Systane Complete (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "So glad I read all these reviews. I started a week ago with Systane complete for dry eye and eye fatigue. Thought I was going crazy since my eyes aren’t focusing, can’t keep them open, and have moderate light sensitivity. Seems to be getting worse the longer I use it. Going to stop and try to refresh or blink and see what happens. Will post a follow-up in a while."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "Ophthalmologist recommended Systane drops for my dry eyes. My eyes feel even more dry immediately after using the drops. I’ve tried for several months using different formulas and it’s just gotten worse. I would not recommend these drops."

FreshKote (ocular lubricant) for Eye Redness "I have been using Restasis drops for approx 5 years, but still suffer from severe dry eyes. My doctor gave me a sample of Fresh Kote to try. At first the stinging alarmed me, but within a few minutes my eyes felt refreshed. These are the first drops that I've actually felt some relief. I haven't had to purchase them yet, but they can't be any more expensive then Restasis drops."

Systane Hydration PF (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "The tamper proof applicator is one of the worst applicators ever for eye drops. Not everyone drops the eye drops into the eye by tilting back the head. I pull down the lower lid and place a drop. When using this applicator, you cannot place the drop exactly where you want it to go; so it either runs down the face or misses the face altogether. The tip needs to be a lot more pointed so it is visible when turning the head to the side. I will not buy this applicator again."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "A year ago, I was given a small bottle sample of Systane for my dry eyes. But I seldom used it and I observed most of the time my vision is blurry. Recently, after getting a pair of glasses, Optometrist prescribed Systane to me for dry eyes. So I finally bought a twin pack. Been using it occasional days for 2 weeks. and feeling light burning sensation. On the 3rd week, I used it 5 days in a row and on the 3rd day, I started seeing 3-4 dots gray-black floaters in my one eye. On the 5th day, I woke up with too many floaters plus a web like sticky vision that moves whenever I move my eye from left to right. I went back to the Optometrist and relayed about my floaters. She advised me to see an Opthalmologist asap. I even asked her maybe it was caused by Systane and she said, no, Systane doesn't cause floaters. But why I got floaters suddenly after days of using Systane?. Why they are prescribing this to people if it cause eye damage?? I wish someone should investigate this product."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Eye Redness "Systane (Long lasting) makes my eyes blurry and they stay blurry for quite a long time. However, Systane Ultra is just terrific. I have been using it for, for glaucoma with dry eyes, a couple of years now and find that it relaxes my eyes, as well as moisturizes them. The Systane (Long lasting) was purchased in error. Went back and got the Systane Ultra again and all is great. I highly recommend it for dry eye problems."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "Have used Systane Ultra for a few years & found it to be helpful for dry eyes. Since the nozzle of the dispenser has been changed to a flatter design, I find I'm wasting more than using it effectively, even though I follow the dispensing instructions. The drops don't dispense properly as they did with the longer nozzle, with the drops running down the side of the bottle & missing the eyes completely. Hopefully, this problem will be rectified by a change of design back to the original nozzle shape."

FreshKote (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "I have severe dry eyes due to radiation of the left eye. This is the ONLY eye drops that has really helped. I usually use them twice a day. If I do not my eyes are very irritated. I am very disappointed because pharmacy I use has discontinued stocking them because of the cost. Many of my friends have changed to Freshkote, they are worth the extra cost. My sight is worth the cost."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "I had a routine eye appointment with an optometrist yesterday (Saturday) and he recommended Systane Ultra. I used it twice and can no longer see through my glasses - everything is blurry (Sunday) 24 hours later. I'm not using it again and I'm going to go see an ophthalmologist tomorrow. I'm worried it damaged my vision; I hope it goes back to normal."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "Side effects HORRIFIC..bloodshot eyes, pain, unbelievable itching..that almost had my eye surgery cancelled. Opthamologist claims it is because only the individual applicators are the only ones that are PRESERVATIVE FREE..and that is what caused the adverse terrible effects. What was worse...the skin under my eyes were literally burnt to a crisp after using 1 week. Ultra, Gel drops and nighttime gel all caused same terrible results...Read carefully what Alcon writes..Preservative free is ONLY in the individual packets..."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "It took me long enough to notice what the culprit was and thought I should warn others. A few years back I started using Systane for dry eye comfort and my left eye got extremely blurry and would not clear. It took months to clear after I stopped using the product, then I was diagnosed with cataracts and had cataract surgery. My eyesight was never so clear till I tried systane again … guess what my vision in the same eye got blurred so I went to see my doctor who told me laser surgery will clear it… fast forward covid hit so six months passed and it cleared by itself after 6 months. Not realizing that systane is the culprit I used it again 2 months ago … guess what? Complete blurry vision in my left eye again for two months now and going … I don’t see how they haven’t been in a class action lawsuit yet for blinding people!!!!! Stay far away from this product"

