For Chronic Pain "Oxycodone immediate release tablets. 100% the formulation has been changed & they are completely ineffective. They no longer work at all. KVK Tech brand of oxycodone is selling literal 'Sugar pills' tagged as Oxycodone. Aside from leaving you with a physically sick, ill, groggy feeling, they do nothing for the pain. Guaranteed the public was NOT told about the formulation change. I have been on these meds for many years due to a very debilitating painful disease. I am now homebound & bedridden from uncontrolled pain, and the fact that whatever they are putting in these pills now is making me physically ill along with something else that makes you so extremely tired you can't function. This fake 'Opioid Crisis' is the greatest medical disaster of our time, and decades from now our children's children's children will be reading about how millions have been left to suffer without effective pain medications & the Government changing the formulation unbeknownst to the public made those who need it physically ill."

For Chronic Pain "I have been a chronic pain patient for 10+ years and had it controlled to an extent taking oxycodone. About 4 months ago, the manufacturer brand of the oxycodone was changed to Rhodes Pharmaceuticals, and ever since, I have been incredibly sick, in major pain, and in withdrawals 24 hours a day! I did some research and saw the reviews for this company's meds and complaints, and I swear to the powers above, once I switched to a different manufacturer, I feel much better! Whatever was in or isn't in the Rhodes' pills, it made me so sick I couldn't even get out of bed some days and ended up in the ER as I have COPD and in withdrawals that I didn't know about! After the ER visit, today on the new medication, I feel like a semi-human again! The Rhodes Pharmaceutical meds are inefficient, making people sick with whatever they are putting in (or not) their pills! Plus, losing 20 pounds in a year that I could not afford to lose as I'm end stage COPD and underweight from being unable to eat from the side effects from their med. Can anyone share on this site?"

For Chronic Pain "I have had too many broken bones to list, many through medical malpractice, car accidents, etc., etc. I've been on Mallinkrodt Oxy 30 mg these last 7 months for a broken femur and humerus. I was switched to Manf. Epic and went through withdrawals for 3 weeks. Then got really sick on Mallinkrodt last month. They are changing ingredients. Read books or at least reviews on Amazon, 'BOTTLE OF LIES' and 'DANGEROUS DOSES' by Kathleen Eban regarding the changes to our generic medications and even brand medications. I was sick after reading what our FDA is permitting, as I'm sure you will be. If we don't band together and start making calls to the FDA, our government representatives, and raising hell, this will continue to get worse and worse."

For Chronic Pain "I've been on oxycodone for 10 years. It works great for me. But I can only take Qualitest brand, now I'm having a hard time finding them. I had 4 back surgeries, hip, wrist, knee, now I need a shoulder replacement. My question is what can I do to keep getting the Qualitest brand. All others don't work at all. They make me sick."

For Chronic Pain "KVK TECH brand oxycodone is more garbage being put on the market in the name of fighting opioid abuse. Seems like all the instant releases are now just don't work and are making people with real pain, who need this medication, very sick with no relief. These companies and the doctors prescribing do not care!!! This is a numbers game. I had a new lease on life after being prescribed opiates for my pain, and now I'm a depressed, useless mess in extreme pain with zero hope for the future. An addiction problem would be a walk in the park compared to what they have caused me to go through."

Xtampza ER (oxycodone) for Chronic Pain "Was forced to Xtampza from former med. This medicine was, I believe, to make you ill, sick, so you don’t want to take it. That designer drug works to make you sick. But doesn’t work too well on pain and takes hours and hours to get any pain-relieving effect at all. It is also inaccurate on how they are made, there must be no controls on the manufacturing process. The 4 score is accurate, many are being forced to this medication even though it’s not effective and takes way too long to work, if at all, and it’s just as expensive as Purdue. I would not recommend this med unless you have no other choice and you’ll just have to force it down and be sick to try to get any pain relief at all. Take it with NSAIDs or Tylenol if your doctor allows it. But just remember how dangerous NSAIDs and Tylenol are. Don’t take that like it’s nothing. Good luck on this one. I only wish the designers and doctors had to take it."

