For Dietary Supplementation "DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing the gummies, I am currently covered in hives and a crazy skin rash, on my torso region. I had metallic taste in my mouth (I thought I was pregnant) and crazy diarrhea, was always frequenting the bathroom. I have stopped taking them and I am hopefully praying the rash on my chest clears."

For Dietary Supplementation "Arms are broken out in a rash…itchy skin all over, diarrhea and headaches. I didn’t realize my insomnia may also be caused by these vitamins. I have been taking them for 3 weeks. It’s the only thing I take-no other medications. Side affects started immediately. I went to my doctor thinking I had some autoimmune issue-stopped the vitamin and my rash got better, stomach is better and sleeping again. I WISH I had read reviews before taking this nightmare of a supplement! It definitely needs to be discontinued based on what I am reading on here."

For Dietary Supplementation "The Hair, Skin & Nails product I bought has PABA in it. After several days of taking this multivitamin, I thought my hair was looking better, but I developed an itchy rash all over my torso (mostly on my back). I don't know whether to attribute this problem to the vitamins (and PABA in particular), but since I've stopped taking the vitamins, the rash seems to be healing."

For Dietary Supplementation "Started taking nature’s bounty Women’s multi vitamins gummies Dec 9th 2019 and shortly after started experiencing intense itching of the scalp & Skin.this was not happening prior to the vitamins and it took a while to make the connection, I forget to take them everyday so the days of and after I take the gummies from head to toe there was intense crawling and itching sensation. Glad I decided to see if anyone else was having the same symptoms. Sending bottle back to amazon."

For Dietary Supplementation "I was super slow at figuring out how bad these were affecting me. I started these 3 months ago after my mother-in-law said she took the gummy ones. The store only had these ones not that I would ever take the others after my experience. I was insanely itchy at the beginning and had headaches everyday for two weeks but thought it must have been something else. I stopped taking them after I forgot. Then a month later I remembered them. Symptoms came back not so itchy not always a headache but I developed a sore throat and mild nausea. I thought oh no I got COVID. Had a negative test. Bullet dodged. Then the yeast infection came on. Could not kick it. My doctor prescribed me meds and I had stopped taking the supplement at that time. Then once again I remembered I had these horrible things! Developed a sore throat and a yeast infection within 3 days and it all clicked finally. Stay away from these things. Not sure what other damage I did to my body..."

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking natures bounty hair, skin & nails extra strength 5000mcg softgels on April 24th 2021 everyday except for a couples days I forgot. I stopped taking them June 19th 2021 I didn’t change anything about my eating or my exercise habits. I drink more than enough water. I’ve had constant extreme bloat for the last couple weeks & gained some fat on my stomach area I have never had before until I took these pills. My hair seems slightly thicker, but that can be from me just taking better care of my hair since I started the pills in general. I will never take these pills again & wont recommend them either."

For Dietary Supplementation "I have been taking Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Softgels for 30 days now. I didn't realize the allergic reaction I was having was related to these vitamins until today. I have been to Urgent Care twice, the dermatologist, and my primary care doctor in the past month to address my swollen, numb, burning, peeling, stinging lips. I have been treated with Prednizone and antibiotic and topicals. In addition, I have had diarrhea. I should have checked the side effects and reviews first!!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I had a horrific reaction to this vitamin. My eyes became very dry and within 3 days they were swollen shut !! So bad that I couldn’t eve drive!! The excessive swelling has caused terrible dryness of my eyelids and underneath which has consequently caused terrible wrinkles !! I’ve seriously aged 10 years because of thus vitamin and the horrible side effects it’s caused. Take with extreme caution"

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails about 8 months ago. I experienced itchy scalp and did not connect this to the supplement. About 3 months ago, however, I began experiencing severely painful itchy arms that dermatologists were unable to identify. After exhausting all treatments (steroids, benedryl, antihistamines, allergy creams etc), I consulted another doctor who helped me journal and identify supplements and/or changes to my diet just prior to the itchy conditions. We identified that I started this supplement 2 weeks before the itchy scalp symptoms began. This has been an absolutely horrible experience for me. I have spent hundreds of dollars on doctors, lotions, creams, antihistamines, etc... Also, some random headaches and stomach pain that I had not experienced previously, but the worst of my side effects is the itchy painful arms that nothing but ice relieves."

