For Nasal Congestion "This medicine is very effective at first glance, but it is quite addictive. I suffer from asthma and have a always congested nose. Still, my nose was never too congested to have to use these, so I limited the use only when I had a cold. I had a lung infection about a year ago and had to take antibiotics and this for about 2 weeks. When I tried to quit it, my nose would get more congested than when I was sick. I thought this would go away within 1 or 2 days. Finally, I had to go back to using the spray again, and I was hooked. I have been trying to minimize the use of it, but every time I quit, it causes that horrible congestion without me having any cold or flu."

Oxymetazoline nasal for Nasal Congestion "I suffer from terrible allergies, and my dad purchased this product for me, and I ran with it for a good 8 years solid. Like clockwork, every 12 hours, my nose would start to get stuffy, and I would need my Nostrilla. My friends actually joke about it a lot now that I don’t need it. Definitely an addictive product. Amazing! But addictive. I almost had to retrain my nose to clear on its own for a while (which we all know is miserable). So please, enjoy as we all did/do, just don’t go longer than needed."

Oxymetazoline nasal for Nasal Congestion "Nostrilla is the only nasal spray that works for me, and we have had a long relationship through thick and thin. I've stuck through many changes, the worst of which was a new additive that was very harsh. Preferring relief to fear of addiction, I have had to deal with addiction. Here's the best treatment I've found. Stop on one nostril at a time. It takes about three days for that nostril to clear. Then do the second nostril. Within a week, my nasal passages were clear without using Nostrilla. Unfortunately, the congestion came back after a few months and I started using it again, but need it infrequently, use it sparingly, and have been able to avoid another addiction. As for the stubborn bottle (what sadist designed this), I use pliers to hold the top part steady while I turn the bottom part with the help of a hand towel. It becomes second nature, but you don't want to wait till the middle of the night to fight this battle. I hope my experience is helpful."

For Nasal Congestion "Works great but is highly addictive and I'd need to use it every 8 hours to be able to breathe through my nose. I'm now suffering with mucosal rebound phenomenon. It shrinks my nasal membranes, but when it wears off, my nose blocks severely and I'd have to use it more and more frequently to be comfortable."

Oxymetazoline nasal for Nasal Congestion "What have they done?! They used a very cheap manufactured plastic bottle which can't be opened and used until drilling a hole into it, which leads to wasting half the liquid. Secondly, its use makes your congestion worse, completely blocked after its temporary effect is gone. You end up having no choice but to become addicted to its use. Never recommend it to anyone."