OxyContin (oxycodone) for Pain "Using 20 mg OxyContin x 3 tabs a day, it's very good for pain, as good as morphine, I believe. At first, I felt sick and puked repeatedly, after 4 days, nausea settled down. I've been on the same dose for 5 years. The way I did it is to expect and live with some pain, if breakthrough occurs, then lie down, deal with that, and do not up the dose. For the most part, it works well. There are no prescribing issues as I am in the UK, and there's no problem here, and it's OC that I get and not OP. Overall, a decent painkiller if used sparingly, try to resist the extra breakthrough meds."

For Chronic Pain "Feels like in June all generics became side effect riddled (suicidal thoughts, confusion, dizziness, headaches, sickness, diarrhea, stomach problems, etc.) with wild effectiveness waves. No clue what to even do. So tired, beaten down. Government says watch out for patients who mention 'how they feel' because it’s a sign of drug seeking, yet never actually gained a pill from any of this because didn’t want to put my doctor’s career in jeopardy or lose the human right to choose how to deal with my diseases for the rest of my life by replacing. What kind of system tells someone who suffers this much to take tainted pills for six months without recourse, help, or information? We can’t simply stop taking them like most meds. Schedule II drugs are powerful, so the problems/side effects from tainted pills equal an emergency! More powerful drug equals worse problems from quality issues. Please do the right thing, FDA and media!!"

For Chronic Pain "I have tried so many pain medications. As doctors believe you are a laboratory rat. I was told I would have no trouble leaving my hometown upon retirement and trying to move to a warm climate. But that was not the case. It took forever to find a treating doctor. Along with trying numerous meds, I have a medical marijuana card. That doesn't take care of some pain. I can't take ER as I get extremely ill. The only drug that works is oxycodone. I sure wish there was something else. And I'm treated like an addict."

OxyContin (oxycodone) for Pain "A true wonder drug for pain; there is nothing that comes even close. It is allowing me to enjoy my life and function in a way that was not possible for decades of maddening trips to physiotherapy and pain clinics and costly prescriptions for drugs that not only did not provide any relief but also made me feel sick and kept me bed-ridden. Yes, the drug does begin to wear off before the 12-hour time-release period, but it stays strong enough to tide you over (and also remind you of how much help it is providing). I've been on the smallest amount (the doctor allows 10 mg x 3 plus breakthrough oxycodone for very bad days) for over 2 years; and will stick to that regime. Like a genie, you cannot abuse this drug; if you do, it'll just stop working."

For Chronic Pain "What in the world is happening here!!! I’ve been on oxycodone for over 10 years, always had the kvktech until the last few scripts. One was Amneal and another Rhodes. What are in these pills? They are making me sick!! Can’t find a pharmacy near me with the kvktech, and the pharmacists either say they “can’t tell me what brand they have” or they are very reluctant to do so, and they aren’t allowed to order a certain brand. We have no control over our own healthcare choices."

For Pain "My sig other was being given roxy 30s daily by his friend and partner at work. His wife and he were both prescribed 180 a month. At first, my man was flying, he worked 8-18 hours a day on call for weeks at a time on top of his 40-60 hour schedule. It was insane. Then his friend started smoking them and didn't have the extras very much anymore. This is where HELL came into our life. My man was addicted, no script. He was miserable, sick, and in fear of the awful sickness that loomed constantly. He was mean. They both deteriorated and lost their jobs eventually. It ripped our family apart. When my guy was let go, he had payday loans so deep they took his entire paycheck. His friend died on his bathroom floor last year. Our family was torn apart."

For Pain "These white pills with the R/P on one side and 5/325 on the other side made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals made me feel like I was dying. In fact, I wonder if I could die from taking these. I've never had a problem with other pain medications like Percocet or oxycodone. The fillers in this pill are dangerous. I couldn't breathe, and my face and mouth got puffy and weird. I couldn't see straight and felt no pain relief - just terribly sick. These should be illegal. Cancer patient here."

OxyContin (oxycodone) for Pain "My doctor took me through a number of different medicines prior to starting OxyContin. I have found that I sleep and eat better on OxyContin. More importantly, I function better on OxyContin, including being able to care for myself. Since I began taking it, my insurance tried to force me to the 'generic' Oxycodone ER. Oxycodone made me physically ill whenever it released, its continued use would have made me totally reliant on outside help as I live alone with closest family over 2,000 miles away. Since the Oxycodone affair, we have tried other medicines, and nothing works as well without the physical illness. I have ankylosing spondylitis and am looking at chronic pain."

