"I have been on Wegovy 0.25mg for 4 weeks and started on 0.5mg today. I have lost 8 lbs so far and have had no side effects at all. I have noticed that I am not as hungry and do feel fuller with less food intake. I will continue with this and hopefully get to the weight I want to be."

"I tried everything, almost getting gastric sleeve surgery. Thanks to my cardiologist, even my heart is fine, he doesn't want to give me clearance for the operation. He recommended Wegovy. I think this is the best decision I ever made. I started on November 2nd, 2023, and until now, December 20th, I have lost an incredible 30 pounds. I now eat only two times a day. I used to eat lots of sweet stuff, but not anymore. No more late eating. I eat very small portions and I feel full all day. I love you, Wegovy, it's real. I am on a 1mg dosage. I was 331 pounds and now I am 301 pounds, with a goal to lose 40 more pounds by July. Good luck everyone, there's a chance because of Wegovy."

"Starting the 2.4 mg this Friday. I have lost 31 pounds in 4 months. I never thought I would make it to this point, but I seemed to tolerate all the doses up to this point. I am 29 pounds away from my goal of 150, but I will be okay with 160. It was hard to believe this medication is working for me with minimal side effects. I do occasionally get an upset stomach and diarrhea, but a little Pepto-Bismol takes the upset stomach away. I do feel full after eating half a meal and remain full for long periods of time. I am excited that my clothes feel really loose now and I can fit things that I couldn't before or was too tight. This medication has changed my outlook on healthier eating and keeping the weight off."

"Weight loss was very easy. In 4 months I have lost 35 lbs. I had to use stool softeners, one a day when I started having problems with constipation, and that took care of the problem. I have to pay $820.00 a month self-pay, and that was after the pharmacy having a $500.00 coupon to help lower the cost from $1300.00. My Medicare insurance will not cover it, nor will my Blue Cross Blue Shield supplement pay any on it because I am using it for a weight loss drug. I am on 170 mg at this time, and I am going to do one more month at 240 mg. I can’t afford to pay for it now, and I am just struggling to pay for it one more month. The doctor told me if I lost 50 pounds, it would really help me. I find it easy to use. I don’t have any problems slacking off on the food I eat."

"I have lost 19 pounds in the first 4 weeks on 0.25 dosage. I have found that low-fat cottage cheese with some fruit is good around noon as a brunch, with a high-protein dinner and a small salad. I was 2 weeks in over Thanksgiving and was still able to enjoy most everything, but just in much smaller portions. Eating out, I order fish or chicken and ask for a box with the dinner and split it for leftovers. Absolutely no side effects - except for the first day each week after the shot, I find I burp after eating. Also, note: the effects start off very strong during the first part of the week and taper towards the end. I do find myself able to eat more on the last day before my next shot, but even still no major hunger pains. Eat high protein and low-fat, and drink lots of water. I weigh myself every morning and find I lose more on days I drink at least 50 or more ounces of water the previous day. My goal is to lose 40 pounds, and at this rate, I think it will only take me about 70 days. Best journey ever!"

"I was started on Wegovy because my metabolism came to a crashing halt. No matter how healthy I ate, I kept gaining and retaining water weight. I was 478 pounds when I started in April 2023 and have lost 85 pounds in 7 months. My goal is another 100 pounds, but I've noticed that the weight loss slows down on certain weeks and increases other weeks. I've been on 2.4 mg for about 5 months and haven't experienced many of the side effects that have been known to occur. The worst was the upset stomach and the body cleansing itself the first couple of weeks. I am now wearing clothes that I have not been able to fit into for almost 4 years. Wegovy may not be for everyone, but it has been a game changer for me!"

"It sure works. Even at the lower initial doses it completely CURBS your appetite and you are no longer hungry. It’s an interesting phenomenon. I’m going to have to plan means better and so forth, so far side efffects have been mild stomach upset and fatigue, but nothing substantially more…"

"I have lost 65 pounds so far on Wegovy. Keep in mind, I combined taking this medication with a change in my diet. I do not eat refined sugar, flour or starchy vegetables. Because of Wegovy, for the first time in my life, I experience fullness in my stomach and want to stop eating. I never understood how people could stop eating after one helping or how a plate of cookies could go uneaten by normal people. I do now. Wegovy sends the signal to my brain telling me I've had enough to eat! Wow! I'm so happy now that I don't feel like a slave to food anymore. The feeling of fullness didn't occur until I went from the 0.25mg to the 0.5mg dosage. I experienced diarrhea at first (not too bad though). And now I find stools a little more hard to pass. I also sweat a lot when I'm exerting energy if my dosage is too high. So figure out the right dosage so you don't feel hypoglycemic. The 0.5mg dose for me seems to work the best without these side effects. But everyone is different."

