For Influenza "My daughter (8) and I (44) got the flu. Daughter had 102.5 fever, feeling horrible. I had a mild fever and was feeling very sick. We got prescribed Tamiflu, and within 24 hours we were both feeling much better. 48 hours later, we were okay and returning to normal activities (a bit tired, but that was all). 72 hours later, full return to very active schedules. My husband took Tamiflu as a preventative and never got sick. Overall, Tamiflu significantly reduced the duration of our flu. We started taking it within 24 hours of the first symptoms. I rated it a nine out of ten because we had headaches, and my daughter got leg aches after taking Tamiflu."

For Influenza "If you suffer from any kind of respiratory infection, please avoid this prescription. Your infection will worsen. I had a cold and bronchitis. The doctor had prescribed Tamiflu. The whole day and night my head was pounding, part of my face was numb, and my breathing got worse. Stay away from it."

For Influenza "Started feeling ill at lunchtime yesterday, by the time I went to the doctor at 7 pm, I had a 101° fever, chills, nausea, headache, muscle spasms, severe tachycardia, etc. Was prescribed Tamiflu, took the first dose at 9 pm along with Tylenol and Zofran. Took another dose this morning and already feel a night-and-day difference. The majority of symptoms are fine, still treating headache and low-grade fever with Tylenol, but don't feel like I've been hit by an 18-wheeler anymore. If you catch it early, Tamiflu works wonders. Take it with some crackers because the stomach can get a little bubbly."

For Influenza "I commented below recently using the name MaryO12086. I'm on my last day of pills and wanted to give an update. When I first started taking these pills, I got the worst headaches and felt extremely tired and weak, which would last for 3 hours, but on my third day of taking the pills, this no longer happened. I started feeling a lot better! I'm now on day 5 (last day) of the pills, and I feel great. There is one other issue that I now have though. On day 3 of taking the pills, I developed some type of irritation on the roof of my mouth. I'm stuck eating bananas, bread, and avocados because everything else touches the irritation and stings really badly. This is my last day of taking Tamiflu, so I'm hoping that after I'm done it will heal and I can go back to living life normally! The side effects of these pills suck, but they did work for me, which is why I now give them a 7/10. The flu is really scary this year, so I'm glad I was able to finish my course."

For Influenza "Not worth adding the symptoms of severe headache, nausea, and vomiting to an already awful flu. The side effects from Tamiflu made my illness so much worse."

For Influenza "This caused the worst headache ever that would not break and horrendous insomnia. Never again. Would have been nice to be informed of possible side effects."
