"I've been taking Lomaira for about 6 months, off and on. I took one pill a day for 2 months and quickly lost 15 lbs, even though I was prescribed to take 3x/day. It helped me to eat less when I did eat and not eat as often. Once I got in the habit of eating smaller portions, I would stop for a couple of weeks. But my appetite always increased. I don't take it much anymore as I'm trying to use it as a tool and not as a habit. I've managed to lose 6 lbs more doing this. I started at 189 lbs and now 168 lbs, and I'm 5'1", 33 years old, no kids. My job is active, but my off days I spent eating a lot. I've recommended this to several people, and so yes, I would recommend."

"I think this medication is very helpful because I have blood pressure problems and it doesn't increase your blood pressure, it keeps it the same or lower. Also, I have lost 25 lbs since December, and I love that I can take it up to three times a day."

"I'm 39 years old and I have been having issues with trying to lose weight. When I first started this medication, I felt strange, but that was because I needed to eat before I take the medication. I started out a month ago weighing 265 lbs. I am now 249 lbs. I have lost 16 pounds in a month and a half, I will say, and I am going to continue taking this medication and working out at the same time to reach my goal. In order to see results that fast, you have to workout, and that is what I will continue to do."

"I do have ADD, and this is a low-grade amphetamine, so for someone who doesn’t have ADD, these may work. I am not sure why my doctor chose to put me on these, as they do the complete opposite for me. Since I do have ADD, they stabilize me rather than stimulate. The side effects include insomnia, high BP, lower appetite, and boost energy. I am not a person who naps, I can run on 5 hours of sleep, and these made me SO TIRED after taking them. They didn’t give me high BP, they didn’t cause insomnia, they didn’t give me energy, and they did not lower my appetite. They did give me brain fog. You’re apparently supposed to lose 2 lbs per week on these pills. My doctor had me on one 8 mg tablet, then wanted to bump it up to one and a half. I did not continue the meds because even after a month, change in diet, and consistent working out and walking, they still did nothing for me. I started these at 226 and have actually been fluctuating between 237-230 since taking them. I do not recommend."

"I'm a 47-year-old mom of 2. I was always fit, but after I had my youngest at 40, I just couldn't get off the weight, and it kept coming. I did Noom twice, Beachbody, you name it. But after the first 5 lbs, I wouldn't lose anymore. Then I tried Lomaira. Started at 162.3, and my goal is a healthy BMI for my height, which is like 145. It's been almost 3 months, and I've lost 12 lbs effortlessly and am 150 now. No side effects. It's amazing. I started out with 4 mg a day, then 8, and I'm still on just the one pill a day. I hope to continue another 3 months to lose another 12, but I realize I may need another pill to get there. It has been so helpful. I feel great, healthier, more energy, but still sleep. No palpitations. Give it a try!!"

"Age: 40, Gender: Female, Height: 5'6", Starting weight: 177 lbs, Current weight: 164 lbs. Pros: Weight loss, decreased cravings. Cons: Constipation. Advice: I took 16 mg on an empty stomach in the morning for all-day craving control (it lasted through my evening cravings)."

"I've started this at 158.6 lbs. My first pill was 7/13/17. I've started off with one in the morning for my first week. My script is 3 times a day, but my doctor advised me to start off at 1 per day! So far, so good, no side effects & plenty of energy until about 2 pm. I'm gonna start taking 2 per day today, and I will update my weight progress once I hit my 1st month, 8/13/17."

"After a number of painful experiences, I was skeptical about the benefits of Lomaira. Anyway, I decided to follow my doctor’s prescription and give it a try. I am so glad it works for me! No side effects, and it works well for my weight loss. I’ll continue taking Lomaira for a while and will share my feedback here."

"I tried to lose weight with diet and exercise for years. The doctor first put me on an expensive medication, and it worked, but I didn't want to pay $200 a month! The doc told me about Lomaira and how it could be used to target eating in the afternoon and reduce my exposure to too much medicine. So far, so good. No bad side effects, and my appetite is definitely lower. I'm taking one tablet in the morning and a second before lunch."

"I took Phentermine for 3 months and lost about 60 lbs. My doctor changed my prescription to Lomaira, and I ended up having severe gas pains, as well as no weight loss. I have been taking it 3 times a day for 2 months with no weight loss results."

"This product has worked really well for me. I have no side effects and tons of energy. I have been able to stay on track with what my nutritionist has suggested for the first time. I can actually control what I eat. I am getting closer and closer to the BMI my doctors said I need to get to to be healthy. It is going to be a long journey, but I have tried everything before this, and nothing worked. This is the first time I have seen results, and I am sticking with it. It's been 6 weeks so far, and I am hopeful that this will help me reach my final goal weight."

