For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, so I totally get what everyone is saying. Day 1 was THE WORST. After I applied it, I laid in bed almost crying because it was so uncomfortable. It was like a tingly, burning itch deep inside that I could not get to. My boyfriend thought I was dying, and I ended up in the shower rinsing it off. After talking to some coworkers who get them all the time, she said my vaginal area was probably so raw. I am currently sitting here on day 2. So much better! Just some mild itching! I promise it gets better! Stick with it, girls!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "UPDATE: Day 2. So far, night #2 hasn’t been bad. No burning. Very slight itching. Definitely tolerable. Will go forward with the rest of treatment. Will update you all if I make it to day 7 or not. :) *** I remember using this in the past with no side effects, not sure what the difference is now. Maybe because I’m prego? Anyway, I’m 27 weeks, and my Dr. advised for me to try this first because the pill will pass through the placenta. There is a tingling sensation, which I can handle. It’s the itching driving me insane. Fortunately for me, no itching or burning on the inside, it’s the vulva. Wish I hadn’t rubbed any on it prior to insertion, lol. The itching seems to be subsiding gradually, not as quickly as I’d like though, lol. I will try night 2 and then from there decide if I will take the pill instead or not. 2/23/2020"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I got the Monistat 7-day treatment. The first night was a bit rough for me. About 30 minutes after insertion, I felt the burn. It lasted about 45 minutes. After that, the burning went away. I'm on day 3 now and I kind of feel a little tingly feeling, but nothing more. Overall, it's working because at first I was itchy, burning, and had a discharge. Now all that is gone except for the little tingly feeling. After I got past the first day, it's smooth sailing for me. My yeast infection is almost gone. I would recommend it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First night of using Monistat 7 was extremely uncomfortable; after inserting the cream, it started to tingle, and it felt a bit disturbing. But then it started to feel itchy inside, then the burning started, and OMG it was unbearable. I wish I could have washed it out of my vagina. I had to stick it out but was afraid to even insert the second dose."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My doctor prescribed this to me in high school when you had to have a prescription to get it. I have been using Monistat 7, Monistat 1, and Monistat 3 since high school, and I am now 47. I have never had a burning sensation until this time. I honestly believe someone has tampered with this product, as Monistat is not supposed to burn. You can insert it anytime. The only thing normally was that it would leak. No burning. Depending on how bad the yeast infection was, it might tingle, but that was it. Big pharmaceutical probably bought them out to keep us paying for prescribed medicine. This time my applicators were blue instead of white... Dead giveaway. Monistat applicators have always been white. If you get blue, don’t use."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ladies, please don't use this. I’ve used Monistat 1 and 3 before, and I’ve never experienced what I am right now. Usually, it’s normal for it to feel a little bit uncomfortable and tingle a little bit. But after 2-3 minutes after inserting the cream, my coochie was on literal fire. I tried laying in my bed to see if the pain would go away... it didn’t. It got so bad that I had to hop in a cool bath. Of course, that didn’t work, if anything, it made the burning sensation 20 times worse. I was in the bath for 30 minutes, crying my eyes out. It got so bad that I almost went to urgent care. This is my first day taking this, and it will be my last. I’m going to the doctors or quick care in the morning. Listen to these reviews, ladies, please. I’m still in pain right now. 10/10 wouldn’t do this stuff again!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First day using Monistat 7, and it does itch very badly inside, but I believe that's because the medication is doing what it's designed to do. It is treating all infection and yeast buildup. Very uncomfortable tingling feeling in the vagina. However, for the unbearable itch on the outside of the vagina, the cream has worked on that so far with instant relief. Looking forward to continuing this until day 7. I put off treating this for a week. Also, I believe if you take too long to treat the infection, it plays a part in the burning and itching sensation you experience the very first day you start treatment. Hang in there, ladies, and take care of your vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first night using Monistat 7 was definitely painful, but it only itched/burned for three minutes after insertion. The second day was much the same, but once those three minutes were