"I started Wegovy on 1/23/23 and I have lost 54 pounds. I have had pretty good results without a lot of side effects. I'm currently on the maintenance dose and my only side effect that really bothers me is the pain I get in my upper right side in my back. It comes and goes, but when it's there it's uncomfortable. I push my way through those days because this medication has made me feel so much better. I walk every day."

"I started Wegovy in February 2023, 5'11, weighing 252 lbs. I am now down to 211 lbs and just started the 2.4 dosage. I have truly been blessed, no real side effects. I heard that you may experience hair loss, however, I started taking Biotin before I started on the meds. I take the injection on Friday night, just in case some side effects appear. I will have the weekend to recover. I don't do any real exercise, however, I am a healthcare worker, so I walk a lot, averaging 3/4 miles daily. I am glad I found out about this medication. My first goal was 220 lbs, however, my new goal is 205 lbs, and then I will just maintain it from there. I didn't have any real health issues before, except taking 1 blood pressure medication daily. I go to the doctor in a couple of months and will probably be taken off it, thanks to Wegovy. Don't let some reviews have you not trying this medication, it is different for everyone. Also, I haven't had any issues obtaining or having to wait for my next dose. My insurance pays for it."

"I love it! Wegovy did what I needed it to do, it calmed my appetite. I had zero side effects. I lost twenty pounds in one month. I only have one problem, I can no longer get Wegovy in my needed dosage of 0.25 mg. I will patiently wait for the manufacture of Wegovy to catch up to the demand for their product because it works that well for me. Thank you for creating a product that has worked as advertised."

"I started Wegovy in Jan 2023 after starting other weight loss rxs in Jan 2020. I lost a good amount of weight in 2020 but felt like I wasn't losing any more and kinda just stayed the same. I was feeling so much better about myself, but also a little disappointed because I wanted to lose more. Now, Sept 2023, I feel so good. I've experienced some of the side effects like nausea and vomiting, but that was because I would push myself to eat and drink more than my body could handle. Once I learned to listen to my body, those side effects stopped. I do not eat very healthy. I try, but I was never a fan of vegetables. My friends are most impressed knowing what a picky, childlike eater I am! I think if I ate healthier, I'd probably have lost more, but I honestly cannot complain. I haven't been this happy in a very long time! I recommend Wegovy to anyone that will listen!"

"Wegovy is working great! Very important to hydrate and have a lot of fiber. Also, control your portion size; you cannot eat large portions. I'm following a strict 1300 calorie lifestyle change. From June 17, 2023, to present (Sept 19, 2023), I've lost 30 lbs. The injections are simple and virtually painless. I'm currently on 1.7 and I have little to no side effects. I inject every Saturday night before I go to sleep. I read that taking medication before bed reduces nausea and for me, it has worked. The only side effect is that I have absolutely NO desire to drink alcohol. The best side effect ever! I've already stopped taking blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication has been reduced to the lowest dose, and my A1C is out of the pre-diabetic range and within normal limits, and I'm only halfway to my weight loss goal. All medication has been stopped or reduced by my physician after blood work. Very happy!"

"I was on Wegovy for 6 months (I only stopped because of insurance coverage). I lost 60 lbs in that time frame. Side effects were minimal and included nausea, anhedonia, and fatigue. Typically, side effects were worse after I titrated to the next dose schedule and would fade within a few weeks. This medication finally cured my 'food noise' and has been incredible. Lots to come with GLPs and the treatment of overeating and obesity. I am not on Tirzepeptide, and it may even be a bit better than Wegovy."

"I started taking Wegovy 2 weeks ago and just took my 3rd injection yesterday (start of week 3). I began on the max 2.4mg dosage after trying to obtain lower doses for nearly a year to no avail. I dropped from 260 lbs to 237 lbs in 2 weeks. The first 3 days at this dosage were absolute hell, which I expected. I vomited 4 or 5 different times over the first few days and felt drained and fatigued. I could not stomach any food whatsoever during the first 3 days and just sipped on a bit of water from time to time. However, after the 3rd day, I was 100% and back to normal in all ways, except my appetite. I hardly ever feel hungry and when I eat, I can typically only eat a small portion before feeling full. For example, 2 weeks in, I can only eat like a 3rd of a cheeseburger or a half of a salad. Another good byproduct is that I hardly drink anything alcoholic anymore (beer and wine). "I started Wegovy in 6/2023 and it was life-changing for me. I am in my mid-40s and losing weight is so difficult. This medication is easy to use and really curbs your appetite. I have lost 22 pounds in 3 months which is very good. I also do not crave 'junk food' anymore. I highly recommend this medication if you are on a weight loss journey."