OxyIR (oxycodone) for Chronic Pain "Suffering from severe pain due to nerve damage in the brain stem and spine. Oxycodone has made such a huge impact on my quality of life. Drug abusers have given narcotics a bad rep and made it difficult for people in real need of this medication. I take methadone once daily for long-acting relief because morphine made me too sick. For breakthrough pain, I use immediate-release oxycodone, 20 mg every 4 hours as needed. Valium 10 mg 3 times daily and Lyrica 200 mg 3 times daily. It sounds like a lot, and it is, but it's the regimen most helpful and took years of trial and error. I'm now able to function and have fewer days 'trapped' in bed."

OxyContin (oxycodone) for Pain "I have severe chronic neck pain due to permanent spinal cord nerve damage. I was given 20 mg twice a day, and it didn't give me enough pain relief. The doctor has increased the dose to 20 mg three times a day, and the side effects are too much to handle. My brain is foggy, I'm more anxious, dizzy, very lightheaded, I have a nagging headache that will not go away, and I have an all-around ill feeling. I like the idea of a pain medicine that is timed release and spreads out over time, but this medication is not right for me. I can't wait to get off of the OxyContin."

For Chronic Pain "Rhodes Pharmaceuticals generic oxycodone hydrochloride is hit or miss. One month you might get a good prescription, the next month you might get 'duds.' They make me extremely sick and lethargic. I have diarrhea-type bowel movements, zero pain relief. I've filed a report at the FDA MedWatch. It is a shame the sick, the real sick (not toenail pain patients) have to suffer."

For Chronic Pain "On roxi 30 mgs, 6x a day. Reading all the negs about Rhodes brand. I've been on the little blue pills for 5 yrs. I've got to say, everyone's different. The little K/59? Did work, but found I was taking more and double dosage for relief, which led to running out, sometimes 2 wks before refill. Sucks, withdrawal I guess like heroin. Anyhow, when switching to the RP/30, they work better, long term for me. Only time I would be able to still have right amount by refill. If I take them too close together, they made me sick as in nervous, wired the wrong way. So I'm scared to take differently than prescribed, also, pain stayed away longer. Just proves everyone is different. I enjoy the Rhodes ones. I truly hope that you can find YOUR right combination. ...peace...love..out!"

For Chronic Pain "Kvk Tech brand is garbage! I'm a veteran that's taken pain meds for 5 years for chronic pain. Never had a problem with the 3 or so times I've been switched to other brands. I'm now sick all the time with no pain relief. I can't wait for the lawsuits to begin for the scumbags that are ruining people's lives with this fake medicine!"

For Back Pain "Was born with birth defects in my spine. Several surgeries starting at the age of 15 years old have created even more complications. Now, at 74 years old, I depend on prescription pain medication to help provide a reasonable quality of life. I've been prescribed different formulations of oxycodone for years. This can be a wonderful pain medication when taken properly as prescribed. Over the years, the strength of these products has been reduced due to media causing a negative stigma. Nevertheless, when you have a need to control your pain levels, it is a private matter. Normally dispensed Mallinckrodt oxycodone tablets 30mg. Activas was always the best but is no longer available. My point is you count on these medications to work. Today was dispensed Roads, these not only don't provide any relief, they make me feel kind of sick. I go to a lot of effort seeing a PM doctor at $300.00 a month. Oxycontin removed from formulary being one of the best. KVK is not helpful, the FDA needs to look into this."

Xtampza ER (oxycodone) for Chronic Pain "Like many others, I was forced off my 20 mg OxyContin ER twice a day by my insurance company that I was on for 10 years with no issues except constipation. My doctor switched me to Xtampza ER, and this medicine sucks! It doesn't control my pain, makes me feel generally unwell, woozy, and nauseous. I even took it with a high-fat, high-calorie 'meal' of peanut butter and crackers, as I heard that helps absorption. I'm sick to death of us pain patients fighting for our rights to medication that works for us! This new abuse-deterrent Xtampza is useless for addicts and useless for chronic pain patients! They design these meds with addicts in mind, not caring if they even do their intended job. I've had chronic pain since I was in my mid-20s due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and I'm 39 years old now, and I just cannot believe I am forced to live the rest of my life this way. What a waste."
