Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy last month. Did all 4 doses of the 0.25 and took my first 0.50 yesterday. The first 0.25 injection I was vomiting and had a headache, but it only lasted one day. No other issues. As far as weight, I am 5'5'' and at my doctor's appointment I weighed my highest ever at 195 lbs! After the 4 doses of the 0.25, I am already down to 180 lbs! I am not exercising. Wegovy cut my appetite so much that I literally had to force myself to eat; I'm not complaining though! So now that I have started on the 0.50, I'm interested in seeing if I continue to drop. 15 lbs is a huge loss in one month on the 0.25 and I know it isn't typical, but it really has been a great experience for me. I will update next month after I take my last dose of the 0.50. I would definitely recommend Wegovy."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm just finishing week 4 (0.25 semaglutide) with a total of 7.2 lbs weight loss. I probably would have lost more weight if I hadn't eaten fried chicken, fried fish, fried pork chops, & drinking beers. I haven't experienced any of the side effects that are noted on the prescription. I'm the person who does not have willpower. This semaglutide is a miracle for me. I haven't exercised at all, this is how I know that semaglutide actually works for weight loss. I will start the 0.50 semaglutide on 04/08/2024. I'm going to do better with this dosage. I will be updating on the progress in 4 weeks."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Started taking Ozempic to control type 2 diabetes: lost 50 pounds in 3 months. After heart surgery, I lost another 15 lbs. I now weigh 150 lbs. 75 years old. I now take 0.5 mg per week. Very small appetite, very slow motility, oscillate between constipation and diarrhea. It's a great drug, I had to buy a new wardrobe. I look and, for the most part, I feel great."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took my first 0.25 shot of Wegovy 4 days ago. Everything is going great so far. I experience a very small amount of nausea in the morning but it is completely manageable. I have noticed that I am more content throughout the day and my portion sizes have gone down. I have also had a lot more energy and don’t feel so tired all the time. I know that it is very early to really give a review for this medication so this is more directed to those individuals who are nervous or scared to start the medication. I was terrified after reading some of the “bad” reviews but I finally did it. I know we will all have different experiences but it was definitely worth trying in my opinion!"

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Within a year, I lost 80 pounds and my A1C is consistently 5.5. I experienced fatigue, hair loss, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and constipation. I am cold all the time. As far as I'm concerned, side effects have been minor compared to how well it's worked for me."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I've been taking Rybelsus for a few years now. I started off with the 7 mg (after the initial 3mg dose the first month) and used in tandem with metformin. My doctor has recently moved me up to the 14 mg tablets and stopped the metformin altogether. I have done well with Rybelsus (my A1C has been under 6 for the most part) and have tolerated it well. It took me that first month on the 3 mg for my body to get used to this med and I almost stopped due to the nausea and stomach up I had, but I powered through and by the time I started my second month using the 7 mg, the stomach issues had disappeared. My only complaint has been the constipation I've suffered from after taking this drug for so long. I simply take stool softeners every night to deal with the problem. All in all, I am happy with Rybelsus and it has worked wonders for me in keeping my blood sugar/A1C low."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I was scared to try Ozempic for my uncontrollable diabetes. I decided it was time to try it along with my usual metformin, and boy am I glad I did. I started Ozempic 10 months ago at 0.25 and moved to 0.50, and have stayed there because it’s exactly the dose I need for my blood sugar. My blood sugar runs between 89-150. My A1c dropped from 12.8 to 6.5 within 4 months of starting Ozempic. The only side effect I ever got is a little constipation. I adjusted my diet as well, and I walk 2 miles a day, 5 days a week. I’ve dropped 18 pounds. Ozempic is great for uncontrollable diabetes."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "In the beginning of being on the 0.25 dose, I tried to still eat the way I normally would. I had horrible nausea, GI issues, and feeling the food sit in the stomach. Went to 0.5, and I learned very quickly you can no longer eat the crap anymore that put you in this position in the first place. My appetite has decreased immensely, I eat much smaller meals and bites. Once I did what Ozempic wants you to do, it’s been a game changer. I also chew my food longer. After talking to many people that are on it, my conclusion is, if you don’t change the way you eat, you will suffer the worst of the side effects. Wish I started this a long time ago."