"I am currently on day 6, so for the first week I'd say I have had some mild nausea, but it was manageable. I did, however, have a headache pretty much all week. As of right now, I don't have a headache. Some of the headache might have been due to the lack of caffeine. I have not cut it out completely yet, but I have cut way back on my portions and when I feel full, I stop no matter how much is left on my plate. As of right now, I am unofficially at a 5 lb loss. I won't actually record the number until my official weigh-in. I am looking forward to seeing where this takes me."

"I have been on Wegovy since March. I get hungry, nothing like I was though. I had gastric bypass and after some years, regained my weight. Took Phentermine many years, that does work, but I also have high blood pressure. So I heard about this Wegovy and new people who went on it, and lost so much weight without trying. I was struggling with clothes not fitting again, looking and feeling awful about myself. I asked my doctor to put me on this, and it’s been life-changing. I’ve lost 36 lbs. I’m so happy my tight clothes are big now. It gave me the confidence I needed. Plus, it is helping me learn to eat cleaner which has been something I’ve been trying to do my whole life. "I have only been on the shot for a week now at the beginning dose, and I definitely see a difference. I have lost almost 10 lbs in the week, haven't really experienced any side effects. I can tell that my appetite has decreased tremendously and I get full quickly and remain full for a while, which forces me to not overdo it when it comes to eating. I am anxious to see what the next few months bring as the doses increase as well. Overall, I am happy to be taking Wegovy and this definitely beats going to the extreme and getting the surgery for weight loss. I chickened out of the surgery at the very last minute due to my fear of complications. Luckily, I was told about Wegovy and insurance covered it as well!"

"I gained 70 pounds during the pandemic. December 2019 I was 138 pounds standing at 5'3. Then In Jan 2021 I was 209. I started having back pain and foot pain from the weight. I tried dieting but I am a single mom that doesn't have time to cook healthy every night and I work around food so I told my Dr. he has to prescribe me something to lose weight. He seen it was taking a toll on my health as well so he started me on .25 wegovy injections. I lost 13 pounds my first month. I had nausea once or twice nothing I couldn't handle and I vomited only once. I even had more energy. Then he prescribed me the .5 the next month but pharmacies all in a 30 mile radius were on back order for the entire summer with no hopes of getting it in till end of September. I kept being persistent with pharmacist and she said have your Dr call me he can up your milligram and we can get that dose in 2 days so at this point I was desperate and starting to gain back the 13 pounds I lost. So I was upped to 1.7. OMG"

"I'm a 59 6'1" year old female weighing 258 pounds when I started taking Wegovy one week ago. I had no major side effects. Just a slight problem with constipation but Miralax helped. I did feel a little more tired in the evenings. My appetite has definitely decreased. I took my second shot this morning. As of the first week, I've lost 6.1 pounds. My goal is to lose at least 30 pounds. It was difficult to get approval from my health insurance, but after several appeals, I finally received approval for 6 months. My out-of-pocket cost is $25."

"I have just started my 1mg dose. I am on week 8 as I did mess up a shot on my 0.5 weeks. So far, I have had ZERO negative symptoms aside from constipation. I have noticed that in my first week on a new dose, I would lose a lot of weight and then kind of just stay for the remaining doses. I have not changed my diet on purpose but have stopped overeating dramatically. I started at 247 lbs and am down to 230 lbs."

"I am on week 2, getting ready for the 3rd shot tomorrow. I must be an odd duck because the shot gives me energy and controls my appetite. It also cleared my head; I have no brain fog suddenly. I have had no nausea or constipation yet. Last night, we made hamburgers and I think I overate because I woke up about half an hour after I went to bed, totally nauseous and threw up dinner. I went right back to bed and back to sleep and felt great in the morning. After reading other people's reviews, I think they are right - you need to portion control your food and be totally cognizant to recognize when you're full and not overeat just because it tastes good. That is what has gotten me to this place I am in right now, being overweight. I have lost 5 lbs so far and need to lose around 115 more. Here's hoping Wegovy can take me to the finish line in weight loss."
