosi. I had half a tablet daily for a week then went to a full tablet after that. This medication helped me almost instantly. I had energy I was able to think clearly and able to process multiple things happening in my environment. It did tho cause insomnia I am getting roughly 4-5 hrs of sleep in a 24 hr span. Today marks day 22 of Sunosi and then effects of the medication is reducing. I’ve been consistent with taking the medication and have no alcohol or drug use. My emotions are haywire and I’m spouting anger outbursts. I’m overwhelmed by almost nothing. I’m trying to not get defeated or angry. I just thought I had been given an answer to a prayer and now it’s not working. I’m hoping that my dr will be able to provide help"

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I’ve been taking Sunosi for a month. I started at 37.5mg and worked up to 150mg. Sunosi has been keeping me awake during the day, but both my heart rate and BP are elevated. Insomnia is also becoming a problem. My doc lowered my dose to 75mg, but I still have elevated heart rate and BP. I’ll probably have to stop the medication. Disappointing! I had the same problem with Nuvigil and Provigil."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "Initially I took the 75 mg dose. Had decent results for about a week and then became less effective, although it still was better than nothing. Increased to the 150 mg dose and experienced similar results, but began to have diarrhea with such regularity that I would rather be sleepy. I was going to drop back to 75 mg to get some of the benefit and see if the poop problem got better, but the coupon would no longer work and my cost was going to be $150 a month, which I refuse to accept."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) for Narcolepsy "I have struggled with sleeping for more than 20 years, I'm 55. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about three years ago, but CPAP did nothing to make me feel better. After an additional sleep study, I was diagnosed with narcolepsy as well. Typically would fall asleep around 11 pm wake up at 3:30 am or 4:00 am, would feel fine until around 10 am, then be exhausted all day until bed. Very difficult to focus and complete tasks. Started on Sunosi about 10 days ago and have noticed a huge difference. I feel much more alert, not in constant brain fog, much more focused, and motivated to complete tasks. I forgot to take it one day and definitely noticed the difference. So far (short period of time, but hopeful) it has been great for me. I feel it about 45 minutes after I take it and it seems to last me all day. Luckily, I have not had any side effects so far."

Sunosi (solriamfetol) "Initially, it worked ok. The brain fog was gone, I had energy and was not tired all day. Now it is not consistent at all. Sometimes I take it and it does nothing. One thing I have found is it affects my mood pretty badly. I will get really agitated, and angry, and then end up depressed. Don't think it's worth taking if it doesn't always work and affects my mood to this extent. Wonder if I'm the only one having depressive episodes with it."