FreshKote (ocular lubricant) for Eye Redness "I suffered from dry eye after having LASIK eye surgery several years ago. I tried Restasis (which didn't help) and was using Over The Counter artificial tear drops several times per day. My husband (who had just graduated from optometry school at the time) started me on Freshkote, and it has worked great. I use it twice daily, and rarely need artificial tears anymore."

Oasis Tears (ocular lubricant) "After using these eye drop twice daily my vision would be blurred. I didn't think anything of it, the blurriness would last for a few minutes and eventually pass. After using the eye drops for about a month now, my blurred vision has increased lasting for hours. My eyes are red, sensitive to light and often feels as if something is in my eyes. I have currently discontinued the use of these eye drops and hopefully my eyes will self correct and they are not permanently damaged. The side effects of these drops are worst than the initial symptoms I started out with."

Oasis Tears (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "I only bought this ridiculous product, because my doctor instructed me to use the drops prior to an eye surgery. Just about everything about Oasis is a bad deal. First of all, they are clearly overpriced. 30 little vials for almost $30. You would think that one would be enough to last one day. NOPE! Inside each tiny container, there are only a few drops. When you twist off the top, some of the product oozes out due to the internal pressure. Then when you put the cap back on, more will squeeze out if you don't do it right. Why can't they just package there artificial tears like every other normal company. I can buy Clear Eyes from Walmart for about 2 dollars and the product is 100 times better. My recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH!"

Oasis Tears (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "3rd day of Oasis PF tears for dry eye. Dr gave me 2 packages of samples. 10 vials. 3rd day of using and no relief. Luckily I did not buy this. $25 is lot of money for product that not working and making me hurt more. I been using Oasis on left eye and another brand on right eye. Cheaper other brand has improved my right dry eye. Oasis nothing."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "Started using Sustane Complete after the pharmacist recommended it to help with the sudden appearance of floaters. I made an appointment with an optometrist a week away. I started getting light streaks that night after two doses, but I didn't make the connection. Blurry vision as well. I thought it had something to do with the floaters. After a week I had a complete Retinal scan and eye test and was all clear. Nothing wrong. The floaters were normal. I mentioned the light streaks and he said to keep watch for them but he could see no reason for them. I did not mention I was using Systane. On a whim, I decided to look up the side effects. I was shocked and somewhat relieved, that others had the same symptoms...light streaks and blurry vision. Sweet Jesus! This stuff is dangerous! I threw it out...and hope the light streaks stop."

Systane Balance (ocular lubricant) for Eye Redness "I also received a sample of Systane Balance from my ophthalmologist when I asked what he would recommend for my dry eyes. I have found Systane Balance to be the best drops I have ever used for my condition. Previously, I had been using Blink and GenTeal 'Severe Dry Eye Relief' Gel and, while both of these products had provided some relief, neither can compare with Systane Balance. Within a few seconds of my applying the drops for the first time, the stinging in my eyes totally disappeared. The relief provided is also very long-lasting, with the beneficial effects sometimes lasting for more than 24 hours."

Oasis Tears (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "Horrible vial. You have to squeeze so hard to get the drop to finally fall. Then you miss and waste. I've had to use about 6 different drops in the last year and this vial is by far the worst design. It causes you to waste these expensive drops."

Systane (ocular lubricant) for Dry Eye Disease "I just started using the Systane Complete PF today for my dry eye symptoms. First time I used it this morning it was fine, but when I used it again this evening, I started to feel bad soreness in the back of my left eye which is something that I didn't have before using these drops and it also feels like my eyes are drier than they were before I put the drops in! I think I will be looking for a different drop to help my symptoms."