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I’ve been on Rybelsus for T2 (diagnosed Dec 23) since January 2024. I’m now on week one of 14mg. I’ve barely experienced any side effects. Tired the first few days after upping the dose, but other than that, very minimal. I did eat a sub sandwich, and the carbs gave me a stomach ache. I also have IBS, and since starting, my symptoms have reduced there. I’m also on Metformin 500mg and have lost 6lbs without dieting and minimal exercise (I’m in grad school and am insanely busy). Absolutely recommend trying Rybelsus to see if it works for you. I go back in May to check my a1c; doctor is confident it will be down!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a veteran and had to be put on by endocrine dr. in the weight loss clinic. My starting weight was 230 @ 5’1. I wasn’t a candidate for weight loss surgery due to clotting issues. I started on Saxenda and rapidly lost like 20 lbs., but gained it all back. That whole process was like 3-4 months. My endo expected and expects it with the Wegovy. Wegovy: starting weight 230 have been on for idk maybe 8 months. I’m 165. My goal is 140. I had a follow-up with endo today. He said I’ve lost more than any other of his patients on Wegovy and he’s had patients on it for 2+ years. I also haven’t done any exercise except walking my dog every day for 15-60 mins. Side effects? I already had gastroparesis. So I’m used to horrible nausea, but I have it still. Maybe be worse from it. Nothing else."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "It has been very helpful in my weight loss journey which began due to a diagnosis of diabetes. My A1C has also decreased, which is wonderful. My appetite is very small leading to not being able to eat much. I started on 0.25 mg/week, then increased to 0.5 mg/week. I am now taking 1 mg/week. I did attempt to switch to Wegovy for increased dose, but insurance would not cover. I feel it is very easy to use."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Easy to use right from the beginning. I'm a type 2 diabetic and it has helped to stabilize my blood sugars. I did the 0.25 --> 0.50 regimen and it was easy to follow. I have had zero side effects ever taking the drug and it has reduced my cravings by a lot. I was surprised after about 4 weeks in that I just didn't want to eat as much as I had in the past. It was a strange feeling that at a meal I just didn't 'want' any more without feeling bloated. Portion sizes that I used to eat easily just were too much to eat."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "So far very positive except for today. I experienced diarrhea and vomiting all at once. About 15 minutes after this began, I felt completely better. I just hope it was a one-time occurrence. I’ve been on Ozempic for many months, and this was my first episode. On the other hand, my A1c is below 7, my daily glucose tests are way down, and I have lost over 20 pounds, perhaps more. My dose is 1mg per week with an easy-to-administer shot. But the bottom line is you must work with the drug. You won’t be hungry, but that never stopped people like us from eating anyway. Listen to your body. If you are not hungry, don’t eat!"

Ozempic (semaglutide) "I have been on Ozempic for a year for weight loss. I started at 433, yikes, not proud of that weight. I'm down to 360 and feel so much better. My blood sugar is normal, and I'm feeling great. My dose is 1 mg. Going to try and see what 2 mg does. My side effects were mild at best."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I also have type 2 diabetes and take Jardiance. I was very unsure if I wanted to take this drug or not because of all the possible side effects. I have been on it now for over a month and have been very lucky that the side effects have been minimal. For the first couple of weeks, I had a little fatigue, mild headache, and a little constipation, but taking magnesium nightly has helped with that. As long as I eat healthy and small portions, all is great. My brain is no longer obsessed with eating, and worrying about what my next unhealthy snack is going to be. All my sugar cravings are gone, and blood sugars are at a 5. In the last 5 weeks, I have lost 13 lbs. I started at 0.25mg and am now at 0.5mg. I do the injection in my stomach, as it is totally painless there. It is not covered by my insurance and is on the pricey side, $266.00 Canadian, every six weeks, but it works for me, so I will continue taking it."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I was on it for 3 months and it was working well. Problem is, they need to take it off the weight loss list because Medicaid won't cover it and my prescription has been denied twice because of that. Medicaid says it does cover it if you have type 2 diabetes, which I have, but because it is also on the weight loss drug list they won't cover it even when I show proof that I have Diabetes."
