For Influenza "Went to the doctor with the flu. Started Tamiflu. In two days, started noticing a rash, swelling in hands, arms, legs, and feet. Could not sleep, though extremely tired. Weakness and dizziness were terrible."

For Influenza "I started taking Tamiflu on the 3rd day of having the flu. It actually made the flu symptoms go away by the next day, but the side effects are not worth it. I got so dizzy I couldn’t even stand up. I had cold sweats and nausea from the dizziness. I also got horrible abdominal cramping and diarrhea. I stopped the medication after the 3rd dose because I couldn’t take care of my daughter or myself from the intense dizziness. I would not recommend this medication."

For Influenza "I had flu symptoms, so my doctor prescribed me Tamiflu. Every time I took it, I felt like I was going to vomit. I haven't felt like eating, so luckily I couldn't vomit. It sort of made me dizzy, and it gave me a headache. I wouldn't recommend the medicine to anybody."

For Influenza "It helped with the respiratory issues quickly, but within a day of starting this, I've been experiencing dizziness, headaches, and nausea, later followed by stomach cramps and diarrhea. ...not sure I can finish the last 2 days of it...the dizziness is the worst."

For Influenza "I'm unsure why this medication is prescribed. I wasn't warned about any of the side effects. I went to a clinic with moderate flu symptoms and was prescribed this and began taking it. After the third dose, I began vomiting uncontrollably and cannot keep anything down. I don't have an appetite, and I feel extremely nauseous, dizzy, and have a headache. I also have mental health conditions, which is why I find it very concerning that I was prescribed a medication that can cause suicide."

For Influenza "This is the first and last time I will take Tamiflu. It made me feel much worse than if I would have just ridden it out. It's made me weak, dizzy, sick to my stomach, and feeling worse than when I started on it."

For Influenza "I was in bed, aches, chills, 102 fever, dizzy, all the good stuff that comes with the flu-just miserable. I tested positive for the flu and took my first dose that evening. Within a day and a half, I feel so much better. I still have some symptoms, but I don't feel like I'm knocking at death's door."

For Influenza "I went to the ER on day two of shortness of breath, chest pains, fever, coughing, aches and pain all over my body. I was prescribed Tamiflu. I went home, took it around 7, my fever dropped down from 100.7 to 98.6 in an hour. I had no more chills and was able to turn my heater off and felt a lot better. I did get very dizzy and felt lightheaded, but overall I do feel a lot better only after 1 pill!"

For Influenza "My 12-year-old daughter was diagnosed with flu B. She started this right away. Since the symptoms of flu and side effects of Tamiflu can be similar, it’s difficult to say. But she is now fever-free without medication 48 hours after onset. I’m hoping and thinking the Tamiflu helped her body get control of the virus. I’m stopping it today because she feels pretty good, and I don’t want to ruin it for her. She did have dizziness, nausea despite anti-nausea medication, but she had it before Tamiflu too. Who knows? But none of the serious side effects for her."

For Influenza "I was prescribed Tamiflu after being ill with a strange and strong flu virus, but it made me feel so much worse, with vomiting, nausea, dizziness, and headaches in addition to my flu symptoms. It really isn’t worth it, and I wish I wasn’t prescribed it because now I’m faced with the task of finishing it because you have to complete the pack. I’m dreading taking the next one. It really isn’t worth feeling this way for hardly any benefits. Plus, it’s super expensive."

For Influenza "This medication is horrible. My entire family came down with influenza A, my wife took it first. Within a few hours of her first dose, she was vomiting. She took one more dose and quit taking it. I came down with the flu and took it next. At first, it seemed great - took my 104.4 fever down to 97.7. I ended up taking 4 doses. First, I had diarrhea about 30 mins after taking each dose. I began to become extremely dizzy, which was not really a symptom I had of the flu prior to taking it. Last night, I took a dose with a full meal. My dizziness became unbearable, and I ended up violently dry heaving 10-15 times in a span of ten minutes. It's been about 16 hours since my last dose, and I am still dizzy. I will never take this again, and I will tell everyone I know not to take it."

For Influenza "Started taking Tamiflu, and within 24 hours, felt like I was on a boat and out to sea. I was nauseous, dizzy, had a nonstop headache, and even got a beautiful speckled body rash as a consolation prize. This drug is horrible, and it seems the potential side effects outweigh the benefits altogether. The fact that I paid over $100 for this medicine and cannot stomach taking another dose makes me even more upset. For the next time, it'll be lots of fluids, rest, teas, and some old-school TheraFlu."

For Influenza "After experiencing flu-like symptoms for two days, I went to the urgent care clinic. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu! After my first dose, I immediately experienced stomach cramps and diarrhea. That evening, I took my second dose, I experienced nausea and dizziness and broke out in a rash on my belly. The following morning, I was hesitant to take another dose, but the doctor had strict orders to finish the prescription. I was very disappointed when, after 30 minutes, I felt nauseated again, and this time, I vomited twice! That was it for me. It actually made me feel worse! I should have just let the flu run its course! However, I am a diabetic, and I did not want complications. I will never again use this poison nor recommend it."

