For Alopecia "I had started minoxidil 5 on 19th Jun along with dutasteride and Follihair tablets. The results as of date, i.e., 9th Aug, are visible, especially on temples. Plenty of small brown hairs on both sides and on the forehead hairline. I am using it twice a day (Minza), 5 sprays each, and taking the other medicines once daily. In the mid, I used Tugain, but because of the alcohol content, it reacted badly on my skin, giving rashes and swelling on my face. Now, I'm back on 'Minza 5 - No alcohol,' and this is fab. No side effects, except a bit of scalp irritation. If one needs, I can share the pics as well."

For Alopecia "This product works very well. I've been using it for the past 3 years, and it has been a lifesaver. It's restored most of the thickness I had before I began losing my hair. I think most people on here complaining that it doesn't work either aren't following the instructions on how to use it properly, or they waited until it was too late (being completely bald) to start using it. Keep in mind too that this product takes a few months to begin working. My only complaint is it causes dandruff and itchy scalp."

Minoxidil topical "Been using Rogaine foam for just two days. I am experiencing an itchy scalp, redness, and small bumps on my face, neck, and behind my ears. Also, my trouble spots feel very hard and lumpy. I hope that goes away after being in my system a few days."

For Alopecia "Female, middle-aged. Some areas of my hair were slightly thin. My dermatologist suggested minoxidil. After doing my research about the chemical ingredients, I declined. Years later, I decided to try it. It burned my scalp, causing a very dry, itchy, flaky scalp with scabs. The areas around my hairline where I used it were much darker than the rest of my skin. I stopped using it, then went back to it later. What a nightmare that was, as all the areas I used it became bald. I had to wear a wig... which I hate. A few years later, my hair grew back, but not as healthy as it previously was. I saw the women's minoxidil foam now available over the counter and decided to try it again. OMG, same disaster, with major hair loss in the areas where I used it. NEVER AGAIN!!! Now wearing a wig again. Please explain, somebody!!!!"

Minoxidil topical for Alopecia "I had been losing my hair slowly for several years. I tried all kinds of alternative therapies, supplements, and other nonsense because I was afraid of trying Rogaine. None of those things helped at all. So I finally tried Rogaine after my hair stylist commented on how much hair fall I had each time I came in. I was really worried about scalp irritation since I have sensitive skin. But I'm happy to say that I haven't had any irritation at all. I'm about 8 months in, and I have a ton of new growth. My hair is shoulder length, with the new growth being about 2-3 inches long. That looks a little funny, but I don't mind. The new hair is the same texture, color, and quality as the existing hair. Rogaine has helped me keep my hair. If you try it, you need to give it 3-4 months before you'll see new hair growing. Stick with it. It works."
