For Dietary Supplementation "I had a terrible experience with this product. I used an entire container as instructed, and over the course of that time, I developed terrible cystic acne all along my chin and jaw area. It gave me rosacea-type skin on my cheeks that I ended up having to pay to get lasered. My dermatologist gave me medicated creams, nothing helped the cystic acne. Then I realized it all started when taking the Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails, so I stopped taking them immediately. It took about another month for the cystic acne to disappear, and what actually helped get rid of it is called Benzagel 5% (this stuff is cheap and WORKS SO WELL ON ACNE). The worst part of this entire experience is that I never suffered from acne before. This product was a HUGE mistake. Never again."

For Dietary Supplementation "Do not take this supplement. I took 2 gummies for 3 days. Woke up this morning with hives, redness, and itching on my jawline, eyelids, ears, arms, legs, chest, and back. Ran to the pharmacy for Benadryl. Hoping this will calm down quickly."

For Dietary Supplementation "I used Hair, Skin, and Nails for about a year and started having overall upper body itching: head, arms, back, stomach, breasts, and upper legs. About 9 months ago, I went to the Internet and found untoward reviews of this product and stopped using it. I do not have itching much during the day now, but at about 7:00 p.m. in the evening, I start to itch. I now use Gold Bond and Eumaid at night before going to bed, and it helps a lot. Have not tried Zyrtec, but will do so. Very unfortunate for myself and others who have had so much skin itching with this product."

For Dietary Supplementation "DO NOT BUY, LITERALLY THE WORST EVER. I bought these gummies without reading reviews and have taken three, spread across three days. Two days later, I’ve developed the worst condition ALL OVER MY BODY... EVERYWHERE! Big, painful, red, rash-type bumps. I’m not one to cry, but it’s so painful and itchy that I’ve cried and sobbed, and nothing will make it go down. I’ve visited doctors, and nobody could understand what it was. But I’ve discovered it’s these gummies, and if you read the other reviews, it’s not just me! I just hope, hope, hope it disappears by itself as nothing seems to help it!!! NOT PLEASED 0/10"

For Dietary Supplementation "I took the non-chewy vitamins for three days, and by the 3rd day, I ended up getting a huge rash on my back and my arms. I stopped, and the rash went away. Just to make sure, I tried it again, and the rash came back. I switched over to the chewy tabs and haven’t had a problem."

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking Nature's Bounty One A Day women’s supplement a little over two weeks ago. Two a day first thing in the morning. This past week my head has been itching like crazy, sore to the touch, and it hurts!! I had my oldest daughter look at my scalp to see if something was wrong. She said my scalp was super dry and flaky, I have NEVER in my life had dandruff! My youngest daughter (16) started taking Nature's Bounty Hair and Nails the same day as me, and she is having the same reaction! We were going crazy thinking maybe it was our water, shampoo, and just trying to figure it out. When my genius 16-year-old came to me and said, “Mom, I was thinking about what we have both been doing, and we are both taking Nature's Bounty!” I came straight online to see if this could be it and find this VERY helpful site! How can they still be selling these?!"

"I've been taking the hair, skin, and nails supplements for about 3 years now, and my hair has grown so much, and it is very strong. My nails grow very fast. It took a while for my skin to clear up, but I've always had issues with acne, but now my skin is finally at a much better place. I came to look at reviews to see if anyone else had results like mine, and I am very shocked that there are so many bad reviews. I guess this doesn't work on everyone, but thankfully this stuff really works for me. I'm a healthy 28-year-old, I work out 3 times a week, and I'm Latina, so I don't exactly eat healthy, this stuff didn't make me gain any weight. Also, sometimes I take 4 a day, but only because I have one container of pills at work and another one at home, to make sure that I actually take my 2 a day. But I know I've taken 4 at least a few times by accident. I do always make sure to eat before I take them, or else my stomach will hurt very badly, that was a lesson learned in the beginning."

For Dietary Supplementation "I am never taking these again. I bought these about 1-2 weeks ago (2/11/23-2/20/23) and have been taking them every morning. After taking, I started to get a rash on my buttocks, behind my knees, and in between my thighs. I also have eczema, so I was thinking it was maybe a flare-up or just my skin was dry. This does the exact opposite and made my skin incredibly itchy. Now I’m seeing other people say it made their skin so itchy and describing the same side effects, so I’m positive these vitamins are the culprit."

