For Dietary Supplementation "I began taking this product on 4/17/20 (2 gummies a day). I was in the ER by the 19th. I resumed taking the gummies on the 22nd, and after yet another episode, I sent an email to consumer affairs about this poison. If you look on sites like Amazon or Walmart, the reviews are terrific. Drugs.com was the only reliable review source, and I wish I would’ve found this site prior to my purchase. Symptoms started with skin irritation, insomnia, bloating, diarrhea, and a metallic taste in my mouth. Symptoms graduated to my entire face inflamed with hives, severe facial and neck swelling, dizziness, sudden drop in blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, and frozen fingertips that graduated to my entire body trembling and headaches. I felt like I was on the verge of a heart attack. I’m healing now from the episode I had yesterday. I’m still not feeling too well, and I just pray that I can flush my system of this rubbish soon. I want NB held accountable for this toxin they’re selling!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I am a 37-year-old male construction worker, and I have been using Nature's Bounty gummies for my hair, skin, and nails for over two years now. About three weeks after my first dose, I noticed my thumbnails were like freaking daggers... I was accidentally cutting my thighs and forehead just getting dressed! My hair is also about 26 inches long, strong, and shiny blonde. In construction, I use my hands all day. I use my nails to pry and scrape, and even my thumbnail as a screwdriver. I love these gummies, I really believe they work great for me. I have never experienced any itching or rashes. I get headaches, but I've also got a slew of medical issues, and I am on pain meds from pain management. I may get the occasional constipation, but I get that from my meds too. For Dietary Supplementation "Arms are broken out in a rash… itchy skin all over, diarrhea, and headaches. I didn’t realize my insomnia may also be caused by these vitamins. I have been taking them for 3 weeks. It’s the only thing I take-no other medications. Side effects started immediately. I went to my doctor thinking I had some autoimmune issue-stopped the vitamin and my rash got better, stomach is better, and sleeping again. I WISH I had read reviews before taking this nightmare of a supplement! It definitely needs to be discontinued based on what I am reading on here."

For Dietary Supplementation "I was super slow at figuring out how bad these were affecting me. I started these 3 months ago after my mother-in-law said she took the gummy ones. The store only had these ones, not that I would ever take the others after my experience. I was insanely itchy at the beginning and had headaches every day for two weeks but thought it must have been something else. I stopped taking them after I forgot. Then a month later, I remembered them. Symptoms came back, not so itchy, not always a headache, but I developed a sore throat and mild nausea. I thought, oh no, I got COVID. Had a negative test. Bullet dodged. Then the yeast infection came on. Could not kick it. My doctor prescribed me meds, and I had stopped taking the supplement at that time. Then once again I remembered I had these horrible things! Developed a sore throat and a yeast infection within 3 days, and it all clicked finally. Stay away from these things. Not sure what other damage I did to my body..."

For Dietary Supplementation "I had bought 2 bottles of this supplement. I took just one a day instead of the recommended dosage of 3 a day. I'm glad I did that because with just 1 pill, I felt a severe headache. I still finished both the bottles, and then I started getting palpitations, chest pain, and dizziness. This remained for months and months. Never taking this supplement at any cost. I'd rather drink coconut water to lengthen my hair."

Been consistent for a few days now and have started noticing tightness and swelling of my throat, as well as a severe headache. For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking these almost 2 years ago. At first, I didn't notice much. After a few months of taking them, I started noticing daily SOB, bloating, vertigo, and severe headaches 3-4 times a week (around the same time each day). I talked to my doctor about these symptoms, I got no answers other than I may have indigestion. I am relatively healthy, exercise each day, and eat healthy, etc. For me to be having these issues is a bit unusual. I started looking into my diet more, my environment, and my daily activities. I could not come up with anything other than these vitamins. After coming on here and reading the other comments, I stopped taking them immediately. It's been 8 weeks and I have not had a single issue. I am so happy that I figured this out. No, I do not take any other medications, so there was no reaction to address. For Dietary Supplementation "I never thought to research vitamins. October 2020 was my first bout with COVID (lasted 2.5 months), 2nd bout of COVID March 2021, then 2 back surgeries. My hair is falling out by the handfuls. My sister has used these for 4 years and suggested I try them. I took 2/day with breakfast for 3 weeks. I experienced severe gas/bloating, horrible stomach pains, insomnia, extreme fatigue, headaches, my voice is hoarse, an awful taste in my mouth, and a tingly tongue (that should’ve made me think something was wrong). I’m discouraged because I’m getting sicker and didn’t know why. I started reading reviews. Amazon reviews were good, then I found this website. Thank you to those who have written in. I stopped them today and hope I can feel better soon. I bought these gummies from Amazon. There was no expiration date, an odd color, and they stuck together. My side effects are different. For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails about 8 months ago. I experienced an itchy scalp and did not connect this to the supplement. About 3 months ago, however, I began experiencing severely painful itchy arms that dermatologists were unable to identify. After exhausting all treatments (steroids, Benadryl, antihistamines, allergy creams, etc.), I consulted another doctor who helped me journal and identify supplements and/or changes to my diet just prior to the itchy conditions. We identified that I started this supplement 2 weeks before the itchy scalp symptoms began. This has been an absolutely horrible experience for me. I have spent hundreds of dollars on doctors, lotions, creams, antihistamines, etc. Also, some random headaches and stomach pain that I had not experienced previously, but the worst of my side effects is the itchy, painful arms that nothing but ice relieves."

The ringing was low before taking it, and within the hour after, the ringing went louder than ever, and I could feel my blood pressure going up, then got a headache. I have hypertension. I don’t think I’ll take any more."

For Dietary Supplementation "Postpartum hair loss: The 2nd day of taking this, I had a bad headache, but I get them occasionally, so I didn't connect the two. The 3rd time, I woke up at 4 AM and had severe hives covering my body. I took two Benadryl and waited an hour or so. It helped relieve the itching, but my throat began to swell, and it was difficult to breathe. My husband took me to the ER, and I was given steroids and Pepcid. Finally, the hives went away, and I felt better, so I was discharged and slept for like 4 hours. Woke up with a headache, so I took more Benadryl, which the doctor advised. All this to say, I will not be taking it anymore. I'll wear a scarf until my hair grows back! Not worth it! Plus, they smell so bad, and one night I kept belching that awful taste."

Midway through the second bottle, I noticed dull headaches almost every day. Next came the body itch, especially on the face, ears, and scalp.