"I started on Lomaira about a month ago, and I've lost 25 lbs, about 10% of my body weight. I've been dieting and doing light exercise. I don't have any side effects, and I take the full dose 3x a day. Hopefully, I will continue to lose weight. Price isn't too bad and way cheaper than anything else my doctor recommended."

"* Edit last entry, didn't include score. I've been on Lomaira for about 8 weeks and have had success. My doctor first put me on 37.5 mg generic phentermine, but I couldn't stop sweating, and it was giving me anxiety. I was definitely eating less, but I hated the feeling. My doctor told me a new weight loss medication was now available that was more targeted to evening when I tend to overeat after work. It's definitely a bit more expensive. I'm paying $29/month, and the generic was about $18/month. I prefer the brand, and I like starting on this low dose. You can go all the way up to 24 mg with this, so I will probably stay on Lomaira for a while. I've lost about 18 lbs in 2 months. I don't like drugs, so I'm happy to use less phentermine."

"I started taking this medication on 6/27/21, it's been 10 weeks, and I've lost 14 lbs. I'm 5'3" and started at 184 and now I'm 170. At first, I had some side effects and would take short breaks. I'm now back to using it daily. Either one 4 mg tablet or one 2x a day. I'm no longer having side effects and will continue using it."

"I have been taking Lomaira for about a month. I had gastric sleeve done a year ago and needed a boost in my weight loss, so my doctor prescribed Lomaira combined with Topiramate. I have lost 10 pounds in a month! Some side effects I have noticed are dry mouth and some dizziness at times if I’m not eating correctly. I also can’t sleep in as much as I would like to, I can only get about 7 to 8 hours, which is still good. I do take my blood pressure every day an hour or two after I take the medication to be safe. Be prepared for potential pushback from your pharmacist. I had a pharmacist who wouldn’t fill the prescription because he felt it was unsafe. This, of course, with his own personal opinion, many other pharmacists are fine, as this drug has been around for 60 years. Good luck!"

"Started Lomaira yesterday, 10/17/2019. My starting weight is 268 lb. My dr put me on it until I can get approval for weight loss surgery. So far, I have way more energy, and my appetite is definitely suppressed. The only side effect I have so far is my skin crawling. I told my hubby, and he suggested I not drink any coffee as it sounds like I am taking in too much caffeine. I love coffee! I am also very sensitive to caffeine, so last night (my first night), I drank a hot cup of chamomile tea to relax me for bed. I was awake longer than I usually am, so maybe I will take my last dose earlier in the day. I am hopeful that this medicine will provide weight loss!"

"Taking 8 mg once a day. I’ve been using it for 6 months. I have lost 35 lbs. No side effects other than diarrhea when I first started it. Now I’ve hit a plateau. I still have bouts of bloaty, saggy skin, especially around the middle and upper arms. It goes away for a couple of weeks, then comes back, usually putting lbs back on. Has anyone else had extra weight keep coming back?"

"I'm a 6'2", 47-year-old overweight female. Like everyone else that is overweight, I have tried everything on the market! I started using Lomaira 2 weeks ago after my doctor recommended it to me. Previously on Phentermine 37.5 mg tablet, she thought maybe it would help to curb my appetite since I take these 3 times a day. Problem #1: it made me super constipated! I ended up in the hospital last week with severe stomach pain. My X-ray showed my colon was packed full. Problem #2: It kept me wide awake at night!! I would try to go to bed around 8-9 pm and would be back out of bed by 10 and wide awake until 4 am... complete insomnia! Problem #3: it never curbed my appetite, in fact, I ate worse taking Lomaira than with the Phentermine. Weight loss pills aren't for me, I guess! Good luck to everyone that is having success with this drug! I envy you!"

"I have to lose 45 lbs before I can be approved for weight loss surgery. Dr. wanted me on Adipex, but I was very hesitant because every time I took over-the-counter weight loss meds, I have chest pains and elevated heart rate. After explaining my worry, she decided to start me on Lomaira. My weight tends to fluctuate so badly, but I started the pills Saturday morning 4-28-18. Today, 5-1-18, I have now lost 4 lbs. I do NOT have more energy. However, I'm never hungry. I only eat when my belly rumbles and becomes slightly upset (telling me to eat even though my head is telling me I am not hungry), which is roughly twice a day, and when I do eat, it's nowhere near what I used to. And I haven't had 1 side effect whatsoever. Hoping to shed the 40 pounds by next month."