For Dietary Supplementation "Purchased these to help with age related changes to hair and skin - nothing major, just trying to get ahead of menopause. There’s WAY too much vitamin A in these supplements - the three pill dosage gives you 167% of your daily recommended vitamin A. If you eat healthy like me, you don’t need that much. Add in retinoids like Retin A that I use to keep my skin smooth, and you’re getting way too much. My hair started falling out in clumps, I started having serious bone pain - it was terrible! My dr tested my vitamin A levels - very high after taking this medication for a month. Avoid this supplement!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking these gummies almost 3 months ago. I didn't have any major side effects in the beginning maybe just a sore stomach at first, but thats normal as your body has to adjust to this new supplement. I started to see around a month that my hair was getting longer. It used to be a little passed my shoulders and now its half way down my back. So I did see some results with these but everyones body handles stuff differently, so maybe it worked for me but won't work for someone else. My hair has always been extremely slow growing but noticed a faster pace with help of these BUT I did start to get a non stop itchiness all over my arms and legs... I kept putting lotion because doctors thought I had really dry skin but its these so be careful"

For Dietary Supplementation "I only lasted 4 days on the gel caps, NEVER AGAIN. Immediately after taking the recommended dosage I felt horribly nauseous. I thought I was just getting sick so I continued to take them. I have never been so nauseous my entire life and it also leaves a HORRIBLE taste in your mouth. Do not buy this product!"

I bought he tablets and had severe reaction, rapid heart rate, very high blood pressure, and feeling of passing out, no hair improvement. I thought I was going to have a stroke and I do not have high blood pressure."

For Dietary Supplementation "I’ve been feeling bloated and so uncomfortable in my upper stomach the past three weeks. I was assuming maybe I just needed to eat better and exercise so I have been like a maniac doing that, and I still feel the same way. So tonight I decided what have I changed recently and it was these supplements, so I googled it and found all these reviews and I’m stopping these ASAP! For Dietary Supplementation "I had bought 2 bottles of this supplement. I took just one a day instead of recommended dosage of 3/day. I'm glad I did that because with just 1 pill, I felt severe headache. I still finished both the bottles and then I started getting papitations, chest pain, dizziness. This remained for months and months. Never taking this supplement at any cost. I'd rather drink coconut water to lengthen my hair."

For Dietary Supplementation "Did they work? Yes. My nails and hair were flourishing. But! I had a horrible reaction to them. Severe itching all over my body. Started with my legs. Went on for months bc I didn’t think I could allergic to a vitamin. Went to a dermatologist and everything and got diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis. I’ve cut them out after finally getting the brains to read the reviews after a friend said she got bad acne from them. So I’m now waiting for them to get out of my system and weening myself off the itchy allergy meds I’m on. Hope it doesn’t take long!"

I did not expect them to be the vitamins but when I ended up in the ER the doctor said my vitamin A and B levels are way too high."

For Dietary Supplementation "I took these after I had my son in March 2016 I was losing so much hair I was going bald. These made my hair grow so fast and they tasted so good. I took them for about two months with no problems at all. My hair grew my nails were stronger a 10/10 so I decided to buy these again now September 2017 and the taste is awful. And when I take them I get nauseous right away and my head feels like it’s about to explode my stomach feels full of water or bloated it’s weird sensation. It really sucks because I was really looking forward to taking these again."

For Dietary Supplementation "I couldn't tolerate these vitamins any longer than a few days! They smelled horrible and I began noticing that I tasted this smell in my mouth and my skin also smelled just like the vitamins!! It was unbearable along with nausea, and stomach upsets pain etc! These were not for me!! I'm not sure what this overpowering smell is but I just can't handle it!"

For Dietary Supplementation "I started taking these almost 2 years ago. At first, I didn't notice much. After a few months of taking them, I started noticing daily SOB, bloating, vertigo, severe headaches 3-4 times a week (around the same time each day). I talked to my Dr about these symptoms, I got no answers other than I may have indigestion. I am relatively healthy, exercise each day, and eat healthy etc. For me to be having these issues is a bit unusual. I started looking into my diet more, my environment, and my daily activities. I could not come up with anything other than these vitamins. After coming on here and reading the other comments I stopped taking them immediately. It's been (8) weeks and I have not had a single issue. I am so happy that I figured this out. No, I do not take any other medications so there was no reaction to address. And yes, I drink plenty of water (that is ALL I drink). I also took these with each meal. STAY AWAY FROM THESE! THEY SHOULD BE PULLED OFF THE SHELVES."

For Dietary Supplementation "Have been taking this brand and other similar brands to combat my thinning hair loss and nail issues. It seems each time I go back to taking these ( usually gummy version) my hair and nails seem WORSE? It seems I matter what brand I try it is always the same! SO DONE! No more! I’d rather have what I had before than take these supposed hair/nail “vitamins” and GET WORSE RESULTS! Be careful ladies! Do not waste your $ like I did!"

Been consistent for a few days now and have started noticing tightness and swelling of my throat, as well as a severe headache. For Dietary Supplementation "I took these gummy vitamins for two days and developed a bald spot at the top of my head. I wouldn’t recommend taking these pills the side effects are completely the opposite of what you want when looking for healthy hair and nails. They also cause bad stomach cramps and Im not on any medication so IDK what is up with these vitamins."