For Dietary Supplementation "I took these pills 1 day, 12 hours later I had a neck rash patch. I was confused about why. I'm so blessed to have done the research and figured out others had a negative experience with these like mine before I continued to take the pills. I stopped them a week ago. I bought them on the 30th of April 2022, it’s the 7th of May today, and I still have a very small patch, it’s healing though and thinning out. I don’t recommend these pills unless you want a bad allergic reaction. Imagine if I kept taking them, I would’ve been covered with rash patches for months. It’s still going away. I’m now on Nature Made Hair Skin and Nails, and I haven’t broken out so I know it’s not biotin-related. I’m either allergic to collagen or pig gelatin. Probably going to do some research, but I believe I took collagen before by itself and never broke out. This brand just sucks."

For Dietary Supplementation "I tried the gummies to help with my thinning hair. I finished the first bottle with no observed side effects. Midway through the second bottle, I noticed dull headaches almost every day. Next came the body itch, especially on the face, ears, and scalp. My eyelids also became very dry and itchy, and the inside corners of my eyes always felt like they were burning. I didn’t see any improvement in hair, nail, or skin."

For Dietary Supplementation "I am convinced these are sugar pills. I have been on vitamins for a couple of years for nails and hair. Recently, I decided to try this because it was cheaper. It did nothing for me. My nails were even more brittle after taking these and broke constantly. This is after taking New Chapter for 2 years that made my nails nice and strong. Also, did nothing for hair growth. Will be discontinuing and trying something new."

For Dietary Supplementation "I purchased Hair, Skin, and Nails on Friday and began taking the recommended three pills a day. Today is Monday, and I have itching hives in several places. My lips feel 'weird'-not really swollen; I can only describe it as not quite normal. Hope they don't start swelling! Because this is the only new supplement I've started, and I didn't eat anything different this weekend, I'm going to stop the HS&N, of course. Too bad! For Dietary Supplementation "Took for about 9 days the gel caps. Instead of 3 (recommended dosage), I took 2. Within a week of taking, I started getting a red area on my forehead, and within a couple of more days, it turned into a cystic area on my forehead. Then I realized my only change in routine was the Nature's Bounty vitamins. I stopped taking them, but now I have developed cellulitis from where the cystic area was. My face is swollen and I have a sore throat for about 3 days. I went to the doctor. I am now on antibiotics. DO NOT TAKE THESE! If I could rate -10, I would."

For Dietary Supplementation "I used the vitamin D supplement, and on my second day, I noticed my face was itchy, red, and hot, so I stopped taking them that day. My skin on my face is still hot, itchy, cracked, and flaking like a sunburn almost. I hope this goes away soon. Nature's Bounty seems to have a lot of bad reactions from people using their products."

For Dietary Supplementation "Started taking gummies about a month ago. Was okay for a while and, like the others, started with an all-over body rash. Thought it was the shampoo I was using, but after reading reviews, I firmly believe it is the gummies. Threw them out. If I try to go outside in the sun, it makes the rash worse. Stopped taking, hopefully, the rash will clear."

"I’m a 20-year-old female, my health is average. I have alopecia, so I decided to try these out to help with my hair loss. I started getting stomachaches, gassy, and eventually constipated as well. The stomachaches got WORSE. I realized that maybe these vitamins were the culprit. So to be sure, I took only ONE gummy today. Within an hour my stomach was hurting really bad. I was doubled over in pain, about to cry. I had to take two Tums, it’s been over 20 minutes since I took those Tums, and my stomach is STILL hurting. I googled bad reactions to this product and found this page full of other customers’ reviews explaining their bad reactions to it. I wanted so bad for these vitamins to work out for me. I didn’t want to believe that my severe stomachaches were from these vitamins, but now I KNOW. Please don’t use these :("

"These symptoms are all familiar to me now. The last three bottles I bought and returned were melted and smelled disgusting. I bought another bottle three hundred miles from home, and guess what? The smell was disgusting. Then I looked on the reviews, and there were symptoms I had, but now I know where they are coming from. No more!"

For Dietary Supplementation "Omg, after taking this supplement, I said to myself, taste good, good price. Then, after about halfway through the bottle, I noticed a lot of itchy scalp problems. Thought it was my hair coloring products. Then it got worse, my face, eyebrows, and around my lips were getting freaking itchy. So I went to my dermatologist, and she said, you're using or eating anything different? I'm like, I don't think so. Then it dawned on me, must be the gummies. And, no kidding, I stopped them, and the itching went away, especially my face. I was so relieved to get answers! So I’m definitely allergic to this product and cannot take it. Hope this helps someone else who's having issues. I was taking 2 gummies every morning with breakfast. So I’ll need to find another brand."