up, I just felt relief from the swelling and itchiness. My tip: insert the cream as deep as you can. With the applicator shape, this can be hard. Definitely use gravity to help you here. I do it lying down with my hips elevated and slowly push down on the applicator. I usually take up to a minute at this step. It ensures that nearly none of the cream leaks after insertion. I think this is a big reason why I haven't had a similar reaction as other reviewers. Once I'm in bed, I lie on my side. The first night was definitely intense, but it passed quickly and I was able to have a full night's sleep. I'm on night three now and after this insertion I only had a warm/tingling sensation. Most of my YI symptoms are gone now (I will be completing the whole course)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My screen name should say it all. But in case you're wondering, after inserting the seven-day cream, I experienced itching and tingling all over my body. I ceased using it and saw my OB-GYN, who prescribed clotrimazole-betamethasone and fluconazole for my YI. The pain was still so bad I was on ice, so my doc called in a bottle of Tramadol. Finally, I got some relief. An allergist patch tested my back with all sorts of chemicals, including all of my vaginal creams. My only allergy diagnosed by him was Monistat 7."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am using Monistat 7 for a yeast infection suggested by my doctor (I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection that, of course, gave me a yeast infection). I was very hesitant at first because I am very sensitive down there and prone to UTIs, and I finally haven’t had a UTI in a while, and of course, this yeast infection happens. Anyway, I used it, and I suggest being as close to your bed as you can so the product doesn’t leak out. Laying down helps avoid that. It’s going to burn. I found it burned for me for at least an hour and 30 minutes. It did get better in that time, but the first 30 minutes was nothing I’ve ever experienced. Just very itchy and burning, and I felt like tingly, if that makes sense, like my legs felt squirmy... but I will say it’s been 4 hours later, and I can feel some sort of relief, which is awesome. Hopefully, this will knock it out. And like all the ladies said before in their reviews, just be strong, you got this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First time getting a yeast infection and I had no idea what it was. After 3 days of scratching, I went to my doctor and they told me to get this medicine. It worked great! There was a slight burning and tingling the first two days, but that was because the area was raw and inflamed. Definitely would recommend this product!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So this was my first time buying YI cream from the store because my doctor usually prescribes it, but since I self-diagnosed myself, I figured why wait to go to the doctor for her to tell you what you already know. So I asked the pharmacist what YI cream would be the best, and she told me Monistat 7. The first night I used it, my vagina immediately started tingling. I’m like, okay, this starts to work instantly, but boy, it is painful. I’m on day 3, and the side effects have not let up one bit. But I think I’m gonna just go ahead and finish the whole 7 days so I can have a YI-free vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently soaking in the tub. I just wish I would’ve seen these reviews in advance before purchasing. Due to currently being on my menstrual cycle, I believe I’m unable to see a gynecologist. So this brand was recommended by a firsthand user who has used it years ago and it helped. As I’m not familiar with this product nor can I say what ingredients have been added/removed within the past few years, I can’t compare uses. However, what I do know is that no product should cause this much discomfort. It’s sad to say I’ve experienced the same symptoms of unbearable pain inside my lady area after inserting the cream. Not even ten minutes afterward, my area began tingling, then came a burning sensation before hell broke loose. Immediately, I removed the cream from my inside. I’m not allergic to anything. Can’t think of an explanation for why this would react in such a way unless it’s expired, even though it states the expiry of 2019. I’m for certain there is something wrong with it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I want to sit on a tub of ice. I'm on day 3 of seven. I'm trembling. I'm tingling and afraid to breathe. All I did was take some antibiotics. This is barbaric."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I have had a yeast infection for quite some time and was told to get Monistat 7. As soon as I inserted it into my vagina, it tingled then burned like lava. LIKE, OH MY GOODNESS. But on day 3, I have not had any more symptoms of my yeast infection. No itchiness, no burning, or nothing. It works, but OMG, could they make a cream that doesn't feel like lava inside you."