For Influenza "I will never ever take Tamiflu again! After the first dose, I had stomach cramps and diarrhea. But after the third dose, I’ve been so dizzy I can’t even close my eyes, nauseous, can’t sleep. I took it at 8:30 PM. It’s currently 2:30 AM, and now vomiting. Had I known any of this prior, I would’ve never even started taking it, and I will not continue to take it either!"

For Influenza "Started taking Tamiflu after coming down with the flu Monday night-fever, horrible body aches, headache, cough. Within 24 hours, felt much better and fever broke by Wednesday afternoon, aches gone, still coughing. By Thursday, felt well enough to be up and around, but still resting. Thursday evening started feeling exhausted and sick again-woke up Friday, took a dose of Tamiflu, and within an hour started feeling fuzzy, dizziness, numbness in my feet. Just an overall feeling of being off. One day left of the medication, so I'm not going to take it. If I get the flu again, I'll take my chances. Definitely wouldn't give it to my kids."

For Influenza "I started taking Tamiflu, and on day 3, I started having severe panic attacks. I woke up out of a dead sleep because I thought someone was screaming at me. I was trying to take care of my son, and I almost passed out from the dizziness caused by Tamiflu. Not to mention the horrible nausea, heartburn, and stomach cramps. I will never take this drug again."

For Influenza "I’m 18, got the flu for the first time. The doctor gave me Tamiflu. After the first dose of Tamiflu, I woke up from a nap and barely knew where I was. I felt like I was a different person and was under the influence until the medicine wore off. Next time I get the flu, I will NOT take Tamiflu."

For Influenza "The flu hit me out of nowhere, but I knew what it was, so I went straight to my doctor within 24 hours after experiencing symptoms. Since I caught it early, my doctor prescribed me Tamiflu. I started it right away, and the first dose made me so nauseous, dizzy, and I experienced vertigo. I was considering stopping it, but I had heard great reviews about it; I also had taken the first dose on an empty stomach. For the next couple of doses, I made sure to eat something before taking Tamiflu. From doing this, I had no nausea or dizziness. It could be a coincidence, but I think it really made a difference. It definitely shortened the duration of my flu."

For Influenza "Last night at 9 p.m., the flu came on. I had a headache, severe aches and pains, a fever that went up to 101.8, ice-cold numb hands and ice-cold toes, nausea, and dizziness. I immediately took a Tamiflu 75 mg. I drank a lot of water and TJs cherry juice throughout the night. I was at least 50% better the next morning at 6. And now, it's 1 p.m., and I don't have a fever, no aches and pains, just a little grogginess/weakness. I think because I took the Tamiflu immediately, it really worked well. I'll definitely keep a box on hand at all times."

For Swine Flu "I got MS and bad asthma, been given Tamiflu as prevention as we got influenza in the area. I have had 1 day of flu symptoms, and my GP put me on Tamiflu just in case. I must say the 1st tablet I did take this afternoon completely wiped me out. However, side effects are no different from when I have to take prednisone (steroids), dizzy, burning hot, very, very sleepy."

For Influenza "I was diagnosed Thursday with Flu B. The symptoms started the night before. The Dr. said I would be 150% better 24 hours later. It is now Sunday, and while I have managed to keep everything dosage in, it has been a struggle! I did have a flu shot, so between the shot and the Tamiflu, I thought I would be better off. I have not left my bed except to go to the bathroom, as moving my head makes me feel like I have to vomit. I am not sure if I could say this nausea and dizziness is from the flu or Tamiflu, but I am afraid at this point it may be making me more sick than I would be otherwise."

For Avian Influenza "My partner was diagnosed with type A flu Monday night. Doc told me if I start experiencing any symptoms to call right away for Tamiflu. Tuesday morning I woke up with a low-grade fever and chest congestion. Started Tamiflu Tuesday night. Wednesday chills, body aches, temp of 102.5. Thursday fever was gone, only chest congestion. Friday still no fever and improving congestion. I’m taking two pills a day, 75 mg each, for 5 days. No nausea, only side effect is I’m a little dizzy from time to time. Best medicine I’ve ever taken to help with the flu!"

For Influenza "Not effective at all! Made me very nauseous and dizzy! I would rather suffer through the flu! I took it for the full amount of days, but had to cut to once a day instead of twice just to get through it! Never again! It is noted on my medical chart to not give it to me again! I do not think insurance covered all of it! I think it was 30-40 dollars out of pocket?"

For Influenza "I took this medicine the night I spiked a temp of 102.9, and a few hours later I was able to sleep. I woke up, and my fever was nearly gone, the coughing, body aches, and sweating were too. Midday I felt very good. I felt like I was going to be hospitalized before the medicine started to work, I was really sick. The one thing is the Tamiflu makes me really tired, and I feel a little disoriented and dizzy, but I take that over the way I felt."
